Secreto Southern Kitchen - Alpharetta
Best place in Alpharetta. Everything was top notch
The food here is truly amazing. Although the restaurant is not in the heart of Alpharetta which we were looking for, we decided to try it as we had never been. The staff is so friendly- they truly take a concern for each customer and ask your name and wish to know you. The food had all of us cleaning our plates even though we were so full. We will be back.
This is a top tier restaurant in North Fulton. Everything worked well. Table was ready when we arrived. Service was prompt and professional.
Our party of four had four different entrees - chicken, red fish, pork chop and short ribs. Everyone enjoyed what they order. All looked good, portion size was appropriate, yum, yum.
Noise level could be a little better. It is not bad, but less clatter would suit me. I order an Old Fashion to drink - excellent. Very well made with a single large ice cube and orange peel.
We are going there more often. It really is great.
Went to Secreto Southern Kitchen for the first time and enjoyed it immensely. Atmosphere, service, and food were all great. The chef came to our table and asked if we had any questions and gave some recommendations. My wife is pescetarian and he was able to modify her order to fit her needs. Will definitely be back.
Food was amazing! Waiter was friendly and super helpful. Would highly recommend
Secreto never disappoints! The fried green tomatoes are amazing and so if the pork belly app
Food was really good with the exception of the pimento cheese appetizer . Served warm like a queso, it tasted more like cheese wiz than anything. The rest of the meal was very good. the other appetizer was deviled eggs, little bacon bits.. yum.
Two of the entrees were the fried chicken, three pieces of boneless breast fried crisp, served with a cream gravy with a hint of jalapeño. delish. Redfish and filets, the other two entrees both good.
Portions were big, service was good, friendly, and knowledgeable.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything on the menu is great. We started out with the bang bang shrimp appetizer which is to die for. I've had the fried chicken entree before and had to have it again. It's such a large entrée I took half of it home. My fiancé had the short ribs, he said they were delicious, tender and juicy. And of course we shared the carrot cake for dessert which is the best carrot cake I've ever had. Love This Place! The food, ambience, service is incredible.
We loved the entrees and dessert. Next time we will pass on the appetizers because they were just “all right.” The cocktail was delicious as well. Recommendations: Fried Chicken, Faroe Salmon, Creme Brulee
Great food and environment
Food, Beverages and Atmosphere was Great. Headed back again this weekend. Poke Bellies were awesome, as was the Chicken and the Beef Spare Ribs... Scallops looked good, too. Place was completely full... Sat us at the Bar... we were well taken care of by the Bar Staff.
Been to this location several times and the food is always wonderful. Brought a colleague from Ohio there for dinner this week; unfortunately, I won't be going back.
Our server was wonderful and we were seated promptly. The food, which is always tasty, was not quite warm enough for my liking this evening. The fried green tomatoes were room temperature and the grits that accompanied the short ribs were not quite hot.
After dinner we ordered coffee and desserts. When served, we did not receive any silverware and no cream for the coffee. When prompted, silverware was brought to the table but I was informed there was no cream and was given 2% milk. At 6:30pm it seemed early to run out of cream.
While I understand the restaurant was busy and entertained two large parties while we were present, the service was less than what I've come to expect from Secreto. Not the server, who was wonderful. During dessert, I stepped away to use the restroom - upon returning my half-empty coffee had been taken away and within a few minutes the manager asked if we could "take our conversation over to the bar" so he could seat another couple at our table. Of course I understand the need to accommodate customers with reservations, I had my own reservation and we spent our money an appetizer, two entrees, two desserts and a coffee. After more than $120 between the two of us I would've hoped we would be allowed to finish a conversation before being rushed along. The manager offered to buy us a drink the bar (despite noticing neither of us were drinking) essentially to make room for more paying customers. I appreciate his honesty and hope that he takes the opportunity to use the space I would have used as a future customer to seat someone else - there are plenty of moderately priced options in Alpharetta for me to entertain out-of-towners in the future. Management's planning to accommodate reservations at sitting customers' expense is a great reason to find a new place to go.
Excellent food and service! Always a pleasure to dine here. We brought foodie friends from San Francisco and they enjoyed it, too!
We did the restaurant week menu. The food was so good. We loved it all, but the fried green tomatoes was one of the best appetizers we’ve ever had. Our server was very friendly, as well. Highly recommend this place.
We have been to Secreto four times now and the food and service are consistently excellent. The menu offers a range of choices from seafood to beef and all of the dishes we have had have been well prepared. My only complaint is that the wine is overpriced.
A little loud
Secreto is a hidden gem in Alpharetta. All their food is full of taste and fresh ingredients. Their bar drinks are just right. Their desserts are to die for.
Amazing place to go!!! The only thing that I would change is the lighting. We went on a rainy day but it seemed a bit dark for lunch.
Excellent service and outstanding food. Crab cake appetizer was delicious, the redfish was awesome, and the fried chicken was as great as I remembered. Our waiter (Sebastian) was terrific, and Chef Boyd even came to our table twice to say hi and ask how our meals were. Highly recommend.
My wife and I went to Secreto for our Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was outstanding! The food was fantastic, and our waiter was very attentive and personable. We highly recommend and will be returning!
Took my wife here the day after Valentines. The food was outstanding, we loved it. We had the redfish, braised short ribs and Pork Belly appetizer. It was nice to go into a place where you didn't have to yell to have a conversation, nice ambiance. Considerations to make it five stars? Service to get drinks could have been a bit faster. Highly recommend!
Our second visit, which was as good as the first. This time we ordered scallops and chicken - both of which were excellent. We really enjoy Secreto!
Everything was fantastic!! Pork chop, fried chicken, carrot cake 👌🔥💕
This place never disappoints! Everything is good!
Best chicken dish I've ever had! Crispy, flavorful and exotic !
Our night at Secreto was wonderful. Tremendous quality. Outstanding Service!
Our food was delicious. We ordered the pork chop and redfish. The waitstaff and manager were all very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the weekday dinner out, and will definitely be back.
Enjoyed a Valentine dinner. Started with the warm pimento cheese dip which is fabulous. My husband and I shared the fried chicken dinner which was perfect. And plenty of food. Even had enough to take home. Our waiter was great! Wish I could recall his name but the service at Secreto is always on point. Highly recommend for a date night or a night out with friends.....cool bar too!
Loved it, always love it.
Felt like they were trying to move us quickly through our meal, but I said something and then it was ok. Food was great. Server and staff were friendly and pleasant.
Good food and good service.
Three words....”Get The Chicken”. You will not regret I.
Great food and service. Only quibble is that the two top tables are arranged so that one of the dining party stares at the wall the entire time.
We are fortunate to dine in fine restaurants around Atlanta as well as internationally. We don’t give 5 stars often, but we are doing so here. We ordered several entrees and appetizers... Bang Bang shrimp, fried chicken, short ribs, burrata, and beet salad. Each was cooked to perfection, so flavorful, the seasonings and sauces were a good marriage. Boyd Rose is one talented Chef. He spent time talking with us during the evening. His carrot cake is not to be missed.
Be sure to make reservations. All tables were full the entire time we were there. Our server, Sebastian, was very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend Secreto! And will return soon.
We LOVE Secreto. Food is amazing. Service amazing. So happy to have this in our back yard.
Great ambiance! The chef was awesome and kept checking with us and was super sweet!
We had a nice visit to Secreto and a very good dinner! The menu is great for foodies as well as an upscale twist for comfort food lovers (fried chicken with jalapeno gravy for example). The bar makes handcrafted cocktails that are original and tasty! I'm not certain what this space used to house(?) It is almost too open, like one giant room, and the noise level can escalate. The carrot cake for dessert is outstanding!
Excellent experience! The owner graciously came by the table twice to check on us and the food quality and service was outstanding !
We had apps and several bottles of wine and dinner and then were talking and catching up when the manager came to our table and asked us to leave so they could seat other customers. Appalling.
