Disappointed in terrible service for a special occasion. The food was good but we won’t be celebrating here again.
We were disappointed as we were indoors with a lot of noise going on and strange music. I was expecting a few more choices on the menu as I had checked the online menu. The best thing about our experience was the service. We had a delightful young girl who was just great!
Closest feel to a NYC atmosphere.
The pizza was not cooked evenly. Some spots still doughy Luke warm.
The worst part was the service. I asked for wine with my dinner. I had two pieces of warm pizza before I got the glass of wine. My wife and I both sat with empty glasses for an extended period. When she did finally check on us we were done.
The waitress at the table next to us provided water when the group sat down, told them about the restaurant week special and explained the menu. That would have been nice.
What a picture-worthy venue inside and out. Smart interior design and magnificent rooftop view of downtown. Food is creative and delicious. Service is always friendly and attentive. We are addicted!
We had some shared plates for dinner and the food was great. The real star of the show was the bartender, Kelly. She was knowledgeable, polite and very prompt. We never needed a drink. Highly recommend!
Lovely view. Great food and good service. The ambience is also very nice except for the fact that when we visited there seemed to be a big problem with spotted lantern flies. They were buzzing all around and climbing on the windows. I know that wasn’t their fault, just making an observation. Music was a bit too loud to enable us to have a normal conversation. But I would go back.
Great place for post show dining. Wait staff friendly and accommodating. Food tasty and served hot! Drinks creative! Parking close by....and the views fantastic!
I would recommend it good is good and drinks are good. And even a nice view of Lancaster
My wife and I went here for a unique date night. Awesome ambience, noise level wasn’t too bad and they had a nice playlist on. french fries were extremely delicious and the exchange burger was divine. My wife had the pork sandwich and it was also incredible. Will definitely stop by here again. Not sure how busy they are on the weekends but there’s a great view up there for sunset, and the seating was very comfortable. Expect to spend around $75-$100 for a meal for two depending on how many drinks you get after tip. Overall loved it!
What a wonderful evening at the Exchange! The menu was limited in a great way because every dish we shared was excellent. We loved the view, the hardworking and attentive staff, and the whole package. Genuinely recommended.
Nice relaxing place for drinks and views, a must try while in Lancaster.
Had a very nice outing with a small group of friends at The Exchange. The drinks were delicious and the food was fresh, hot and very tasty! I will most definitely be back for the food and for the gorgeous views.
Fantastic place to chill and unwind while enjoying dinner and cocktails. The ambiance is great as is the view of course.
Super loud and the choice of music was odd. Servers were great and we liked the food.
The food was excellent. Service was pretty good. Outside dining area really great. The music was WAY TOO LOUD. We go out to dinner to have good food and good conversation. It boggles my mind as to why establishments need to play music so loud that it makes casual conversation difficult. Please turn it down!
The Exchange's most redeeming quality is the view of Lancaster City. The interior has a very modern feel and music was fairly loud. It was hard to have a 1-on-1 conversation with my husband because it was hard a bit hard to hear each other. On a nice day this is a great spot to get a cocktail and small plate to share with friends and enjoy the view. It was raining and the outdoor area was closed so we dined inside. The drinks were good but menu is very limited food-wise. For me, it was an OK experience but I have no desire to go back. It's a place I would go for a drink and to share a snack - nothing more.
Good food and service and exceptional view! Twice l have witnessed thrilling summer storms as they passed through! It is my "go to" place for out of town guests and birthdays. l will surely go again.

Only negative comment was the small menu - but it’s understandable considering the supply shortages fueled by the pandemic, etc.
Overall, a great dining experience!
Great service and excellent ambient for gatherings
Thank you so much for 5-star review! We are so happy that you enjoyed your evening with us and hope you'll join us again soon!
I love the Exchange. Fun and a great vibe.
The waitress was not very attentive. We had to wait for long periods of time before we would even see her, and we needed to get her attention to get her to come to the table. She didn't stop at the table on her own to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay. We get the kimchi frites...just fries with some sauce drizzled, sesame seeds, a few slivers of radish and green onions...not sure where kimchi fits in. Also got pizza...the dough was undercooked but at least the toppings tasted good. See no reason to return.
Service was slow. We put our order in for food with our waiter and he didn’t come back until all the food was consume. Only had one drink each and he never came back to ask us if we wanted another (our drinks were empty before our food came). I wish they had actual tables to eat at. We made reservations for a high top table thinking we would be at an actual dining table. For a party of 4 sharing 4 appetizers there isn’t enough room on the coffee table they seat you at. Food was really good and so were the drinks we did have. View was spectacular.
Birthday dinner but when we were seated it took a while for us to see a waitress
Such a fun experience! Great service and great food.
Nice atmosphere and the food was great it was nice to overlook the city of downtown Lancaster
Rude staff who stated that we “cost them a lot of money already” and wanted us to leave after dining for just under 90 minutes and spending > 150 dollars.
Service was phenomenal, and you can’t beat that rooftop view.
The Exchange is definitely a must visit in Lancaster city! Get something with fries and the Mood Swing cocktail for an A+ meal.
It’s rather loud, but everything else makes up for it. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Very nice place, great views & atmosphere, god food, and service was pretty good. Had some confusion with our bill but got it straightened out. Was a little disappointed we weren’t offered any water for our table and when we asked only a small 8oz glass was brought out for one person. Overall, very nice place and experience would recommend to try this place.
I love it here and will continue to come beach !!
Everything was great but the tables could be larger for when the group us larger than two
The food and service were excellent. However, when we showed up, we were met downstairs with a “you need to have a reservation.” We did have one. I would suggest that your host staff be trained to begin with: “Do you have a reservation?” rather than assuming people don’t.
Amazing atmosphere! First time for my boyfriends birthday and this place did not disappoint! We will be back with friends and family.
The food was ok, my husband wasn't in love with his meal but mine was fairly good. I had the pulled pork sandwich and he had the chicken tacos? Pur waitress was nice, but felt like she took our order and kinda disappeared until I made eye contact and she saw our empty plates. Asked if we wanted more drinks, we said no and she almost seemed offended. But the views were amazing and they had music playing. Good vibes
First time at the Exchange and YOU have to go! The views were beautiful and the food was even better. Their wood fired pizza and bao buns are to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! In addition the service we received was amazing. Kristen gave great recommendations that we both loved. The rest of the staff all made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!
Always a great place with food service n atmosphere.
The views allowed us to enjoy the most magnificent lightening storm! We got some of their wood-fired pizzas and they were delicious. Our server was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
The food and service was excellent. The music was a little loud for conversation.
