Excellent service and attention to questions asked. Regular checking in with clients while there. Food well plated in appearance, good portions and delicious. A menu for all pallets and pricing choices.

We were greated with a smile and hello. Our table was ready and already set with menus etc. Almost immediately, a server arrived with water. Very shortly after that, our server arrived and gave us her name. The food arrived very quickly, and was served hot. In all, an excellent experience. It won't be our last.

The portions were very small for the price. I had Cajun chicken but it didn't have much flavour. Our server was nice. My husband's steak was very chewy. We won't be returning.

State + Main is by far the best place to go out to eat in Barrhaven! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is beautiful & every single time my family goes the service is outstanding.

We were on the patio as I felt to sit indoors it would have been too loud however our seat on the patio was just under a speaker thankfully the music wasn’t too crazy . It was quite quiet as I think there was to be a tasting menu for a wedding or I am sure the ambiance would have been very enjoyable. My husband too the miso cod but felt it wasn’t as well cooked as he would have liked and also felt there were too many greens on his plate. He had bang bang shrimps to start really enjoyed them and there was a large portion but he did expect them to be more spicy than they were . We thought we were in time for some if the happy hour as our table was booked for 4.30 but when the bill arrived everything was charged at the full price. Overall we would go back this was our first visit.

Food, service and decor/tables/chairs were top notch. It was a little loud when we arrived (music, etc.), but acceptable. It got exponentially louder as more people arrived, to the point where our group of five could barely hear each other. Not sure anything can be done about this, but just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a quiet place to have dinner. This is not the place.
