My drink was quite tasty! The food was subpar and the table near was extremely loud. I tried the restaurant...I won't be rushing back for their food in the near future. But I'd consider this a nice happy hour spot.
The service was horrible, the food was bland and the area was horrifying
Great service, great food!
Great service & ambiance. The brick oven pizza was okay & my MD mac and cheese was good. The s'mores creme brulee was delicious 😋
First time there and the food and service were excellent. Enjoyed how they transformed and old building into a great restaurant.
Food was good, drinks need some work
Great food and service! Hidden gem!
The boiler room was eclectic, great decor, good drinks. Was, anticipating ordering from there inviting menu. But was turned off to find, that there fried items were cooked in the same fryer. Me not being a pork eater, that was an issue. But if that were fixed, would definitely give it another shot.
Everything was excellent
The place is in a rough area of town, but nicely tucked away in old industrial area where warehouse have been nicely refurbished. It is next to a brewery so it must rock in precovid times. A somehow limited menu but good food. Service seem slow but the waiter was very nice.
The entire experience was horrible, especially the food and drinks the food was super bland no flavor the fries taste like old cooking grease it wasn’t a good experience at all. I would not recommend!
I heard about them running out of food, but I didn't think it was a regular occurrence. First time there and they didn't have mayonnaise. I love mayonnaise!
Great ambiance, good service and excellent food. Fun find.
Absolutely perfect! The ambience and the drinks were great too!
I wouldn’t recommend this place to eat, the happy hour was nice though.
Our food was delicious, are drinks were cold and our service was great!!!
It was a little hard to find, but once we found it we were pleasantly surprised. It has accessible parking and an axe throwing place next door. I went there with my mother, but it is definitely family friendly or a time with friends. We were seated quickly, the service was attentive and fast. The food was definitely above average, but if I were to go back I’d order something different. Everything looked nice and appealing, even the decor. I would recommend this to anyone traveling through Baltimore and wanted a relaxed eating environment. I had the lamb chops with onion arugula salad. It had pita bread with it (it was warm and delicious) the salad was sour and soggy and the chops were smaller than I expected. My mother had the general tsos and she said she enjoyed its but there was a lot of onion and lack of sauce (it’s also a sandwich). Overall, our experience was nice and you should get the volcano shrimp!
First timers to Boiler Room and were thoroughly impressed! All of our dishes were delicious, from the salad to dessert. We started with calamari (though small, they were hot, tender and the tangy side sauce was exceptional) and we split a wedge salad that was surprisingly larger then expected and made with flavorful bibb lettuce (a welcome change from bland iceberg you see in so many other menus). For main courses, we ordered seared scallops (beautifully done with 6! large scallops, asparagus and proscuitto) and the hangar steak (cooked to absolute perfection, flavorful and tender) which stole the show. Cannot fail to mention the delightful Smore's creme brulee (two of our favorite treats combined in one utter amazing dessert? Utter wow). But the real STAR goes to our server/host Gina (or Jennie?) who made our night the perfect experience. We have both been in the industry for years, dine out often and she was wonderful. She was accommodating from the start, and extremely pleasant. Even with a mask on, one could see she had a genuine smile every time she came to table. Highly recommend the Boiler Room !
Food was delicious. Service was terrible. We felt often forgotten. Drink refills were slow, empty glasses were left on table. We were a party of 6 and the food was delivered in a very staggered manner. Often one of the children in the group were left for last and their meal was delivered 3-5 minutes after other meals delivered. Dessert timing was the worst. 5 desserts were delivered and could have been more than fully consumed before the final dessert was delivered. This was a dessert that likely takes more time to make, but the kitchen timing should have figured that out. Finally we waited about 10 minutes at the end for check to be delivered and then waited another 5 minutes for payment to be processed.
Willing to go back b/c food was tasty and ambiance was good. But if service is terrible again definitely won’t be back.
Lovely atmosphere, seated right away.
Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday
Excellent service and most of the food was good. We had the wings, brisket grilled cheese and mac and cheese. Mac was way too runny and was expensive-$22! Wouldn’t order that again but would probably return.
The land chops were tasty. However, the portion size was not great. The entree was appetizer size. Don’t order this is you are really hungry. Pita bread was extremely salty. It had great presentation.
We've been here several occasions and don't have any objections to returning. Good times.
I had a wonderful time this place was clean and beautiful the waitress was sweet and nice
Top 3 restaurants to visit....service and food were great...can't wait to go back!!!
Great experience. Food was terrific
We came here after trying out Monument Brewing. It was an interesting space with a cool design including lots of exposed brick, and all looked brand new. The small dining room area we were in was nearly full on a Saturday evening, with the bar area almost completely empty.
Service was good and fast. The food was ok. I had the mahi tacos and they were definitely missing some fresh ingredients as it was just fish, sauce, and corn/beans... no slaw or anything else. The fries were great and my husband liked his burger.
Overall everything was good. The building and set up is beautiful. Only 4 stars because the appetizers tasted like heat and serve from a box.
Everything was amazing from the staff to the food. I definitely recommend the Buffalo wontons they are really good. I will definitely go again when I am in the area.
Our hostess was awesome. Food was quick to come out!
It was a great place to eat. I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. We had 3 orders of cheese curds... Great place !!!
Food was pretty good and our server was very attentive. Overall, a nice quiet meal and cool interiors, we would come back again.
Outstanding space, outstanding food, and outstanding service. This hidden gem in Baltimore is a must.
We appreciated the nice staff and delicious food! Thank you.
The food was amazing as well as the service! Will definitely be back!
This was a wonderful experience for myself and those with me. Nicole was our server and she was amazing!! Very kind and thoughtful. The food was out of this world, especially the appetizers. We will definitely return.
Great food. Friendly service!
Exciting menu with creative options. Friendly staff and cool location. Love it!
Great ambience and great food. The menu isn’t extensive but that translates into specialties. Everything eveyone ordered in our party of four was delicious. We had appetizers and entrees. No none got desert so can’t speak on that. The only negative comment I about waiter Mike didn’t honor social distancing. Whenever we asked him a question about a menu item, he would lean over top of me to read or point out the item on my actual menu. I kept moving back but he didn’t get the message. When I finally told him he was encroaching my space (I mean his head was 1 inch from mine) he said “but I have on my mask.” Doesn’t he know the pandemic safety rules are wear a mask AND social distance (stand at least 6 ft apart)?! Other than that, I would recommend and will be revisiting the Boiler Room.
