The restaurant offers both cozy booths and intimate tables for couples, as well as a communal sharing table, casual counter dining and a private dining room seating 16.
Amazing food and service. Everything was completely faultless. Can't wait to come back.
Having been to Bone Daddies for ramen, I knew that the food was going to be excellent. The setting is a bit more formal (no need to share tables for group noodle-slurping) but still very relaxed and comfortable. For dinner we ordered a selection of the izakaya-style dishes and a few bao for sharing. Delicious! Also had several bottles of sake to accompany the food. Whole bill was pleasantly inexpensive -- around £55/person. Definitely coming back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch here. The service was really good - attentive, friendly, and our glasses were always full! It was good value for money as we both left absolutely stuffed and after a good amount of booze! The food was delicious, could have happily just eaten the small plates and not had a big meal. The desert was honestly the best ever, I didn't want it to end and will definitely have to return even if just for that!
I loved the place. Unfortunately we made a 22:00 reservstion therefore the employees needed to close the restaurant in a hurry to head home. Personally I got a bit stressed seeing everyone packing up the place and me eating. Also the food came all at once, a bit overwelming as well. I felt like I needed to hurry up. Hence the minor letdown from the ambience and service. Overall definitely recommend and will rivisit; just a bit earlier in the evening!
Very noisy and slow service. Nice food but overpriced.
Some of the best food i've ever eaten. The noise level is perfect too
Food was absolutely delicious highly recommend. Will definitely be returning.
We were recommended by a friend, and our experience was just perfect. Mixing Mediterranean (Spanish) meat and giving it a Japanese twist results in a perfect combination. Also, we were attended by a Spanish lady from Palencia, that made the whole experience personalised and fun.
Will definitely come back many times.
Fantastic food and staff. Manager went above and beyond to allow us longer time at our table when she realised we had a reunion going on. Food is always top level.
Only downside is noise levels as most people want to talk but are competing against music system, so can be a bit difficult to hear when busy.
Food was incredible but service not great. Restaurant half empty at 4.30 but hassled to leave after our allotted time. Would've had a coffee but they don't do any!!!
After hearing Ed Gamble and James Acaster talk enthusiastically about Shack-Fuyu on their "Off Menu" podcast, it's been on my list.
I can honestly say that their Iberico Pork Pluma is one of the best things I've ever tasted - so soft and tender. Really mouth-watering. I fell into complete silence because I was so impressed by it. Their signature Kinako French toast (see photo) is also very tasty, and a great way to end the meal.
I will say that I was not a fan of their Burnt Cauliflower side dish. I thought it was quite bland. This could be a question of taste though.
It's a lively restaurant, so not a great place if you want a quiet, intimate night out. However, if you're looking for an energetic atmosphere, then I would recommend it. There was lots of laughter and clinking of glasses.
Stuffily told we would have to leave our table at a certain time, ok the London way, but communicated ungraciously on arrival.
The problem being we had not received are food until after that time.
Went for the set menu which was badly signposted so didn't know which dish was which and sometimes you got 1,2 or 3 dishes of each dish (we were a party of 3) - weird.
Food was okish, experience was poor, loads of good alternatives which will service you both better food and experience.
We had a fantastic meal for two and will definitely return to try more!
Food was outstanding, but service lacked. Hopefully just a one off due to a busy evening. Would definitely go again purely for the food.
Food was excellent, Korean chicken wings particularly delicious but all dishes of high quality. Service a bit rushed but overall a great meal
Fantastic restaurant. The food and ambience were great. We will return!
The dessert is a must. Pork and beef sukiyaki is so delicious.
Delicious brunch and attentive service. We had a blast!
My absolute favorite restaurant in London so far! Incredible food!
Really wonderful food, nicely presented. Great service and a good atmosphere
Everything was delicious, it was an excellent eating experience.
Amazing food, the pork bar buns and the french toast for dessert were particularly good
The food was incredible. Would have liked to try more of it, but was too full. Should consider doing smaller bao but in servings of two as people like to share this kind of food.
Just wonderful! Great service, amazing food and just all in all a brilliant evening!
Staff were amazing, loved how they always top up your glass for the brunch. Food was average and overpriced.
My favourite restaurant in Soho. Great array of sharing plates, fun vibes, good drinks and incredible dessert!
Superb service from young Asian guy (Friday 15th - 5.30pm)
Delicious food, unexpected at times, great service and would strongly recommend. One of my favourites.
Fantastic food and loved being in one of the booths. despite there being a time limit we were never rushed. Bill can easily rack up - you'll want to try everything on the menu and it's not the cheapest
Best “bi-bim-bap” I know. Called hot-stone rice in there.
I went to the Sunday brunch. Amazing food and lots to drink for not that much money. The food is so good! I've been there twice and wow. Service is a bit slow in the beginning which might be to prevent people for ordering too much food.
My only complaint is that the restaurant is extremely loud, and it's difficult to speak to people sitting across from you without shouting. It's not the music, it's the design of the restaurant walls and ceiling and the closeness of the tables.
Incredible food as always and a great vibe, having been a number of times before we weren't let down! Our friends had never been before and were blown away by the food. The yuzu margherita's are also a favourite!
The food is incredible. Everything we had was amazing - particular highlights being the tuna tacos, katsu sando and the beef bavette 🤤
Slow service. Mains came out at very different times. 10 mins between the first hot stone rice and the other 2.
The food was appalling. Ordered the rabbit Katsu but the curry didn’t taste remotely like it. It’s just a sour piece of mess, although the actual rabbit was deliciously tender so I guess that’s ok.. the fish was salty and they even ruined sushi...we ordered soft shell crab maki and it just tasted like nothing. The rice was warm, somehow the carrots and pickle didn’t even have any taste..just a mush! The only redeeming quality was the chicken wings but the rest...wat?? We were so confused why there were so many people here.
Another thing, booked the table for 7.30. Didn’t seat us till 7.50 and they kept seating people behind us? Maybe they have set seating but obviously not a good system.
One of the waiter assumed my friend was Chinese and said “Xie Xie” which is thank you in mandarin...Never assume people’s ethnicity please...especially as an Asian fusion restaurant and located in London, which is full of culture!!!
Food was absolutely fantastic.
Service however was shocking. On arrival despite having booked literally for given the worst seat in the house in narrowly squeezed in between two other tables, despite they’re being loads of free tables available with more room. Never in my life have I had to tell a waiter to slow slow down. Kept coming over every couple of mins to see what plates he could take away. Felt like he was trying to get us out of there within 45 mins. Really tainted a nice catch up with my dad.
Ambience was fairly basic, could offer so much more I’d done right.
Delicious, really enjoyed it. Especially the salmon taco which we had to have twice!
The service was really bad and slow. It’s a shame as the food is really good
Service was great! We had the taster menu and that was good for 2 people who were not very hungry, but if we hungry I think it would have been a bit too small.
