Wonderful Birthday experience. Our table was reserved with a signed birthday card from the staff. Food was rich in flavors and each course was nothing short of amazing! The server helped us select courses that complimented each other nicely. Well done, Bellmore, well done!
Everything was amazing with the exception of the oyster pie. I will save you the $95, don’t get it.
Incredible, incredible service! Cuisine-level food and a great date night.
Short menu, small plates and overpriced.
Always love going there. Staff great and food a beautiful visual delight
Creative and delicious food. The space is beautiful. Service was great.
Great place for a 1st wedding anniversary dinner!
Outstanding in every way. Beautiful, glamorous room and great service. Warm and welcoming. Creative and delicious. Thank you.
Excellent for special occasions.
Amazing service and we couldn't pick a favorite dish we loved them all!
Bellemore was outstanding! From the service to the food, everything was top notch.
My wife and I went for my birthday. We had the prix fixe dinner along with wine pairings. Needless to say if you're going to go that route you should expect to drop a few bucks, but its well worth it for a special occasion. Every course was excellent, especially the venison tartare. All the wines were well chosen to go with the accompanying dish, although not all of them would be standouts if you were drinking them on their own. My favorite was an Alsatian Riesling. The service was knowledgable, friendly and attentive.
Astonishing, satisfying experience the second you enter the door
We had a fabulous experience at Bellemore. The restaurant has great ambiance. From cocktails through dessert all was just amazing. The Oyster Caviar Pie is worth the price for a special occasion. The Hand-cut Spaghetti with Winter Black Truffles was so good that I could have had two orders. The Beef Three Ways was pure perfection. Chef Jimmy Papadopoulos is not only very talented, but a very gracious host. Truly a magical evening!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful night out at the Bellemore!! It exceeded our expectations from the Phil Collins cocktail to the seasonal banana chai pot de creme. We tried their famous oyster pie and it kept getting tastier with each bite!! Expensive bites but great nevertheless. We both absolutely loved the hand cut house made cheesy spaghetti topped with truffles. I chose the cod with langoustine, cauliflower in a buerre blanc. Perfectly cooked and balanced. My husband had the beef 3 ways and he said he had the most flavorful piece of beef ever. We recommend everything we had and we are definitely experienced eaters. Service was spot on even though it was our waiters first night on the job. It was obvious he took pride in his job and his suggestions were excellent!! Hope to return soon! Thank you Bellemore and compliments to the chef!
Great room. Sophisticated atmosphere. Great food.
Limited menu and wine selection, food was average. Music selection was strange and all over the map. Service was not too sharp and infrequent. Pretty space but probably won’t be back.
Unusal combinations of ingredients made interesting and excellent tasting dishes. Great service.
One of those places where the space is as much a part of the experience as the food. Interesting cocktails, a lively scene with lots of uniformed servers bustling about; we had the chef's table where the instructions and entusiastic cries of YES, CHEF! could be heard. Enjoyed the fried black rice and venison tartare; the sweet potato tots were kind of tiny to justify that price, I'd maybe skip those. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, it was fun, spendy, certainly not filling; worth a visit with the understanding coolness is part of what you're paying for.
Food had some good flavors others were bland such as the venison tartare. For the portions given I would realistically need to have bread, 2 or 3 starters and an entree.. all of which range from mediocre to great ratings. I would value this restaurant at 2/3rds cost to be worth its dollar. I recommend this place for its venue. Grab a cocktail and then head over to one of the goat restaurants for your meal.
Fabulous. Everyone was superlative and the food/wine was delicious! An experience not to be missed.
Our server, Kiwi, was unpretentious, knowledgeable, attentive while not intrusive, and warm with a very pleasant palatable personality. Each course was well presented in simple attractive appetizing style. The quality and flavor of all of our food was excellent. I was particularly impressed with how well the food was prepared in terms of temperature, texture, and flavor. The chef made some creative use and combination of ingredients and flavors without going over the fine line of interesting and successful but not odd. I would also like to note that the Smokin Berries cocktail was outstanding. Awesome combination of clean high quality ingredients, textures, and flavors. Overall, a very positive special occasion dining experience. Thank you.
Incredible resistant, food and service. Can’t wait to go back.
Bellemore strives to be something that it's not. Subsequently, pretentious is the most concise description. The seats are uncomfortable, the portions are small and the execution of the dishes is wanting. One would be better served at a buffet; at least there you would find something comforting. Save your expense account for a Capital Grille, the price is equivalent and at least you would leave satiated.
This restaurant should be avoided as overpriced, overrated with inferior service. Large company party and the kitchen could not get the food out to the remaining guests. Staff more interested in each other than the guest. Out of cabernet by the glass at 6:00 PM on a Thursday night. No option. Caviar oyster appetizer is overpriced ($95) and bland. Entre selection very limited. Great disappointment.
Interior is beautiful and it feels intimate though it is a large space.
Service was outstanding and very welcoming (shoutout to Steven).
A couple of nits regarding the food. My husband had the venison tartare, but would have appreciated some crunch and a carb with it. My foie gras, while delicious, leaned too far to the sweet side. It was more like a dessert than a starter.
We were treated very well for my girlfriends birthday
Another simply superb meal at Bellemore! This restaurant is currently our number 1 pick in Chicago.
It was a great experience but I’m very specific about service area seating although it was near the chefs kitchen, we would’ve preferred a quieter seating.
Great service, amazing food. This is a curated menu, you won’t find hundreds of choices but what we ordered was incredible! Great seasonal drink offering. We will be back!
Celebrated our anniversary here. Staff was very kind and informative. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was laid back, yet classy. Will definitely be back to share this experience with friends and family.
Bellemore always delivers with a seasonal menu. I am the type of person to find some little thing to comment or update. Honestly, I have never had a suggestion for Bellemore of any kind. Simply, perfect.
Incredible birthday experience. Each dish came out plated beautifully and tasted delicious.
The food was culinary perfection
Everything was amazing, from the hostess to the check. The food was exquisite and the service was the best ever! The drinks were very delicious as well
Beautiful dinner in a gorgeous space
Probably one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The black rice and sweet potato tots are to die for; and the cod and char are phenomenal. I would recommend not skipping over dessert because you’d be missing out on a delicacy!
Great food and great service!
