   First visit back since the pandemic. Food as always was superb. We were able to be seated in the open air courtyard. Wonderful ambience on this sunny evening.

   Serafina has a solid menu small menu and the food is always reliably good tasting. The wait staff was a bit snippy, parking is atrocious and that is not their fault. Unfortunately, it limits one not in the neighborhood to going only on weekends. We enjoyed it.

   They were busy, took 90 minutes to get our main dishes. When they came one of them was the wrong order. The crew scrambled to make it right and did so in less than 4 minutes. We were comped on the misplaced dish. The food was excellent but the wait time neutralized the experience.

    Our server may have been new. She forgot to bring us wine for about an hour. Her timing, in general, was very off. The patio felt hurried - the plants looked like they'd been shoved in pots without considering aesthetics. As always, the eggplant was the star, but the asparagus salad was also excellent. The halibut a bit overcooked and very tiny.

    Mother’s Day 2023. Our server was very slow and not paying attention when taking orders. All the tables around us that she was serving got their orders wrong - several times. No water refill. The first course was ok - I had a salad and I liked it. But the second course was inedible - scrambled eggs with salmon. My husband’s pasta was also super salty. Pretty disappointing.

    A superb Mother’s Day brunch! The fare was delicious and well-presented; the service was attentive without being intrusive; the atmosphere on the back patio was lovely and relaxing — and the violin player was icing on the cake. Well done, Serafina!

    Arrived at 7:30p for our reservation- promptly greeted and seated. Level of noise was more than energetic, but by 8p the noise started to subside. Wait staff attentive- food delish. Never disappointed with Serafina.

    Dessert was sublime (a cheese cake concoction). Simple salad with subtle, lovely dressing. Chicken wrapped with prosciutto was very good and certainly interesting. The mocktail made with shrub was fantastic.

    My father and I visited for my 22nd birthday and had such an amazing time. The atmosphere, the food, the kind kind people who work there, and the delicious drinks all added up to just a wonderful wonderful time. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special.

    This restaurant is wonderful. The food is awesome. The staff is awesome. The kitchen staff is creative and consistent and if you don’t like this restaurant, one of two things is true. You were either dead. Or you have no taste.

    When I lived in Seattle, Serafina was a routine place to go for a great night out. I was in town for the weekend and wanted to visit while I had the opportunity. In 2+ years away, nothing has changed - still great food, great service, and an amazing atmosphere. Jonah’s service was top notch. The rigatoni is fire. I have nothing but positivity to say about this place. The next time I find myself in Seattle, I’ll be sure to visit again!

    We have enjoyed Serafina for years. Some of of our party really did not enjoy their dishes - they felt the flavor pairings did not go together and their meats were over cooked and tough, nor did they enjoy the fairly expensive wines. We have noticed many changes over the last few years and it’s not as good as it used to be.

    We enjoyed our first visit to Serafina in many years. The special Brussels appetizer was inventive, generous and perfectly cooked. The Pollo Saltimbocca had a deliciously rich pesto fregulo sarda accompaniment, and the halibut was light and delicious. The Italian wine pours of Sauvignon and Chardonnay had us wanting to buy a bottle! We’ll be back soon.

    Serafina has been a jewel in the Eastlake neighborhood for many years. The courtyard makes me feel like I am in Europe...beautiful and quiet. The service is always outstanding. Highly recommend Serafina.

    The restaurant itself is charming and the staff is friendly. However the food is horrible. Everything was odd and tasted like a reheated old meal from somebody’s freezer. The arancini were small, overcooked, and did not have the stuffing in the middle with rice around it, like the originals in Sicily. They mixed the stuffing through the entire small rice ball, making the inside greasy and slimy with the outside overly hard and over cooked. The eggplant dish had maybe 2 ounces of eggplant swimming in a sea of a jar of Prego sauce, which was topped with flavorless angel hair pasta for some reason. My husband had the bolognese rigatoni which was chewy and over cooked as well, with barely enough sauce to mask the tough pasta. We stupidly got a dessert, which was a nasty pre-made cheesecake from the back of a refrigerator case at Costco, slimed with canned cherry pie filling and worst of all, topped with peanut pieces and little marshmallow bits that tasted like they had been dug out of a box of Lucky Charms. Terrible excuse for Italian cuisine. We will never go back.

    The person who waited on us was a gem! She was personable, made excellent wine recommendations based on what we were having for dinner. The restaurant remembered that it was my husband’s birthday so they sat us in a corner table, cozy and perfect!

    Went to celebrate my wife's birthday, the staff took great care of us. The food was fantastic. The risotto with black truffle was the perfect starter. My wife enjoyed the house made pasta with pork belly while I enjoyed the beef short ribs. The best bites were the roasted dates, four of the dates with prosciutto and four were stuffed with gorgonzola cheese. I would go back just have these again!
