The staff were very helpful and friendly. What disappointed was the food and the noise. We were an early evening booking and on arrival we were immediately struck by the noise from a large party and loud music. The staff were very good and gave us a table at the other end of the room. Squid starter was very large but tasteless. Melon and Parma ham was the best dish. Worst chicken salad, the dressing was like salad cream. My pasta was covered in an over salted sauce. We will not be back
Sette Pizzeria & TrattoriaResponded on 20 August 2026
Hi Maria, Andrew here. Thanks for the feedback. On the noise you're right — a large group in that evening, and it wasn't handled well on arrival. Apologies for that. On the food I'd respectfully disagree. The squid and the chicken salad are two of our most popular dishes, both made fresh in-house, and the Caesar dressing is the traditional recipe — sharper and more savoury than the bought-in versions. There's no salt added to any of our pasta sauces, but I'll have the kitchen check regardless. Glad the melon and Parma ham hit the mark. Taste is personal and I respect yours, but I stand behind our kitchen. Thanks for the kind words about the team — I'll pass them on. Andrew
