I had read great reviews about TacoVision from someone I follow on TikTok. My friends and I missed the brunch. We had a late lunch. This place is great!
I strongly recommend their Margaritas on the rock and their Birria Tacos!
Delicious food and fun experience!
Went to TacoVision for the bottomless brunch and the unlimited taco. My group and I sat outside. I feel that was a mistake because once we sat down it was like we weren't customers anymore cause it took over 20 mins for someone to say or even bring us water to the table
Finally, we had someone come to take our order we all agreed on the $40 brunch special. We ordered and that took another 30 mins so at this point our time limit is being wasted on just sitting. Finally, food came out but still no drinks. Our drinks came out at this point we told the waitress our next round so this time we didn't have to wait. Of course, another long wait to finally gets our food order was missing food which I don't understand it's only 4 taco options for the unlimited taco menu.
I was pretty much fed up at this point I just went in and I spoke with a young lady name D who apologized for the experience that we were having. I explained to her we weren't getting serviced the food would come out we had no one to check on us to make we had everything or needed anything. D stated that she would check on what was going and again apologize for what was going on. I went to sit down and it just seems like the same stuff was going on so long story short 5 out of 10 I would not go back again.
The reason for the 5 is because the concept of the brunch is good who doesn't love tacos... The tacos were good only wish we had more options. The service is what threw me off and wouldn't give them my money.
- takes reservations
- can do $40 bottomless tacos and drinks (and there are different options for each), or can do $22 drinks or $22 tacos. Nice for those who may eat more then drink or vice versa. Also good price for NYC
- good music
- a lot of seating
- music and noise level overall was too loud
- you can only eat/drink for 90 min, but we found there would be 30+ gaps of time servers would come around which was irritating for bottomless
- not a lot of vegetarian options
- food overall wasnt great; corn was spicy when wasn't noted, overcooked nachos, & shrimp tacos had too much cabbage
Food was delicious, service good. Enjoyable evening out on the roof garden.
Great place to eat, fair prices, food comes quick and lovely atmosphere!
My favorite day to go is Taco Tuesdays!
The food was amazing and on time. Our waitress was phenomenal and the ambiance was perfect. I will absolutely be returning.
Such a vibey little place, we really enjoyed it. My partner and I are in NYC for the weekend, Taco Vision was recommended to us by a content creator we follow and we are so grateful to her for it. We showed up 20 minutes late to our reservation and as busy as they were, they still managed to sit us at the bar. We loved sitting at the bar because the bartender was such a sweetheart! We walked out of there drunk & full. Really recommend having some mezcal shots, their pineapple soda drink and their birria tacos *chef’s kiss*
The manager was amazing!!!! He was so helpful. The food was delicious!!!!!!!! I only wish there was touch more light at the table.
Excellent food and service. Drinks were good; difficult to drink frozen drinks with straws. Overall an enjoyable experience
went just for drinks with an outside reservation expecting a rooftop - rooftop closes at 9p — seated upstairs next to bar filled with dirty glasses and had a smell — music was really loud and could bareilly speak to the people at your table — waiter was often no where to be seen, but checked in every once in a while — on the plus side, the margaritas were pretty good, but were pricy at $14 per and no pitcher option
Great overall experience! Food, drinks and the staff were excellent!
The Birria tacos wasn’t that good but the music playlist they play kept me alive.
Great service good tacos great margs and mimosa love it
We have been several times and the food and service are always excellent. The 90-min bottomless taco brunch is fantastic, but you must make reservations at least 2 weeks in advance. Randy & Maria are fabulous servers. We always eat outside (front and back patio are open air, but covered from rain) but have noticed the music volume inside is quite high, so know that about where you are seated. Highly recommend the all day breakfast and brussel sprout tacos.
I reserved for outdoor seating for brunch about two months ago. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate but tacovision staff was accommodating and understanding. We were able to sit inside. The food and drinks were great. I definitely recommend this place. I'll be returning soon.
Loved the el pastor and chicken shawarma tacos and the ambiance! The staff was very attentive. Will definitely come back and refer to my friends☺️
Horrible overall experience. Was seated and waited 20 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. Our waitress was annoyed and acted as if we were an inconvenience by ordering food.
Music was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation and had to repeat order as the waitress couldn’t hear.
Overpriced for what you get.
The tip I left was more than she should have received
Streer away from this spot as you can find 100 better places in NYC.
Delicious brunch. Highly recommend. Enjoy all the tacos!
Food and service were very good. Rooftop is "covered", but not waterproof. They didn't seem to know what to do for a group whose space was wet from the rain.
I have been to TacoVision 3 times now and the food and drinks are always super good! Highly recommend their Taco Tuesdays!
I met up with a few friends for a Sunday brunch and this was the perfect place to meet. Our waiter (wish I caught his name), was amazing! The food and drinks came out fairly quickly and we did not feel rushed. I just wish the menu offered more options for the tacos as it was only (2) meats and (2) vegetarian. My friends enjoyed the margaritas as well as the mimosas. Definitely worth the price overall, especially if you love tacos! Plan on going back for brunch again and maybe dinner!
We did the 20/20 vision deal, and it took close to 20 minutes between ordering drinks to when we got them. The value wasn’t there.
The Birria Tacos were delicious and filling. Also got the chips and guac, which was a pretty good portion.
It was great! I was expecting another taco spot spot that’s only “hot” because the influencers have taken over. But I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, the tacos were very filling, I thought they would be smaller. The ceviche was so delicious! And then we also ordered the coffee rubbed angus steak, it was perfectly cooked! The drinks were really good too. I was surprised at the range of mezcal they had. My only suggestion would be to serve the mezcal with oranges not lime. And if you order a flight, maybe the server can suggest in which order to take. We love our mezcal lol. The DJ needs a raise cause the music was on point, we had Wutang, Tribe called Quest, the Weekend, old Kanye, and also some Brazilian funk? C’mon, perfect mix if you ask me. We missed the brunch special, but that’s ok, they have happy hour every day from 5-7PM. You can’t beat $6 tacos. Will definitely return and recommend my peeps to go. I came from Suffolk County, Long Island, it was about 1 hour to get there.
I found the staff to be flustered and confused. When you are on a timed reservation it can get frustrating when you cannot track down a serve for 20 min.
Food; shrimp tacos had a weird spicy to them and plain chopped cabbage on them pretty all flavorless, my friend had their bria tacos those were overpriced and EXTREMELY bland even the caldo tasted like pretty much like luck warm water. The margaritas were super sour should be renamed sourrita. The churros were incredibly stale.
The server took forever to get back to us she would disappear for so long. She was friendly but overall poor service along with horrible food, Tiktok really overhyped this place. I was so disappointed
I definitely recommend this place. Amazing all you can eat tacos!
I wanted to love this place because the atmosphere was so lively and it seemed like a cool place. The drinks were terrific but the food really was subpar- almost gross. Overall tasteless, lacked any real flavor to the point where nearly everything tasted the same- bland and soggy. Very disappointing.
Great birthday dinner!!
What a wonderful happy hour option! I feel like a true happy hour is hard to find in NYC. It’s usually $1 off the regular price for a drink. Tacovision’s happy hour is fantastic! Drinks for $7, and 2 tasty tacos for $6. I’m not saying they’re the best tacos I’ve had in the city, but they make for a great accompaniment to yummy margaritas. And the price can’t be beat. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Great value! Especially on Tuesday is happy hour all night!
Everything was perfect, SUPER friendly staff — amazing service and shrimp tacos were OUTSTANDING!!!!! Loved it!!!!
The music selection was very good the food was a little bit overpriced and bland because it wasn’t really seasoned or marinated like authentic Mexican cuisine. We try this place out because of a TickTock that we seen so we decided to come give it a try. The server suggested that we tried the passion fruit shots and when we got them we took a tiny sip and we didn’t like the taste of it, so we requested to have regular margaritas instead of that being that they were the same price and she acted as if there was an issue with the request that we made when she was the one who suggested the shots in a effort to upsell the tab. We wind up basically telling her that we would order two more drinks if she just took the shots back because we weren’t satisfied with it and that’s when she agreed to finally change it to the drinks. A positive note would be that the food came out really fast and the hostess were very friendly.
The food and drinks were amazing - Margaritas are well made and don't taste like cheap tequila/mixer, the food is so fresh and tasty, authentic. our server was very kind and she gave great recommendations. All around a great experience!
The restaurant was ok. Food was regular. Very slow service not much variety of bottomless brunch and very slow service. Don’t recommend the brunch it’s not worthy. Waitress was rude
Amazing food a drinks! A must go in NY.
Great food and great ambiance
Read such rave reviews regarding this spot, I was sooo disappointed when my experience didn’t match the hype. Everything was going well until we met our waitress...I’m not sure if she was having an off day but she basically dropped the ball with our service. Me and my aunt both decided to get the bottomless tacos and drinks for $40. The website and menu tells you the time limit is 90 minutes and it starts the minute they take your first order. We were there for 2 hours and she came to our table TWICE!!! We literally only had 2 drinks and 4 tacos a piece. And this was despite our attempts of flagging her down and her making dodgy eye contact but not coming to our table. It was by complete chance when we were finally able to get someone’s attention so we could get our check and leave it was one of the owners...thankfully he was very accommodating and understanding of our frustration. He took care of the bill for us and even gave us some goodies for the road. But as for first impressions...the only thing that truly saved this experience was the owner.
