Sharpies Detroit Style Pizza + Cocktail Bar is located in the Elston Corridor. Expect big comfy booths and a friendly bar featuring custom galactic interior installations, not to mention quarter munching video games like NBA Jam and TMNT.

Try a classic Detroit style pie, The Moon Walk "1969" (classic cheese), the Pepperoni Pile-Up or one of our Sharpies creations such as the Onion Eclipse or Sweet + Salty Space Candy featuring bacon, pineapple, sambal, and goat cheese.

Located near the Salt Shed, our pizzas cook quick and are the perfect pre or post-show dinner. Our signature draft cocktail system is expertly designed to keep drinks well mixed and hyper-chilled and coming fast!

Great spot to hang before a salt shed event. Food and drinks are solid. The prices can feel a bit steep for what it is, but would still go back for an event.

Sharpies is a pleasant surprise. A bit off the beaten track in the sense that there are no other restaurants nearby, but there is parking and they are right on Clybourn. The pizza is Detroit style. We started with cocktails that were delicious, but know that they do not have a full bar. I believe the cocktails are premixed. For an appetizer, the kale caesar salad was tasty. We got the Sharpie's Beef pizza, which includes giardiniera, and we enjoyed it very much. The decor is retro/space/cartoon, which we found fun. There are a couple of stand up arcade games to add to the retro feel. Would recommend you give them a try.

It was pretty empty for a Sunday afternoon which was great, and the food was delicious. We were nervous to try some of the drinks so it was nice to have the miniature sips instead of committing to a larger glass.

Other than the limited lack of cocktails (all draft, limited wine selection), Sharpies is a great option for pizza outside of tavern and deep dish. The restaurant was accommodating, staff was friendly, and our pizzas were delicious - would recommend making this your pre-Salt Shed destination for light crowds and delicious food.

We came to Sharpies before a YellowCard show at salt shed. Perfect nostalgic laser tag pizza place vibes. Food was rich and delicious. Cocktails were very thoughtful with many subtle flavors that blended beautifully. Highly recommend, wish we wouldve had time to play the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade game in the back!

Just know that all the cocktails are draft cocktails, they don’t have any other drinks outside of those and can’t / don’t make mixed drinks. Pizza is amazing! More of a family vibe No TVs for sports was disappointing.
