Server was attentive. Unfortunately when our food arrived my partners food was cold. Server took away but took such a long time for meal to arrive back I had finished my meal before his arrived. At our behest small discount given on bill. A shame as the food was nice.

Excellent food …a bit pricy for a lunch but it IS NYC! The service was good. We did the Messi chicken sandwiches and they were very tasty.

First, the service was extremely slow. The food was average, the prices were high. The noise level inside was deafening. We ate outdoors and had to ask them to turn down the volume on the speakers. We will not return.

What a beautiful place! And the food is very good, as I've come to expect and the staff very polite and friendly, helpful and welcoming. You could either dine indoors with live music of - as we selected - outdoors with (much softer ambient) music. It is always a pleasure to visit HR places. They never fail to meet my expectations. Recommended!

We went at the last minute and quickly, because we had a Broadway show. The salonero helped us receive our order and counts as soon as possible. We hope to return and be able to taste more dishes from your menu.

Simply amazing… The food the people the service the hotel is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at me and my twin sister had the best time of our lives. We are now back in California, but we will be back again as soon as we can because I now love New York.❤️🌹👯‍♀️🎶

Stayed at the new hard rock hotel. This is the restaurant at the hotel. Good food. Priced for midtown/Times Square area. Hotel is beautiful rooms are great. Everything is clean.

Location is in core of the hotel. Relaxing dinner will not happen. Across the open staircase, was a couple sitting at a table, with their kids at a different table playing flip the water bottle on the table. Thump, laugh, thump yell, thump high five. Again, a relaxing dinner will not happen here. Took a long time for server to take our drink order. Took even longer to receive the drinks. Ordered food at time of drink order as we were on a time crunch. Literally did not take one sip of my cocktail, and the soup appetizer was delivered. Beautiful presentation, taste was good, but it was cold. Waited a long time for replacement soup. It finally arrived. I barely finished the soup, and the entrees were delivered, and they were barely lukewarm. The taste was good, but we needed to be somewhere, so we kept the lukewarm food. I can think of many more places to spend a couple of hundred dollars.

We were looking for a place close to the James Earl Jones Theatre in order to make a 7PM curtain and have a quick drink and bite to eat. Sessions which is just down the street in the Hard Rock Hotel on 48th between 6th and 7th Aves was a good choice. The bar and restaurant is an open airy space located upstairs from the main entrance. There was entertainment for part of the time we were there 6PM - 7PM. They were good but a bit too load in our opinion. We requested a table away from the band which helped. There is an outdoor space but on the evening we were there it was closed for a private party. We mainly wanted small plates and drinks given the short amount of time we had. The drinks were very good. The food choices for small plates were a bit limited but we found things to our liking and everything was delicious. Service was pleasant, helpful, and quick to fill our order when we let them know of our time considerations. I would go back again and sit outside if weather permitted.

We absolutely loved everything we ordered and how well it all flowed together. Our service was amazing from start to finish. We enjoyed the Shrimp Dolmas and the Springtime Minestrone as starters. We then shared the Chilean Sea Bass. We finished our experience with the NY Cheesecake and the Strawberry Gelato. The food is all farm to table and some items were not present on the online menu, so don't be surprised if they make edits based on what's fresh.

Weekends they have a very expensive poor choice brunch which wasn’t mentioned when I made the lunchtime reservation. $55 with hardly any choices 👎🏻

This wasn’t a great experience this time but I had dinner there the night before and everything was perfection. Breakfast was not great bc we didn’t have great service. No water or drinks for the entire meal until minutes before our check was paid. And no real service to ask if anything was needed. We were sat and spent the entire time asking servers around our table to grab our server the entire time. I’m so glad I had great company to offset this horrible show of service.

My girlfriends and I had Mother's Day Brunch at Sessions Restaurant. The location was in the heart of Time Square, the service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. We were pampered the entire time we were there which included a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Thank you Sessions for the best Mother's Day Brunch.

First visit. Food was very good. I had short ribs and wife had salmon. Both cooked correctly and delicious. I had a restaurant signature cocktail that was also very good. Desserts were fine. The noise level is high (it's in a Hard Rock hotel after all). We asked if the sound could be turned down, and initially it was but returned to being very loud after a while. Service was terrific.

I was unaware this restaurant is actually in the hotel lobby check-in area. Be prepared for lines for check-in to be near your table. Very awkward setup. (Note: there were tables in an area near the courtyard that were away from check in, unfortunately I was sat in the area near the front desk. Food was good, but in 2023, refills on a glass filled with ice and little soda should be complimentary (free refills) and not $7. I can’t say I would recommend this restaurant/lobby location.

I usually don't eat at restaurants in Hotels. But this was a very pleasant surprise..it is NOT the Hard Rock Cafe. Sessions has an elegant atmosphere, and last night had live music. The thinly sliced grilled octopus was very flavorful, and the Beef rib excellent-no knife needed. I will definitely go back!

We had lunch before our Broadway show and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Salmon, Caesar salads, ribeye and a burger. Even the fries were delicious! Great wine and cocktails, as well. The servers were all very attentive, making sure everything was cooked to perfection and the check came in time to make our matinee.

Truly wonderful dining experience at Sessions. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a lounge-style set up. They have a lovely menu with a number of tempting choices. The kale soup, king salmon and parsnip puree were all delicious, and the chocolate cake was absolutely heavenly. My server Imane was fantastic, and made certain that everything was perfect. A great addition to the Midtown Manhattan dining scene. I look forward to many more sessions at Sessions.

Absolutely the worst restaurant in NYC. Avoid this place at all costs. Service was abominable. Slow and inattentive. We asked where our food was three times and was told it was coming in five minutes. After 75 minutes and no food we went to the hostess to complain and she said sorry, but we’re busy. What? I asked her to send a manager over. One never came. We told the waitress we were leaving. She said the food was coming out. Two minutes later, the manager finally came over with the food and said he was comping the whole meal. That did us no good as we were on a time crunch at that point. The food - a club sandwich, a salad, grilled chicken, and pasta with cheese was inedible. We left and went to a fast food place and had a better meal there. This is absolutely a garbage restaurant that will rip you off. STAY. AWAY.
