I ordered Medium rare filet, it was served rare and sent back. It was returned still rare a few minutes later. Similar experience for a friend dining with us.
Halibut fish of the day was dry and over cooked. Tuna Poke shooters on appetizer menu were very weak, not worth the money. No one asked if we enjoyed them, or seemed to care if we did not.
Service at dinner was acceptable but not anything special.
As always the service was nice. Our food took a little longer than usual and the manager came over and apologized for the wait and gave us a full explanation as to why? Though we understood and made no complaints he provided us with unexpected comps which were a surprise to us. We love this place and again we maintain this restaurant to be our favorite go to spot.
We ate at the bar last night. Through the entire evening we had a very disrespectful patron behind us. The bartender and manager did nothing to improve the situation knowing this behavior was going on. They engaged and joked with the patron. We went to use our OpenTable gift certificate at the end of the evening and the manager was annoyed that we were using the credit and allowed the patron behind us to mimic and use vulgar offensive language especially aimed at women.
Have never been to such a poor environment for what was suppose to be a nice dinner.
Calamari and Steaks were excellent. side dishes and desserts were good but nothing special.
Not worth the money and dark stuffy atmosphere. Wouldn't go again.
We always enjoyed Sullivan's more than the other nearby steakhouses such as Morton's, Ruth Chris, etc. However, they have changed their menu and even some items that remain on the menu are different. As an example, their side dish of mushrooms were once just Portobella caps and used to be just delicious. That has changed and it isn't nearly as good. Their plain cheese cake was delicious and now has changed to a strawberry cheesecake which two of us didn't order because we aren't particularly fond of strawberries. It was a good but not great experience.
We had a lovely evening with delicious food and superb service. The extra special details that were made for our Anniversary made this experience quite memorable.
Food and cocktails were yummy as always. Server was good but sometimes disappeared for awhile at times
Sullivans is a favorite of mine .. it never disappoints
My wife and I celebrated our 50'th Wedding Anniversary at Sullivan's in King of Prussia, PA. They had reserved a special table to set the mood. Our waitress very attentive from the time we sat down until we left. Just a fantastic experience with regard to all phases of our meal.
If this was a Ruby Tuesday/Denny's/Chili's it would have been an okay time. Since it is Sullivan's it was pretty poor service. As for the food, everything else was reduced in quality with the exception of the steak. The server was inattentive her personality vacant.
It was my tenth wedding anniversary and we wrote that in our reservation. You'd think they'd at least it would be acknowledged. It wasn't like we asked for free anything. Just be nice and keep the service special like it was in all the other years of coming here. All of the staff overall appeared to be running differently overall. No floor managers. We could see the cooks wiping sweat off their brows with their bare hands and continuing to cook.
While I've had worst dining elsewhere, I pay more to come here to get the atmosphere, food and enjoyable staff. All of that seems to have come to an end.
Service was excellent.
Too dark/dimly lit in the dining room. We had to use the flashlight app on our cell phones in order to read the menu.
My wife mentioned that the lobster didn’t taste good and that her steak was too chewy.
We loved the calamari.
Great service, great food, relaxed atmosphere that allows for an enjoyable meal. Had a nice time celebrating with a birthday dinner and the chocolate dome for dessert was simply an amazing way to end!
I had wonderful service and everything was delicious.
I was very pleased with the dining experience. The food and the service was great.
Live presentations live menu presentation it is back!
Mackenzie our server was great. This was our first time there. Food was excellent.
Food was really just ok, lacked flavor and the ribeye was tough even ordered med rare. Value Not close to the price point.
Seated at booth after requesting. Server very attentive without hovering over us. Food was served red hot with steaks cooked exactly as ordered. Very good dining experience.
Food was excellent as always. Server was great just a little slow. And they kept the room a little too dark for my liking. But overall excellent. Sullivans never disappoints!
Great service and terrific food...made my husband’s bday very special!!!!
We've dined here before but this time we had a super-early dinner. We received the same warm greeting and exemplary service as always. Our meal was flavorful and we savored every bite. Then, dessert came and we were blown-away! Highly recommend this 1st class dining experience.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Sullivans. My son started with the Ahi tuna appetizer, which he enjoyed but said the sauce served under the tuna was too spicy. My husband & I each had the wedge salad, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sullivan’s has the best Blue Cheese dressing I have ever tasted...not too thick with a high quality blue cheese. My son & I shared the 12 oz. filet which was slightly undercooked but our server had us cut into the steak when she brought it to the table & they were able to cook it more without a wait. My son had the cheesecake for dessert. I prefer the banana bread pudding, as I feel it is a more special dessert. They have a nice wine list, although pricey by the glass. Our server, Heather was both accommodating & attentive. A very satisfying dining experience.
My husband was the only one to enjoy his meal (lobster tail). Our waiter forgot to bring bread for the table and took too long to come back to checking with us. I had the prime rib which was very fatty and had very little flavor. Even the garlic mashed potatoes were bland. My daughter had the rack of lamb which was a little over cooked. The bananas foster bread pudding was delicious, but a little rich with the caramel sauce (I definitely should have gotten the ice cream to go along with it). My husband and daughter loved the key lime pie.
It used to be a special experience for us to go to Sullivan’s but not this time. Very disappointed in the changes.
Chaotic, terrible food, overpriced, it's a tourist trap. Stay away
Our last two visits to Sullivans have been a bit disappointing. I had the bone in ribeye, and it was tough. Not worth the $50 I thought. Service wasn't great either. Bread came after salads, had to wait for steak knives to be delivered after our main course was delivered. Small items, but I think we'll move on to other places going forward.
Our first and last time...food was good (despite burnt baked potatoes and terrible “key lime” pie) but service was terrible; 3 hours for a steak dinner? Didn’t explain the menu, slow with taking order, brought the wrong wine, long delay in entrees, cold cappuccino and then a manager came over and told me I dropped my credit card on the floor when I had given it to the waiter to pay the bill! Not worth the money at all - won’t be back!
As always, service and meal are awesome! We make a point to be here almost once a month!
The food and the service were average. Not worth the price.
The steak I ordered was very small and the taste was no better than what I could cook myself. Also, the fries came out over salted (I returned them). I will definitely not be returning. It was not worth the cost. I have experienced much better value at Mortons.
Again, the food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I would expect much better service for such an expensive restaurant. They need to take lessons from the restaurant next door.
Staff was very attentive
Ramon, our server, was outstanding. He was attentive, timely and very engaging. He was knowledgeable about all menu items and wines we asked about. The caesar salads were perfectly dressed and the parmesan cheese/bread crouton delicious. Our filets were cooked as ordered and tasty. Our desserts were the best! Chocolate Sensation was a chocolate lover’s dream and the Nutella creme brulee a sumptuous take on the classic spread. We live in Raleigh, NC and have been to Sullivan’s there several times. This experience exceeded any we had at that location.
The food is always excellent, seasoned exactly right. This is my go to restaurant for special occasions.
Don’t go there if you have a large party Of over 10 it took over five hours to be served our meal . When served it was lukewarm. I will not be going back
Great food, excellent service, a little bit too loud.
It was quiet and subdued but I enjoyed this. The food was delicious however the filet was actually cooked to medium rare instead of medium like I ordered. It was still delicious in spite of this.
The service was great. Our food was so delicious. They brought out hot fresh baked bread. The mixed greens salad was great. I enjoyed my Delmonico steak and the garlic mashed potatoes.
Food and service were mediocre. Try Capital Grill instead.
