   Not worth the price. You heard the bass from the bar next door the whole time and the food was too buttery and rich. Not fine dining and definitely not worth $200+. Go to death & taxes if you want a real quality fine dining meal

   The food and service in the dining room was great as always. However, it appears the drinks/service in the bar have gone downhill. My martini tasted like water, and the gin and tonic was not much better. I made mention of it to the bartender, and he did nothing to fix the situation. I’m sure we will be back because we love the food, but I will be staying away from the mixed drinks. I would almost think the liquor was watered down. Given the money we spend in this place, they can do a better job when they’re mixing a drink for you, and replace if necessary to satisfy a dinner guest.

   Food was excellent as always. Service could be better as their former team concept was not the same. It may be, like many hospitality establishments, they cannot fill all the open positions. I love the restaurant and the folks that work there. Kayley did a nice job for us!

   Took 15 minutes from arrival at reservation time before the host came to the host stand. Our server was good and that was the ONLY positive experience. No attention to detail. The host did not appear competent in what his role really was. We ordered the porterhouse steak and it took 3 attempts for the steak to be cooked medium. The server did comp the steak and was very kind. This was a special occasion meal and I have been coming to Sullivan’s for 10 years and this was the worst experience in all that time. I was also surprised that throughout the evening I never saw a manager anywhere in the restaurant. I would have imagined that with so many issues a manager would want to rectify…

    My daughter and I shared the dry aged long bone rib eye it was really good. The shrimp and lobster bisque and Caesar salad were ok. The smoked rosemary old fashion was really good. Being seated next to the server's station and kitchen was not good, and the service was just average.

    Overall it was ok. Server was very nice and attentive. Food was average, not overly impressed. The blueberry lemon martini was very good. Very loud music from Milkbar next door made it hard to talk. Would not return- too expensive and the area is growing so there are many other options to eat steak at much lower cost.

    Sullivan's almost has this appearance of an upscale steak house but from my husband & I's experience it was lacking in professionalism from the staff & didn't hold to the expectation we had. With that being said our server was very accommodating, considerate & checked on us frequently. It's a steak house that began 1996 & I feel it could use some updating of interior. What stood out the most was the sense of unprofessionalism from the staff, there just seemed to be an inconsistency across the board.

    Our server was great but we waited an hour and a half for our food. We asked about it twice. Our server spoke to the manager and was sent back to our table to offer complimentary desert. The manager never came over and the dessert took so long we left without it. We will not be back and we have been going there for years.

    Another wonderful experience at our favorite dining spot! This is a great place to get a couple drinks and just relax. We were not rushed in any way and enjoyed each other during the evening. The food was delicious. Our regular server Meredith was great as usual. She delivered the food and drinks perfectly and talked with us for a few minutes.

    The food and service were exceptional! It was a bit noisy and the majority of the clientele were more casually dressed than the last time I went. If you’re not fussy about dress code, this is the best steak in town!

    It was ok. We got the steak plate with all steaks medium rare. One steak came out wellllllll done. Then one other meal came out at least ten minutes after the others. Not timed correctly. The crab fried rice was the best thing. The Paloma was not very good. The banana old fashion was a hit. Broccoli side was very salty. No consistency.

    Server was in attentive, seemed inexperienced, brought the wrong wine, did not check back, and when pointed out that the lobster in the seafood appetizer was undercooked, and could not get it out of the shower. Even, he said, that he thought it was fine. And walked away. not at all what I have come to expect at Sullivans.

    We had a tough start because there were five plus a baby seat. Mentioned in the reservation. Mentioned when I checked in. We followed hostess to the table and arrive to no baby seat. "Oh, you need a baby seat?" And, frankly, there are too many tables crammed into the main room. Doesn't come across as high end. Server herself was great. She just had too many tables. Maybe they were short staffed? Had to wait for steak knives at a steakhouse. Had to ask for first water refill. Food was maybe slightly above average. Steaks were solid. Crab stuffed shrimp was excellent. Nice wine selection. Overall, I mean we spent $400 and I would say it wasn't really a level of total service to consider $80/head a great value.

    Had reservation and there was slight wait to be seated. Server named Kara, I think was AMAZING and made our first time dining there nothing short of great. Unfortunately a lot of items were out of stock but we still got to enjoy a great ribeye and macaroni and cheese. The banana foster bread pudding was definitely a 10/10.

    Well i wanted to take my wife out for our 24th year wedding anniversary so i booked reservations for 4:30 early i know but i thought i would get better service with it being so early, Boy was i wrong. we arrived to find the hostess desk empty and proceeded to wait 7 to 10 minutes before someone finally came up to ask if we had been helped. We were seated and our waitress came over and she new the menu very well but we soon found out that was the service we would get from her was just going to be a bunch of showy lip service. Our food came and i was asked to cut my steak that was cooked perfectly, but i was not so impressed with my $12 side of broccoli as it came out as a whole head with a stalk as big as my wrist. I wasn't expecting something that was not edible to be on the plate at such an upscale place. See Picture attached . My wife ordered the sweet potatoes that cost the same and they did not come out with the food and were brought out by another girl. my wife said they are not even warm and i tested them myself to find them almost cold so i said i will flag our waitress and we continued to eat only our waitress was no where to be found and by the time she turned up the wife had eaten her fill of the entrée and i had stopped eating and decided to take mine home because i was aggravated at that point. The waitress told us she had to ask her manager if she could take it the sweet potatoes off the bill. The manager whom never showed up at our table by the way. My bill was $199.20 and the experience was a big buzzkill to the special experience that i wanted to show my beautiful bride of 24 years. I know where i will not be taking her for our 25th

    Based on previous visits, it was a disappointment. They were out of oysters Rockefeller, but still had all the ingredients. My wife’s steak was overcooked. The server took it away and came back within minutes with the same steak. We had to make them cook a new one. The manager comped the steak, but this is not what we expect from a restaurant of this caliber. We won’t go back any time soon.

    Cutting through the moderate noise level and staff scurrying back and forth between tables and the pickup area, was superb service and being made to feel like me and my guests were the only patrons in the restaurant. Our server, Alexander, was helpful, attentive and good humored throughout our dining experience. I was celebrating my twin teenager's birthday and both were made to feel special without the public embarrassment of chain restaurant birthday serenades. The food was superb, including the sides/salads ordered by my non meat eating daughter. The tab was very reasonable for an upscale steak house considering today's level of inflation. I definitely recommend Sullivans...it's been here for many years, and I hope many more to come!

    We went in with high hopes as we had heard good things. Upon entry the hosts felt a bit inattentive. But kept our hopes up. Service was slow. It took some time before waitress came to our table. She was pleasant and we moved on to our drink selections. Old Fashion was on point but the Pear Paloma fell extremely short. It lacked the flavors as described in the menu. Oysters were good. Bread arrived just before the meal. Ordered cowboy ribeye, Waygu strip, potatoes o gratin with lobster and creamed spinach. Both steaks had nice flavor but missed the mark compared to steak houses in the triangle both chain and one off. Potatoes were cold, not crisp and lobster was dry. Creamed spinach was the saving grace. We were not checked on often. Took forever to get more drink orders in. Was going to skip desert but figured we would try the full experience. Got the berries and cream. Fresh and good. First impressions are key. Having sampled others in the triangle Sullivan’s unfortunately ranked low. Hopefully others will fare better.

    Not the best steakhouse around. Even for a chain Capital Grill, Joes and Ruth’s Chris are all better. Nothing wrong with Sullivan’s, food is good. Service lackluster but nothing bad. Server was earnest but not attentive. Appetizers were very slow to arrive as was the wine. A good meal but for the price one can do much better. It’s a bit of a factory rather than a fine dining experience.

    Me and my wife ate at Sullivan on Valentine’s Day, which would probably be our 3 rd or 4th visit to this resturant. Our steaks salads and sides were really tasty. My wife had the filet and me the bone in American wagyu strip. My white chocolate martini was one of the best mix drinks I’ve ever had and the service was top notch. I did have to send my steak back for a bit I ordered med rare it came out rarer than rare. But really no complaints and we had a great dinner.

    The steak was very good along with the calamari app. The service took quite a while and the restaurant was maybe 25 percent full. It was late lunch so maybe shifts were switching. I feel like the price of 225 or so for 2 with no drinks was a little high for the quality I valued more at about $150 based on food. Don’t get me wrong the New York strip had a perfect crust and was cooked great.
