SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden
Bold in design, SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden offers a host of inviting dining and drinking experiences: from the bar with its ‘living ceiling’; the exposed kitchen and high energy sushi bar to the terrace overlooking the square below and the private dining room with its own entrance and terrace.
Food was beautiful and service exceptional, would definitely go back
Love this place. Friendly Helpful accommodating staff, wonderful interesting food, good for all occasions.
Food a very tasty new “fusion” of different cuisines. All very good. Excellent and very positive service attitude by all staff members. A bit expensive (or very expensive if opting for the £1000 steak...).
Very good food
While we can’t deny the food was nice, service wasn't great had to ask several times for many things.
The food taste was great but certainly not worth the heafty bill and we were still hungry .
We celebrated our son’s birthday with a meal- it was an excellent experience, relaxed and with good food and great atmosphere - highly recommend for multi generation outing!
Great food, friendly staff
The decor and space is beautiful and has a quiet and nice ambiance. The dishes look amazing as a piece of art . The food is good but not great. They should taste as they look.
A lovely evening, pricey for what it actually is but good quality and a great place for an occasion!
Favorite Japanese fusion restaurant in London. All dishes are amazing and the cocktail is full of layers of taste. I’ve been there three times a week and not tired of the food. Mar Terre is a really creative dish.
It was very nice to start off with but our designated server disappeared after he introduced himself and the service went down hill after that, to the extent that we were asking for service from whomever we could find
Food and service was fantastic.
It’s quite pricy but we expected that and definitely not disappointed by the food
I have visited Sushi Samba at Liverpool Street and absolutely loved it. This venue didnt feel that nice from the entry feels really poor, the coats are hanging in the entry room and the small heaters are placed under the staircase. We wasnt really sure who our waiter was as someone else seemed to take care of us or we even had to grab who ever just passed our table as nobody showed up for a very long time. The food wasnt that special, we had order sushi with melted mozzarela on top and it was basicaly just rice conected with melted mozzarela. I wasnt that impressed eventhough the room is very nicely decorated.
Our first time in Covent Garden! Great food and great service! Thanks to the Italian waiter!
Worst service ever despite staff knowing that we had booked for a special occasion. We had ordered starters and were left waiting an hour, even after asking, for my friend's starter to arrive. Our mains were also served before this and after asking the waitress again to check she instead rudely told us we had 15 mins left at the table and that we should eat our food as quick as possible. Ruined the complete evening for my friend who we were supposed to be celebrating!
amazing fusion cuisine experience in London
The food here was great the only disappointment was the soft shell crab roll. For what you pay I expected the traditional soft shell crab rolls. But everything tastes amazing
What a special place ! Come . Eat and smile !!!
Extraordinario, pero lo mejor es la atención de Paola, de Puebla Mexico
Stunning venue, incredible food. Reasonable price for Covent Garden, but definitly not cheap. Can't wait to go again!
This restaurant was highly recommended by a number of friends. Certainly did NOT disappoint and we will return any time we are in London. The yellow tail taquitos are TO DIE FOR!!!
Amazing experience. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious and presentation amazing. Highly recommended.
My 4th visit to sushi samba - the food was the usual high standard but on this particular visit the service was lacking with other tables orders being brought
Too many waiting staff who are not adequately trained. Shame as SS I visited in June was really good.
I like everything there
We loved the food and service. Lovely atmosphere. Sorry don’t remember the name of fantastic waitress, but she’s from Portugal. Definitely we will back . We have been in SUSHISAMBA in Miami and more places. Always happy to back there . Thanks for having us.
Food was ok but not great, definitely overpriced. Very loud for Sunday evening, service definitely needs improvement.
incredibly over priced. You are paying for the venue. Food was nicely presented. We wanted to have our birthday cake at the table and they wanted to charge us £7 a head for the privilege of eating our own cake which would have cost me an extra £42. We took the cake to a pub after and cut the cake for free with no hassle from the landlord. Be warned you need deep pockets.
Tutto eccellente sia il cibo che i cocktail. Ambiente splendido e personale gentile, decisamente da tornare!
Great location, good ambience but service is not consistent. Food is OK; maybe it is just personal preference not to have over complicated sushi
Amazing! Best sushi I ate
Great Lobster Taquitos, the best Shrimp Tempura I have tasted, an unusual, complex and interesting salad and excellent lamb chops stand out particularly.
Great atmosphere, a cool buzz, what's not to like apart from the bill... but as long as you know what to expect going in, even that's pretty good.
Went for a Thursday lunch - was completely blown away by the decor inside, it's stunning. Food and service were impeccable.
Staff is friendly, and good recommendations for our dinner.
The sushi was mediocre. The salad was very good and uniquely presented. There was one cocktail (Tom Yom?) that was fantastic- as in the best drink you’ve ever had good. The service was terrible.
Went for a lunch date on Saturday 17th August. Great atmosphere and central to Covent gardens so easy to grab a bite after shopping. The food was amazing! I sat opposite the kitchen so I could see the food being prepared. I especially enjoyed watching the Head Chef (I think) double checking every order before the waiters took it to the respective customer tables. We had sushi, gyoza and rib eye steak.. delicious. A bit on the pricey side average I would say £50 per head but I plan to go back soon.
Highly recommend EVERYONE tries the Chocolate Banana Cake as it’s to die for!! The cake just melts in your mouth and then sauce and ice cream brings all the flavours together. YUMMY 😋. I would go back just for this and a glass of wine lol.
Excellent service and food! Will visit again.
Absolutely beautiful food, wonderful flavours and extremely fresh.
Service impeccable, lovely ambiance. Will definitely return.
The food is excellent. Samba Salad, Lobster Tacos very tasty.
