First time visiting, hope it won't be the last. We were taken care of by the hostess, our server was pleasant and the food was fantastic. Thanks!
The ambiance is really great, the menu had good variety and choices, a little expensive but it definitely felt worth it. We sat inside and it was a bit too loud, but we managed. The tables inside are spaced a bit close together considering it’s Covid times, but they have a large outside area for those uncomfortable with being inside.
It was great! Food and service were excellent.
It was our first time and we were confused about how the find the entrance. Eventually, we figured it out. Otherwise it was a nice experience.
My first time being at chop tank and it was really nice. I loved everything about it 👌🏾
Great ambiance - especially outdoors. Seafood nachos are a slamdunk appetizer - a MUST. I was disappointed that they served our drinks in plastic. Cocktails and fine wine don't cut it from plastic cups. A bit underwhelmed by the Rockfish entree. The scallops were very good. They were not serving soft shell crab that night, despite it being on the menu.
Our 1st time there, everything was very nice, we will be returning.
Server was bad. Asked me what kind of vodka I wanted in my margarita, i said you mean tequila? He said oh yeah we can do that too. Brought my friend the drink she ordered half empty. Other friend had a dairy allergy and was very specific to ask for a burger without cheese or bun and was brought with both and had to be remade. I ordered a second margarita and this one was made with soda in it. Cool atmosphere but service was not good
Excellent service .. we arrived an hour earlier and we were accommodated. Staff were friendly great vibes /atmosphere . Live music good food !
Amazing atmosphere. Sat outside and really enjoyed our first time coming. Definitely will be back
Great menu, lots of choices for all, cool place, indoor, outdoor, bar, booth, and table seating. Very friendly and attentive service. Try the crab dip, but really all of it good, sandwiches, entrees, apps, sides, and a fantastic orange crush.
Good place. Really popular weekends. Good food. Great service
Food was good , energy was wonderful and so were the drinks!!
Food is ok. The oysters Rockefeller were good while the kale salad had a bit too much candied ginger for my liking. The crab soup seemed a bit like crab dip.
Service on this particular night was great. Our waitress took great care of us, as did the other staff. This restaurant is large, inside and out,, and can get very noisy.
Brunch was amazing, service was great! We went at noon and it was before the crowd started really coming and food was perfect and well prepared.
It was a great dining experience. Safety protocols were great and staff was very pleasant. The food was amazing especially the fried green tomatoes.
The menu is amazingly with great choices. Crab cakes and crab dip are top notch.
Jordan the General Manager was a great host and has a wonderful team. Each of the bartenders especially (Jordan) had such energetic personality's and very helpful. Everyone was well versed in the menu and drinks. This is my favorite Atlas property hands down! Keep up the great work!
This was our second time visiting this location. The food was good. Service took awhile which wasn’t a problem and understandable. However the party seated behind was was very loud and kept yelling basically in my wife’s ear multiple times, which caused us to leave sooner than we planned.
Casual dining. Nice outdoor seating area. Great seafood options.
This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We had reservations and was seated immediately. We waited a long time to get our food, but the food was good. Our server was very nice.
We went for brunch and the positive was a good tasting bloody mary. However, our food was not even close to enjoyable. I ordered the Green Chile Chilaquiles and it was a bowl of soggy tortilla chips, non-existent chorizo and an overcooked egg. If something like this is going to be on the menu the preparation needs to be improved to actually resemble what is described or imagined.
Main menu is priced 'okay', but the seafood is well over market price considering all of the other surrounding restaurants.
If I return it would be mainly for the open atmosphere and a bloody mary.
The food was good
The issue was our appetizers were served and then 2minutes later our entrees arrived not enjoyable
Not what we expected. Glorified Red Lobster. Will not return.
Our server Dan was friendly and informative.
Really nice vibe
Wow,first time having a date there and the place time ambience and food oh wait the service was superb, without a doubt is my top place.
Excellent time . Our server Shawn was great . Live music was cool . Food and drinks were good .
Food was good, location is great especially on a nice day.
Only down fall was the service. Waitress we had was next to horrible. She took about 20 minutes to come over and greet us. She took drink orders and never brought us any of them (or water). I had to go over to an outdoor cart and ask another waiter to poor us some water cups. She took our initial food order, then about 20 minutes later she came back asking us what we ordered again... then said she'll go "now" put in the order???... and still no drinks, even though we asked again for them.
Then about 15 minutes later the food finally came out! It was good, but in all honesty everyone was hangry. So just to have something was win at that point. We also had to ask a 3rd time for our drinks as we got our food, she then brought them.
All in all the place is cool, food was good, nice outdoor area... the service though... ugh
Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The venue itself is beautiful, and really possesses the spirit of Baltimore. Would go again, but wish for better food. The staff is also nice.
This was our first time at The Choptank and it was sooo delicious! We had to sit inside because it was cold but the outside looks like a great space to hang out. We tried the everything seasoned monkey pretzel bread, oysters Rockefeller, tuna poke, soft shell crab platter and the spicy chicken sandwich. We regret not staying for dessert! One of many reasons to go back!
Service was good at the bar. East coast oysters were excellent. Crab dip is a must. I will try the Maryland crab soup on the next visit.
Absolutely a fun place with great food
Great food and staff
Such a fun place to have drinks outside with friends. Food is good, drinks are great and lots of fun!
Drinks are great. Mussels are really yummy. It is on the pricey side but the ambiance and location is really fun!
Very beautiful restaurant. Great food. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Bar staff is amazing. Overall great restaurant. Must visit.
Great times! Love Joi!
The waitress was great, I’m sad I can’t remember her name. The wings are so good.
I visited Choptank recently and was looking forward to trying different menu items. After placing our order, the waiter came back to the table to inform us they were out of 75% of the items we ordered, including the crab dip, wings, Brussel sprouts, ingredients for drinks, etc.
I ordered the crab soup which was delicious but would have liked the option to try other items, especially because I drove 30 minutes to visit.
Delicious food, even for the members of our group that don't like seafood. It's nice to be able to choose between eating inside and outside as well.
Good food, however, very very commercial, you do not feel welcome, they just serve you food and drinks in plastic cups.
