I had a wonderful dinner on a Monday night and liked it so much that I returned for dinner the following Wednesday. Perfect again. An original menu with delicious food and very nice atmosphere. What a treat to have it in my neighborhood.
This is a very special restaurant. Our most recent meal was overall not quite as "exquisite" as in the past. The menu changes regularly - which is wonderful - yet one dish can be truly exceptional while another falls slightly short of expectations.
Seven hills was an excellent meal.. the wine pairing was great for the price .
Pasta was homemade and deliciousness ..
it’s definitely a must try if your in Sf
The food was exquisite and the service as well. We would recommend this established to anyone visiting San Francisco.
Outstanding food, outstanding service, cozy neighborhood restaurant in a great location. It was a most enjoyable evening and we are anxious to return soon!
We had a wonderful dinner experience. Louis was spot on with his wine recommendation, and very attentive throughout our dinner. We had the best lamb ever! The buffalo mozzarella was delightful. Who am I kidding it was all locally sourced and to die for!
This is a another overly yelped-hyped restaurant. Yes, the food and the service are great. Any Denny's has better ambiance than this place. Maybe they are victims of their own success. Did you guys packed in the tables to get more costumers. A note: If I am going to spend $200 on dinner for two, I want tablecloths, and not having to lay down my silverware on a table of questionable cleanliness. I also want a degree of privacy, not having to listen to every word of the gripping conversation from my next-table neighbors.
A restaurant at this price point should pay attention to ALL details, not just the food.
Too loud! Stunning food; good service if a tad frazzled.
Consistency. I've been to Seven Hills quite a few times now and it's never disappointed. Instead of going for a starter, a salad, and entrees, we opted for three entrees and we couldn't have been more happy. The Syrah was delicious and complemented the dishes wonderfully. Service was on point, as always.
Seven Hills is always a special dining experience. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
Awesome food, intimate dining,
great service and full of charm.
Will be going back soon ♡
The whole experience from start to finish was awesome. Very cute, small, cozy restaurant with a nice ambiance for a date-night. Ordered the crab squid ink pasta special, their macheroncelli, and their fish for the day. Our favorite was the classic macheroncelli. It's amazing, the perfect amount of tangy tomato with a creamy but not heavy ricotta to cut it. Was delicious. The crab squid ink pasta was also fabulous. Their food had the right flavors, very well balanced, and we walked out incredibly happy. For desserrt we ordered the date cake, which was not too sweet or too-datey and had a nice soft but yet some crispy caramelized corners. Service was also attentive and great. We will be back!
Absolutely wonderful, everything about Seven Hills was outstanding. We arrived early as we did not want to be late and the accumulated is at the bar and reviewed the menu additions. Dinner was outstanding- I would most definitely recommend Seven Hills
Loved our meal tonight! Our waiter, Tony, was especially attentive and provided fantastic service. Our first dining experience with you and we will definitely be back the next visit to SF.
The brussels sprouts were really good and one of the pasta dishes was really tasty. I would get these dishes again. Overall a little pricey but they do have some good dishes.
Amazing nigh homemade pasta delicious
Love this place - the fresh pasta, the consistency and the recommendations from the waitress was amazing.
Seven Hills was phenomenal....the restaurant is a classic San Francisco style restaurant with amazing service and delicious meals.
Amazing food and terrific service. The bone marrow with the oxtail ragú appetizer is magnificently unique. We are foodies who eat fine food all over the world and we would definitely rate this restaurant five stars. JuanG
I loved it! It was a perfect scenery and just so calming and enjoyable, service was excellent and the food was amazing.
The food was so delicious. The Perigord truffle pasta was the best. It really was the way I imagined the truffle experience should be.
Seven Hills has the most fabulous food, they are always dependable. The menu is has so many great choices that I always want just about everything. Their pasta is to die for, whatever it is, you just cannot go wrong. The wait staff is efficient and friendly. We've recommended this restaurant to every foodie friend and everyone loves it.
Date night w/ girlfriend. Perfect setting.
The appetizers were good; I really liked the duck pate toast, but shaved Brussels sprouts salad was just ok for me. The seafood pasta was excellent, but I would suggest different sides for a lamb shank entree. Broccolini that came with it was too salty and spinach soggy. Desserts were not overly sweet which I liked although my favorite panacotta tasted slightly off. Chocolate mousse was excellent. Service was very attentive. I will come back to try more pastas.
This is one of the really great San Francisco neighborhood restaurants. Great food, nice folks, interesting wine list. Parking is a bit of a challenge in the vicinity. Love the place.
Always one of our favorite places in San Francisco. Seven Hills has a 'neighborhood' place feel, but with premier cuisine and service. Try different things from the menu as they do a great job blending the tastes to hit a high note, no matter what you order.
Wonderful service, delicious, fresh food. Brussel sprouts salad was fresh, and the date cake for dessert unbelievable. Wide selection of wines. Highly recommend.
Incredible and simply sumptuous in ever way!!!
Outstanding cuisine..... incredibly talented chef and team!!
The entire family at the front of the house are
Excellent food and service. Can get a bit loud but the quality of the food and service is outstanding.
Seven Hills is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants in SF. The food and service are always excellent.
A wonderful dinner!
Genius and BRILLIANT!!! You will be Instantly addicted!!!!
So good. Every time I go, I like all the dishes. You can't go wrong sharing pastas.
It was a wonderful delicious meal.
Excellent restaurant in every way. If we lived in the neighborhood, we would be here every week.
Food and service was exceptional! Tony was attentive and made our experience wonderful, thank you!
Cozy neighborhood spot in romantic part of City. The service is excellent--courteous, kind, & real (not stuffy). The food was solid. Love that pasta is homemade. The menu is solid. There's nothing super adventurous about it, that being said the food is good. And their Venetian Spritz is a great starter to a meal (if you're into an Aperol-style taste profile). Ask for a window seat (tho all seats in the resto are good).
This was our first visit but definitely will not be our last! Despite a mishap with Open Table, the owner Alexis made it right for us and we were delighted when we got to the restaurant he served us some champagne as a gesture of good will. The food was outstanding especially the meatballs (to die for). The mushroom torttalini was some of the best I ever ate! My husband also enjoyed the appetizer pate too. We look forward to our next visit in San Francisco and especially a return meal at Seven Hills. I’ve already told many people how delicious it is and hope they enjoy it as well.
Great pasta! We had a whole fish that was good, but not great.
Excellent food — great place!! Great wine list. Great specials! The pasta with truffles was divine.
Disappointing given reviews. Pasta undersauced, undercooked and over priced. Fish special nicely done but a tiny portion for the $30 price. Seating tight. Interesting wine list.
