Very cool experience with a very limited menu so check it out prior to arrival. Service was very good with the exception of the hostess who seemed annoyed to have to go outside. Would recommend the whole fried chicken. It is enough for 2-3 people. They do add an automatic gratuity to any bill. The view and experience was well worth the money
The service was impeccable. The food was not up to par. Had the ribs and truth be told as big as they were there was little meat on the bones and the ribs were tough. I expect ribs to fall off the bone and not have to fight to scrape them off the bone. The cornbread was stale. But the view and service we had was impeccable. The also have a heater in the igloo but you either need more than 1 I would say 3 or 4 if you plan on having 6 people in the tent or different heaters.
Overall for ambiance and view I would come back. If it were for the food I would not.
We attended brunch on a Sunday to celebrate my birthday. The ambience was nice even with raining conditions. Each igloo has a heater and blankets so we were comfortable.
The food and drinks we good. I will definitely visit again and would recommend this restaurant to others. Even the inside dining space was nice and everyone was 6ft apart.
My family and I celebrated my birthday and we had a wonderful time. It was beautiful, safe and out server was the best! The hostesses were so kind, all in all we can’t wait to go back!
The hostess Stalin was super attentive to us when we arrived to wait for the rest of our party. We booked an igloo for the night. Our waiter Rahat was friendly and it was my first time here , he was very helpful with his suggestion. We loved everything he had suggested. Great ambiance and Rahat had allowed us to play music in our igloo. The plate we ordered was to share and was yummy! Definitely would come again!!!
Although we lucked out with a sunny day and appreciate that the igloos were heated, it was WAY TOO HOT to sit still. Other than that everything was great! Drinks, menu, service and overall ambiance were all fabulous. Will definitely recommend and go back again.
Love love love loved this place!!
Love your restaurant, my wife and I , feel this is gonna be be your local spot. We will be back. I the only thing worth with the snow gloves, even though your staff did good with coming around asking if we are ok, it would be nice if there was someone outside to watch and see if anyone needed anything. There were time we had to wait for someone to come when we needed something. Given we are spending more then $250, you should be able to get what you need at a reasonable time. Also it was brunch and it wasn’t packed. All in all the staff is amazing and friendly. The food fills your soul can’t wait our next visit.
This is our second time at NoHu Rooftop and our first experience with the Snow Globes. which we loved by the way.
We went to an 11AM Brunch only to be told as we were going to our table that there was no alcohol until 12 NOON. I mentioned to the hostess I wish they had told me that in advance. They certainly reminded me enough that there was a $250 minimum. She made no response. We were also reminded that we needed to leave the table in 2 hours. Well, it took 40 minutes for our coffee and Virgin Marys to arrive and they hadn't even taken our order at that point. We were also disappointed that a menu item wasn't available - steak and eggs. One of our party had planned on that item. How can they be out it when the restaurant opened at 11AM? We mentioned this to the hostess about the delay we experienced and said that should be taken into consideration about our departure time - Nope - the hostess appeared at 1PM asking if we had our check. While our server, Anthony, was very pleasant, it appeared that there were not enough servers and staff. I don't know if we will try it again. Very disappointing
way to expensive for the food and drinks. 3 things on the menu to choose from, drinks were a bit too sugary, waiter was great, igloo was warm. Def not worth a $1000 check for 6 people though
Great amazing place
Love the attention, the manager took well care of us.
Will come back 100%
Food was delicious view was great of that nyc skyline service was Phenomenal
It was extremely cold and they only had one little heater
The Snowglobes at Nohu Rooftop was the perfect ambiance for the event! Great staff! Wonderful waiter! Food was amazing! It was a very very cold night and while we tried to brave the cold, we lasted an hour! The staff was so accommodating and moved us into a wonderful breakfast room that was very warm! The food was amazing! The drinks were good. Our pictures were amazing! The Snowglobes were great as they are heated and we were provided with 2 cozy blankets! I do wish there were 2 heaters in the globe but it was just a very windy night so that’s beyond the restaurant’s control. Overall, we look forward to returning in the warmer months! We want to sit by the fire pits and enjoy great company’s JD great food/drinks! Thank you for being such a wonderful hosts for our special event!
When we entered the Igloo was extremely cold. Minimum was $250 that was fine but for the item we went for the OYSTERS was out of stock. Jambalaya was not at all what it should be , all the rice was raw. It lacked service , cocktails we not even cold as it should be.
For a celebrity chef restaurants who Judges on tv shows and to have such low standard food was shame.
VERY slow service
I chose the igloos at Nobu for my husband’s birthday and due to covid we wanted to limit contact with others. The venue is beautiful however the igloos are really not a good option for just 2 people when it’s 24 degrees outside, although I’m not sure having 5 or 6 people would have made much of a difference. The igloos are just a thin piece of plastic over a frame- beautiful, but there’s nothing insulating it. Nonetheless my husband and I were freezing throughout our dinner and ended up huddling around the space heater just to warm our numb hands and feet. The food was great but hard to enjoy when we were so cold. We left before dessert because we couldn’t stand the cold anymore!
I would not recommend this for a cold winter day, but it’s a great option when it’s maybe above 40 or 50 degrees outside. Also the view of the NYC skyline in general is gorgeous however we could barely see it from our igloo so that was a little disappointing as well.
