Beautiful restaurant and the food was well prepared. We were disappointed in our server, did not have a thorough knowledge of the menu or wines, seemed to be handling too many tables, dropped multiple pieces of flatware to the floor when clearing our table.

Food is delicious, decor and setting is lovely. Service did not match the price. I am so mad at myself for not testing it out first, our meal was a special dinner with my mother. Much of the time was spent dealing with problems. Not recommended, if service is important to your dining experience.

Blue steaks, overdone eggs, tables so close that the woman next to us hair was flying over, receptionists referred to to valet clear across the mall, they no longer have the brunch buffet, … the potatoes were the best thing but waiter refused to bring ketchup which was sorely needed

We were very excited to go to Terra's, and for the most part, it was a great experience. It was a Saturday night, and we had reservations which we got in right away, but it was very crowded. The acoustics carried the noise throughout the restaurant, and very hard to carry on a conversation at a table of four. one of our party had dined there before, and had an excellent experience and meal, but that was on a weeknight. I think it being a Saturday night they were understaffed, and the service was slow. The ambience was great. The fish was slightly overcooked . The hanger steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare . The sides were amazing also. But what we loved was the desserts, the terra dessert and the tiramisu. One complaint was they do not serve decaf coffee, which would've been nice to have with our dessert. We will give it another try, but maybe not on a Saturday night

We had a marvelous dinner. Everything served was delicious including the hot bread and butter. We had two wait staff and they were on top of our every need. The restaurant was decorated exquisitely and after dinner we shopped in their beautiful market. Absolutely fabulous!

The service was poor and we had remind the service guy two times to bring our drinks. The Veggie and sea food options are none in the menu. The service guy was not friendly and he could not give us any suggestions about the menu details. It was a birthday celebration reservation, we did not receive any special treatment. The restraunt did not provide real italian cuisine. We feel there is a poor management and customer satisfaction quality. Both in restraunts and the market area the staff is rude and they make lots of mistakes (including wrong price charge) and never say simply sorry. In Istanbul and Munich branches we had a great experience but here we experienced few times poor management and low food quality issues. This is friendly reminder , hopefully eataly will consider to provide better quality service for its customers.

For a restaurant as nice as yours, I can’t believe you serve ice tea in a glass jar. The tea was sub par and cloudy. You should consider brewing your own tea - it’s higher margin and far higher quality. Or at least default pure leaf tea in bottle

Celebrating our anniversary. Food was outstanding - especially the Tiramisu. Service (Perry) was great. Only one miss. We were given a small box with a treat for our anniversary. When we opened it at home - it was empty!

Went for the brunch buffet only to find out they removed it.. the food is still very good but not worth the price especially considering the value you got with their buffet. If they bring that back, then I highly recommend it.

It would probably be best if I just wrote a book entitled " The ONLY restaurant in Texas" Terra (which is the amazing mgt and staff) go to ANY length to make certain their guests are satisfied, happy and want to return. Every guest I personally bring has already been back on their own. That speaks for itself!

When you spend $200+ for a date night dinner you don’t expect your table to be next to an utility room door. When I asked to be moved, the reply was ‘don’t worry, no one comes through there’.

Lovely respite from the hectic nature of the mall. Food was good and expensive for what you get. Service was excellent and the environment was what I would expect from a restaurant that I assume is trying to capture Europe (cozy, bright, relaxed but lively). Tables are a little small for larger people.

Really bad service, server not trained nor knowledgeable, hostess or manager doesn’t see things and has no experience in upscale service, both nice, but training and room needs expert supervision !basics of service and table set up were absent ! Cappuccino served with no saucers when asked, we were told the saucers were being washed! Water never poured, bus boy totally lost !! Really many more issues were not served properly.. food alone dies not justify these prices!

Easy to get reservations, the menu seems a bit limited, so check it before you go. We weren’t in a big hurry, just going to dinner with friends. Waiter and manager came by often, to the point of feeling like they wanted us to hurry up. Salads and pastas are homemade and very good. My biggest issue is the price/value. There are nice Italian places close by where you can get as good a meal for 30% less. So, fun, but not likely to be a regular guest.

I am a transplanted NY’er always seeking out Italian food in Dallas. Terra was fine, the food was very good but the ambience really feels like the mall that it’s in. The cost as well was fairly pricey for the quality of the food and the experience. I would go again, but expected a lot more out of Eataly and my experiences there in NY.

The food was really good. The bread, pomodoro pasta, and carbonara were great. The service was good. The ambiance was nice. We went for Sunday brunch and first got some coffees at the Eataly downstairs cafe. We brought the coffees upstairs to Terra and were told we couldn’t bring them into the restaurant- you mean the very same establishment we bought them from? Ok, fine. Disappointing, but whatever. Once we were inside, both tables to either side of us had outside beverages- sodas, coffees. Not labeled with Eataly branding. Enforce your rules or don’t. It felt so arbitrarily discriminatory.

Service was good. Our waiter was very attentive. The food is very so-so. The $28 vegetarian Pappardelle ai Funghi pasta dish was filling, that much I can say. It had, however, a very scant amount of sauce, and had very little flavor. It is described in the menu as "housemade spinach pappardelle noodles, with mushroom ragu, garlic and 18 month aged parmesan cheese". I did not taste the parmesan nor did I taste the garlic, which are the flavors that prompted me to order it. There were plenty of mushrooms, but for that price, and considering that everything was a la carte, it was pretty disappointing. For a woman, the portion size was okay. For my husband, that was not the case. His Cavatelli al Ragu di Terra was $31 and a bit smaller in size than mine. We had to stop on the way home for something additional for him to eat. I spent a Summer in Italy, and the pasta there was always amazing, generous, and reasonably priced. I would not go back to Terra - Eataly Dallas.

We ordered the little gem salad, seafood grill for 2 people and chocolate dessert and my wife got very sick. Also we were seat next to table of 15 and there wasn’t enough staff to deal with all of us do time there was about 45 minutes more than otherwise. Would not go back unfortunately

Terra was fantastic overall. A few nitpicky things that could help the restaurant do better. One was the hosting interaction. Because you have to go upstairs after checking in downstairs it is easy to feel unsure if anyone knows who you are. They did know, but we didn't know they knew. There was a crowd and we didn't know if we got lost in the shuffle or if they were aware of us. So when the reservation arrives upstairs it would be good to reintroduce and let them know they are aware they are there. Not a big deal but can be confusing for the patron otherwise. The main dishes were both great but the appetizer of grilled bread was underwhelming, 4 slices with butter, that was it, for $10. The bread was ok, but not worth the price. It didn't ruin the meal by any means but the value just wasn't there. But like I said, overall a wonderful experience!

Jason was fantastic! We had everything. 10 people, including a couple kids. We loved the burrata, as it's an Eataly staple. But the lamb skewers were incredible, along with the costata di manzo (shared with my 8 year old, wish I would have gotten him something else so I could eat the whole thing), Tagliatelle alla Norcina was fantastic, as well as the Cavatelli al Ragù di terra (which might be the best thing on the menu!!). I highly recommend Terra, and all things Eataly.
