   We had the misfortune of coming into Sullivans on the night that there was a huge party in the back room. Although our server was very friendly the service itself was Mediocre. Steaks were not cooked as requested. They needed to be sent back. Scallop dinner was cold when served. When steaks were sent back out to the table they were so over cooked there wasn’t an ounce of flavor left to them. The wait time between our salads and our entrées was over 30 minutes. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

   Steak & service was great. Comp dessert for our 40th wedding anniversary....but I thought it would be more romantic....enjoyable though!!! Tia was wonderful & prompt while we were there!!

   The steaks are not as good as other places (capital Grill and Flemings). It was obvious that this is a young inexperienced group of servers. I think it was the first time our server ever opened a bottle of wine. But all were friendly. So certainly not the best but not the worst either.

   Stopped in for early dinner with short notice reservations for 6:15 pm on Saturday evening. Easy reservations via Open Table but still 10 min wait from time of reservation. Clearly the hostess doesn’t realize she must greet the people standing at the desk as we had to ask if they were open between her phone gazing. With an eye roll she asked three times and what the name was. After the third curt request, she said “oh” and said “follow me”. From there we walked through a half empty dining room to our U Table where we were clearly “dropped” to no employee awareness for 15 minutes. We ordered a bottle of wine ($90) apps (2 X $18) two soft drinks. Another 15 min goes by (note:7:15now, one hour after reservation) without water or drinks. After drinks arrive, we await the server to take meal, another 8 min. Orders four different steaks (min &48 per steak) two sides ($11 & $16). Our food arrived all over cooked (rare was medium rare and medium rare was medium well) on cold plates. If you are calculating, this is now upwards of $400 meal for a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor, go to local diner and order anything. The cost benefit ratio will surely pay off. Stay away from this place as they can’t cook the food well.

   Overall, service and food were good. Have never really had a bad meal at Sullivans. Cheesesteak egg rolls are really something special along with the wedge salad. My wife and I each had the filet which was cooked perfectly. Side of Brussels sprouts was delicious.

    Had a drink. Blonde female bartender walked by us 6 times and never even acknowleged our party. Same bartender was complaing in front of customers about not wanting to work. 20 minutes to get a drink at an empty bar. After we were seated the food came out cold. Sent the soup back 3 times as it was cold. The mashed potato side was cold and the crab and hollandaise was cold on top of a very well cooked stake. Rack of lamb were actually single cut over cooked lamp chops. It was all just aweful. I spoke with the manager Andrew and he comped the meal and told me he was aware of the issues. I asked him if he was aware of the issues why wasnt he fixing them. Andrew told me he was new and that was why.

    Cold mash potatoes the first time. Room temperature the second time.a 10oz steak just isn’t the same size that it used to be and why so much salt seasoning. This was a disappointing Mother’s Day dinner.

    Not what I was expecting for the price paid. The food was not cooked to the ordered request and came out cold. Service was friendly and pleasant but the food completely missed the mark for the entire table of four.

    Benn going to Sullivan’s KOP for 30+ years, used to be my favorite go to restaurant in the Area, however over the past 5-6 years the food quality and service had gone downhill. Something has changed recently and my visit last night was excellent! Food and service was excellent!

    My party was running late for our reservations and my daughter and I had to sit in the lobby and wait until they arrived. I would have preferred to be sitted, look at the menu to get the night started. I felt like we were punished because they were late.

    I have enjoyed going to Sullivans for many years, but Sullivan’s is just not what it used to be. This is our second visit where we found ourselves disappointed. The service was OK not great and our server left without giving us our check and we didn’t know he was gone until about 20 minutes went by and we asked someone to find him. The food that was served was good flavor wise however everything was just warm/cool. Nothing was hot or what you would expect when you’re eating dinner. I did notice that other tables seated near us were returning their food, but I was not sure why. I don’t know if it was a temperature issue, we did not return our food but we will not return to Sullivan‘s.

    Steak was over cooked had to send back and wait for another. Asked them to serve it sliced,they refused, whereas all the best steakhouses will do that when you order a large steak for 2 Will not return.

    We were on time for an 8:15 reservation for 2. We did not get seated until about 8:45. Once seated we were greeted by the waitress within about 5 mins. The waitress was the best part of the night. She was extremely friendly, given the circumstances and I understand she was working short staffed and under stress. Nothing was her fault. After waiting on a drink for about 15 mins we finally ordered. Waited for another, maybe 45 mins for the meal to be ready. We ordered 2 ribeyes, one Oscar style and one with crab stuffed shrimp. The restaurant ran out of crab stuffed shrimp for my ribeye so I requested Oscar style without the asparagus. When the food was served to the table, the steaks were to come with mashed potatoes, the potatoes were not on either plate. Mashed potatoes were then brought out to share, not individually. Both steaks were cooked perfectly, however the crab meat ontop of the steaks was ICE cold. The asparagus my friend got with her Oscar style was also ICE cold. We then waited for another 15-20 mins for the manager to come to the table and then about another hr for the check. This was my friends first time at the restaurant and it was for her birthday, setting quite the precedent. This was not the special night I had planned, and the entire experience was just awful. I was not even aware it was restaurant week, so this reservation was not even in relation to restaurant week. I am completely disappointed in the experience and saddened by it, as Sullivan’s has been one of my favorite steakhouse.

    I wasn’t blown away by my experience at Sullivan’s, it was about average. There’s other nice restaurants in the area that I will choose over this one for future reservations. It was restaurant week, so I’m sure that added to the average experience, as they were busy. Our service was fine, our server was very friendly and helpful. I asked for my steak medium and it arrived just about rare. The sides were cooked but as soon as you cut it open, it was rare. I wouldn’t even say medium rare because I would eat that. I had to send it back and received it back, probably cooked more medium rare than medium, but it was fine - I ate it. And our server was very nice and accommodating regarding that. My fiancé ordered his steak with the bacon + blue add on, but it didn’t come with it. We weren’t charged for it, so I guess the waiter didn’t hear him order that. Just an average experience for a nice restaurant.

    While the food was amazing, the staff and service was terrible. The hostess that sat us had no personality. The server seemed like we were a bother to her and barely even checked on us. We have been here several times while visiting from out of town and decided to celebrate a birthday here, which was a mistake. Next time we will be sure to reserve a table somewhere else.

    We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation. Had to wait 25 minutes. Restaurant was far behind. Very chaotic. Was finally sat and the hostess forgot to let our waiter know. Waited almost 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. I can see this happening at Texas Roadhouse but not at Sullivan’s. Our waiter TAJ was excellent. Very attentive and personable. He was the best part of our experience.
