Simply excellent. The cauliflower soup was phenomenal, and. the margarita pizza was cooked perfectly. The service was attentive without being overbearing. An overall excellent experience. We highly recommend Stokes Adobe as an incredible value.

Superb! All around...the chicken and halibut were outstanding. The chocolate boudin for desert is next level and can't be missed if you love chocolate. We were visiting but would absolutely by regulars here if we were residents.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The interior is very well designed and the service was very good, however, the food was disappointing. The menu choices are limited and are no vegetarian or pescatarian options. The server did say they had a vegan option, "sauteed vegetables" - which, seemed like an afterthought, lacked creativity and was not appealing. The halibut, the only fish entree option, had bacon - thus making it not an option for a pescatarian. Forced to order a starter for my entree, the yellowfin crudo was tough (poor cut of fish) and the only thing you could taste was the overuse of Tajin. The drinks and salad were good but other than that, the food was very disappointing. Needless to say, unless the menu and food were to significantly change, we will not be returning or recommending Stokes Adobe.

Went there to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. Was absolutely perfect. From our greeting to our table, the amazing service and the out of the world meal. We enjoyed the super fresh halibut and succulent pork chop-just a memory making evening. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Most exquisite meal I’ve had in a long time. Ambience just authentic historical and very cool. Servers so professional discrete and really efficient. If there was six stars, I’d give it.

I think the restaurant may have had a bad night, but they could have been better. It seems that training is an issue. The waiter didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine. Perhaps the food sat too long under heat lamps, but the halibut was dry, and the pesto/greens that accompanied it were not good. I recommend rethinking this dish. The server was attentive and responded very well to our issues. This is a beautiful building in a beautiful city. I hope to be able to give it another chance, but it won’t be for awhile.

Fantastic venue in the heart of beautiful Monterrey, California. From the vibey cocktail experience with one of the best bartenders in the US (Manny from Mexico City) to the seasonal produce and local seafood, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Despite the meal being quite enjoyable, there was a strong thread of richness across every dish. I found the Hamachi Crudo and the scallops from the starter menu to be heavy handed with sauces that felt too heavy for the delicate seafood. The broccoli cheddar salad was also dense with the delicious Caesar dressing, which was a little overpowering and didn't allow much of the broccoli's brightness to shine through.

Once again beautiful meal! It’s always such a treat to eat at Stokes and it’s perfect for date night. Their new stone fruit crudo was excellent the marcona almonds provided the perfect texture and the stone fruit was just delightful in its ripeness. Genius idea. I usually get the steak but decided on trying their handmade Cavatelli pasta! The snap peas were so fresh and the Parmesan cheese grated on top was the icing on the cake. Something about the simplicity of this pasta was heavenly. My boyfriend had the pork chop for the second time and just adores the cherry tomatoes, green olives accompaniment to the pork chops. I had the chicken for the first time and that Marsala sauce is no joke it’s perfect. Too long didn’t read everything about the dishes at stokes are simple in the best way and full of remarkable flavor. Such a great meal!
