The food was great! But I was disappointed that they are no longer serving the brunch menu. I wish that had been updated on their website because I went there for the brunch. The lunch menu was really good though.
classic spot. best nachos hands down. great drinks. great staff.
No coffee and limited brunch menu, not ideal. Chicken biscuit was good tho!
Food was great! The chicken sandwich was very very favorable and huge 😂😂. Deff will come back. Only thing I kind of didn’t like was they took forever to take my order but overall perfect place to get some bangin chicken sandwiches and drinks.
Terrible service and attitude. They were out of straws and never gave us our drink order, despite asking multiple times. Our server seemed coked up out of her mind despite it being noon lol and was so nasty. We just wanted to leave.
Love The Commodore, just wish the prices were not so high. Would definitely be there more often, love that place though.
The food was amazing! Our server was a bit hard to locate at times. The food was fantastic aside from the fries which I was a bit surprised about because the fried chicken sandwich and fried chicken platter were perfect and loved up to the hype. Not sure if this is significant but the bathroom was truly disgusting which makes a difference about food cleanliness and something I also think about with restaurants.
💯 x 💯 as usual
Honestly the best veggie burger I have ever had the service was slow but kind. I would def come back
We asked for sprite which was extremely flat. We changed it to Coke- that too was flat. The chicken, biscuits, and nachos were amazing. The mac and cheese seemed like pasta microwaved with milk and every little cheese. The food came fairly quickly. I wouldn’t return though.
Awesome, as always
I triple checked that my reservation was outside for covid reasons, they assured me it was. I got there and the entire restaurant was packed (against covid guidelines) and they said we could only eat inside because their patio was full. They took no ownership and were unapologetic for their error.
Delicious food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
The food here is out of this world. The burgers are dreamy, had a chicken sandwich here on another occasion, which is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my LIFE! Salads are amazing. The front-of-house seems a bit short-staffed, which is understandable with COVID regulations and all. We cant wait to eat here again!
It was great , had a frozen margarita and waiter gave us shots on the house . Amazing experience and indoor dining
It was fun for the group
Great place and great food. I would recommend this to a friend.
The Commodore continues to be one of my favorite bars in the city. The chicken sandwich is to die for, and I highly recommend the pina coladas (even when it's cold out) since I have yet to find a better one ANYWHERE.
Even in a pandemic, The Commodore did not disappoint. We got a table for 3 pretty easily outside on a Saturday night. We ordered at the window for minimal contact. Service was friendly and fast. Food was delicious. That street corner is busy and loud, but it added to the ambiance.
service was lackadaisical and food was just OK. we did not get utensils/condiments until later into the meal
if you want an outdoor table, i recommend calling instead of booking on OpenTable. Our "outdoor" table was actually in an enclosed patio with a ceiling and 4 walls, which is actually "indoors" in terms of COVID-19 infection risk. Service was slow - it took at least 10 minutes for someone to come take our food order.
Servers were openly rude. Food was quite good, but overall experience was dragged down by lousy service
Our waitress was very friendly and provided great service. The brunch was delicious and I'll definitely be back!
The service was absolutely awful. We arrived and went to go meet the rest of our party and who were seated already and were scolded for not checking in. I’d understand if that was because they were checking temperatures for covid but they were not. They were incredibly rude, yelling at us for walking to where our party was. Given the covid protocols around the city I would have let that go but then the rest of the service was worse. We didn’t get food until we had been there 2 hours. One persons food didn’t come until over 30 min after everyone else’s. When our food came originally we had no utensils. We asked and then the first time she brought utensils (probably 10 min after we asked) she just brought a handful which ended up being only enough for 4 people. We were 6. We had to ask again to get more and never got spoons for our grits. After we were eating, our waitress apologized for the wait for the last person’s food and offered him a free drink. I also ordered a drink at that point. 30 min later we still didn’t have those drinks so we cancelled them, got the check, and left. I had heard great things about the food, which was good, but I was so disappointed I can’t imagine going back to eat in.
