   We had a very nice table and our server was outstanding. The food was great as we ordered a few things and shared them all. Highly recommend this restaurant.

   We were sitting down for over 40 minutes before our food was brought over. Prior to that, the waiter came over and asked us what we ordered 30 min after he had taken our orders the first time. I received the wrong entree and didn’t even care because we just wanted to eat and leave because it was so loud. When we finished eating and asked for the check, the waiter came back and tried to take our order again! He looked at us as if we hadn’t been sitting there for over an hour. When we told him we were trying to leave he goes “Ooohh.” Definitely not a place we’ll be returning to. Not worth it at all.

   Servers had no personality. Other staff were friendly. Fast service for cocktails bring delivered by staff other than server. Was charged for a side that was supppose to come with the sandwich

   Had brunch to catch up with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. Food was great. Server was patient and accommodating to my allergies. Only downsides were sitting outside in the direct sunlight - it was too windy for umbrellas. Towards the end of our meal, a strong gust of wind also swept up a bunch of dirt and debris that was notable in our water glasses. Overall, would definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

   everything was great and staff were super nice! they moved a table outside for us since outdoor tables were full! food tasted great and wasn’t too expensive! definitely recommend this place!

    Great neighborhood spot with wonderful food/drink choices. Their salads/bowls were satisfying & specialty drinks hit the spot! Watch out for spicy ranch dressing on chicken sandwich: it was smoking hot🙃 Best option: not in a sandwich , choose on greens and/or with brown rice & lentils. Or just order an extra Shady lady or margarita!

    Great fried chicken! Drinks are also delicious. The portions are pretty decent for lunch. Fries can be better (crispier). The servers were very friendly - loved the atmosphere! A bit pricy but the overall quality is good.

    Had a whole chicken with fries and garlic bread. The garlic bread was a bit odd with cheese that only barely melted and and whole pieces of garlic cooked onto around it. But the chicken and fries were great!

    Our family had great time at Shy Bird as usual. Kids love the menu, there is always something for adults to enjoy as well, and draft IPA was excellent. Service awesome as always.

    Feels like you’re in a hotel lobby coffee shop. Pick your own table, take a number. Breakfast sandwiches very disappointing, don’t compare to offerings at chains like Flour or Tatte. No outdoor seating, all packed up on a perfect day. Fruit plate was very good. Not sure why this is on open table when it’s counter service!

    Fantastic meal. Piri Piri Chicken, 1/2 chicken, chicken sandwich, sb dunks, cucumber salad, fries. Chicken was moist & tasty. Loved the drinks, feel like they took great pride in concocting the drinks. Friendly good service & nice vibe

    This was a good choice for a casual meal with a unique taste. Of course, the fried chicken pieces were juicy and flavorful. Honestly the coating could have been crispier. The cucumbers were good - I make more flavorful ones though - they should add onions and sweetener. The Harrissa bowl was terrific! The Carrot Ginger soup was also terrific. Beer choices are plentiful. We would certainly go back. There is outdoor dining.

    I keep trying so hard to love Shy Bird, but it just isn't doing it for me. The food menu is limited with a decent range. The cocktail doesn't inspire, but they have an impressive array of zero-proof drinks; you can tell someone really put thought into them. The food... it seems there is always "too much" of something. The salmon and vegetables were in soy sauce soup, nothing to mellow the pungent soy flavor. The marinated olives aren't anything to write home about. The cucumber salad didn't seem to have any seasoning, it was just cucumbers marinated in vinegar, making for a sharp taste without relief. Dessert is a disappointment. The menu is sincerely lacking. The one cookie is on the small side and comes lonely on its own. The ice cream sandwich is a giant scoop of ice cream between two of the aforementioned cookies. Unlike a typical ice cream sandwich though, the cookies were frozen hard and impossible to bite into or cut without squishing out all of the ice cream. I will go back, reluctantly, because it's convenient and the patio is pretty much the bomb. But I won't pay for cocktails or appetizers, or for dessert. Although I cannot speak from experience I've heard good things about the Mac and Cheese. I anticipate it tasting like a cheesy salt lick, but I will give it a try. That's how much I want to love Shy Bird.

    Food was great, as always. Greeters we’re very nice and welcoming. We were seated, then waited over 15 minutes before our server showed up. Just in time as we had just stood up and were about to go find a manager to locate our server. Her excuse was she had a “hair malfunction in the back”, then said “well I’m here now, what can I get for you”. We ordered 4 drinks, 2 appetizers and 4 entrees. The appetizers showed up AFTER our entrees as did our drinks, with the exception that we only received 3 drinks and had to reorder the 4th. Halfway through the meal, the children drinks were completely empty and it took quite a while for our server to show up again and take another drink order, which then took a long time to arrive. We usually receive good service, however last night was the worst. I understand it’s hard to find people that want to work right now, but this server definitely needs some training.
