   Charcuterie board should be on a smaller board for better presentation. It looked very sparse when brought to the table. Tallow candle was awesome! A must try! Sadly, the white Sangria tasted like lemonade. The salads we had were delicious. My meat was cooked perfectly however my husband’s was not. Overall, the flavors were good but I truly don’t think it’s worth the price.

   First visit to The Butchery. Pineapple Express cocktail was very good, and I’m not a fan of spicy drinks. Cornbread is delicious. My husband and I both enjoyed our entrees (NY Strip and Scallops). Our server was nice and friendly, service was a little slow but we’ve come to expect from most places due to staff shortages. Will definitely go back again.

   So disappointed! Thought the restaurant, located in the old The Old Neighborhood building, was new. Turns out it isn't. Maybe a new name and a few minor interior updates, but mostly it was like putting lipstick on a pig. Food was overpriced, presentation non-existent, flavors were bland at best, onions were burned, and kitchen was slow slow slow! Only thing good was the wedge salad and dessert. Oh, and the service. It was excellent. But that did not mask the horribly over-priced menu and lousy food. Spent over $300 for four people. Will not return.

    We LOVE this place. Hostess was so nice. Manager is very professional, kind and accommodating. All of the servers are delightful, respectful and responsive. Food is A-MAZ-ING!

    Parents night out. One of us loved our meal, two of us really like our meals, and one of us was just ok with their meal. Nice ambiance and convenient location for those of us in the burbs.

    The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent at The Butchery. My wife and I enjoyed our night out immensely! Our only complaint is that we didn't have bigger stomachs to try more of the delicious menu items! If you are in Denver, this is the place to be!

    The steaks were a bit dry and overcooked. And we felt charged for more sides than we thought we ordered. A drink that we said “no thank you” on a refill was Delivered and we were charged for it. Overall not a great evening. A sidenote that we’ve been here before and had a good experience though

    Would give 5 stars for food. All our food was very good. The reason for the 4 star was the delay with our entree order. Waited 45 minutes. Believe the issue was having 2 waiters. One hand didn’t know what the other was doing. We were the recipients of this lack of communication. Staff owned their error and comped is a drink and took care of dessert.

    Our food was good but the meat (steak and lamb chops) were only warm when delivered. Asparagus were barely warm...all food should have been hotter. Also the restaurant was completely out of baked potatoes and sweet potatoes. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed and food was not delivered promptly. The couple at the table next to us waited one hour and twenty minutes and still had not received their entrees. They finally got up and walked out. I understand this was a very busy day (Mothers Day) but a restaurant should not take more reservations than the staff is capable of handling. It is better to turn down a reservation rather than turn off a patron who may never return.

    The waiter was kind and friendly. However, they appear to have had staffing issues during our visit. We had to wait 25 minutes before ordering and weren't offered water until we sat for 10 minutes. Drinks ordered from the bar took quite a while. The food was very good and the waiter very apologetic about the delays, yet he didn't circle by our table often enough. The steaks were amazing, the french onion soup was meh and the desserts were average. Overall an OK experience. I don't think I'll be returning there soon, considering the overall pricing. Was it bad? No. Was it great? No.

    We arrived, with a reservation, at about 5:30 p.m on a Saturday and didn't get to eat until 7:00 p.m. which we thought was far too long! Our server wasn't around much. But the steaks were great as usual.

    Absolutely a great place for a steak with your vegetarian friend. My filet mignon was cooked evenly and perfectly. The vegetarian really enjoyed the complimentary cornbread skillet, broccoli cheddar soup, and the Winter Salad. Others at the table had filet mignon and the buffalo ribeye. Those who ordered the Au Gratin potatoes were pleased. The white cheddar mashed potatoes on one diners' plate were heavy and cold on the edges. Go with the Au Grain potatoes instead or a baked russet or sweet potato. The steaks themselves were tender and flavorful. We experienced leisurely dining and never felt rushed. It was a welcome change from a hurried meal. We will definitely come back for that special occasion meal.

    My bison steak tasted good but it was not served sizzling off the grill. Wedge salad was very good and salmon was also very good. In an area with spectacular steak houses you have to be on your game, especially when you’re charging &45 for a steak.
