Have been here many times and it has never disappointed. Food is good and so is the atmosphere. Great for business casual type meetings and for dates.
Not bad. Truffles and Parmesan are all over the menu (not a bad thing) but the food is a little under-seasoned for them not to put salt and pepper on tables.
Overall a nice place, but nothing blew me away.
The food, wine and overall service was great. We went for my girlfriend’s birthday and they brought out complimentary cupcake flavored gelato which isn’t on the menu.
The food and service was fantastic! The decor and ambiance is very modern and clean. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.
Our waitress was a true professional, the drinks were tasty, and the food was delicious
We went for a casual Saturday lunch. We had a picky group and our server got everything right. Food was all really good - burger cooked perfectly, gnocchi delicious, hamachi crudo also very good. My only complaint is that the crudo is $16 for a very small portion.
Each of the 5 of us that were there for brunch got something different, and we all loved everything we got. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.
Great restaurant! They were running behind with our table but kept us informed and were apologetic. Waiter was fun, knowledgeable and prompt. When they brought out a wrong antipasti, they comped the mistake. Food was good. A bit money than the $ say on sites so plan accordingly. Will come here again!
Service and food was outstanding. Great job!!
Excellent Food, service and ambiance!
Our table wasn’t ready at the time of our reservation, so when we sat down the manager apologized and brought us two free appetizers
Short rib was really very good. Sat us early from our original reservation time which was great but when we walked in to see about being seated early there was NO way it would happen. Need smoother logistics.
This is my second time to Siena tavern and tried all new items (except the carbonara in a jar, too good to pass up. Tried the burrata, beet salad, scallops and of course the carbonara. Then for desert had the amazing Olive Oil Cake and it was absolutely amazing!!!
Wonderful meal and service! Had great recommendations from my waiter Lucas that did not disappoint. Definitely coming back here.
Had weekend in Chicago with my 23 year old son. We sat at the bar and shared the 92oz Porterhouse for two. It came out on a sizzling platter, sliced off the bone for us. It was fantastic. A foursome of football fans was sitting next to us and ended up ordering it as well. Bartender attention was just right. Will definately go again.
Great meal and service was spectacular
Food and staff are always amazing. We love going here several times a year. The 45 Minute drive is totally worth it!!!
Great food, way too loud, ok service
Lively place, food delicious, service excellent: we really enjoyed our meal.
We love this place. Great ambience and really great food. We were in the mood for a salad during lunch as well as pizza. Our waiter told us one of the best salads is the chopped salad. My wife and I would have to disagree. Probably one of the most bland salads I’ve ever had in my life. The only way they can make it a good salad is if they offer you salad dressings that actually would make it taste like something. The spicy pepperoni pizza however is fantastic. Overall, we still love this restaurant but we’re just a bit dismayed that the chopped salad was pushed amongst all the other salads as the one to eat.
Fantastic food and cocktails as always. Service wasn’t super attentive but it was a busy Friday evening. Would highly recommend cocktail #2 and the caramel cookie jar.
Excellent Italian fare, perfectly executed and beautifully presented; competent and friendly service. The handcrafted cocktails are often quite unconventional and very tasty. They are well worth the money. The wines, on the other hand, suffer from mark-ups that are way too high.
The food was incredible!! Our server was very knowledgeable. The restaurant is beautiful. All of the pasta is homemade and that is evident! We would love to go back!
our fave restaurant in Chicago. Waitstaff is always super friendly and overly attentive. Ask your server for suggestions - they are all really passionate and knowledgeable and we have found some great dishes with their help. Proteins are fantastic but the pasta dishes are where this place really shines. in a city with thousands of choices we keep coming back here because every time is better than the last!
We started at the bar and the bartender was less than friendly but made up for it with a very good Old Fashioned. Our waiter was great, made food suggestions that were spot on. We had the burrata which was fabulous, then shared the mushroom pizza and duck confit risotto. Great flavor combos, very delicious!
I went there with my significant other on New Years Eve. The lamp chops and brussels sprouts were charred and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were also delicious. I would highly recommend - great for dates and special occasions.
Siena Tavern has fantastic food and courteous service.
My wife and I went here for dinner on New Years Eve. Fantastic food and beverage menu. Expensive but definitely worth the price. They have some options that aren’t too pricey. Great location. And our server Brock was excellent
Went on NYEve. Should have expected getting rushed out in order to turn over the table. They called me the day before to confirm my 6:30 reservation and make sure I knew that I had to be out by 8:00 PM!!! That has never happened to me before. My wife's appetizer came to the table 10 minutes before mine and before we had ordered our main dinners! They need chef Ramsey to drop a few F bombs on them.
Drinks were amazing!!!
Luke our server really went above and beyond for us. Truly enjoyed our experience and Luke was a large part of it. Thank you,
Don’t expect to be comfortable if you weigh over 100 lbs.
Perfect food and great service
Absolutely amazing. Our initial motivation to dine at Siena Tavern was the fruit of watching the victory on Beat Bobby Flay. I can’t even explain how pleased we all (party of 6) were with our meals, drinks and atmosphere. Two of us are gluten free and the menu options were phenomenal. Thank you for an exceptional dining experience! Everything about our evening was excellent and we cannot wait to return!
Exceptional service and food, the only disappointment was our table. We requested a booth and were told there wasn’t any, but we could see booths open. When we inquired with the hostess on our way to the table she basically ignored us.
Overall, a great dining experience in Chicago
The wait staff was very nice and professional. Knew what was celiac friendly and was very prepared as per my reservation request
Amazing pasta and desserts
Went for a holiday brunch with family. I have always enjoyed this restaurant but we were all disappointed this time (well 5 out of 6 of us). I ordered the lobster hash which included far too many bits of shell and corn silks (I understand that everything is made fresh but this was ridiculous). Two in my group ordered avocado toast and eggs. The extra thick toast halves were impossible to cut or bite, rendering it basically inedible. The salmon platter was a big hit while the other 2 were just okay. Unfortunately, we’ll cross this off our brunch list for now.
Nice brunch with a wide range of selections. Great brunch cocktail - Siena Spritz.
Fabulous food and service!! Can't wait to go back. We were seated promptly and our server Mike was great in offering suggestions and answering questions. Very attentive but not annoying!
