The crab cakes were not very good. It tasted like there was fish used as a filler. Meat was not sweet at all and the sauce didn’t help. Chicken fried chicken was excellent! Drinks were good. Also need to find a better bread as it tastes like it was not cooked properly.

All was good to great. Ambience and service excellent. Food we had tasted great, awesome flavors, however a little warmer temp would’ve made it excellent.

Food and service was great! (Although $19 for a burger is a bit steep). Not our first trip snd not our last!

We chose Federal Grill for our night out. We have a special needs kiddo and don’t get evenings out with no kids often. Joined by 2 other similar families - the staff took care of us topped off by an amazing dessert selection! Thanks to this team for making us feel special for the night.

A friend and I visited the federal grill during Houston restaurant week. We had excellent service, which is what made the visit the most enjoyable. The food was “fine“, but nothing particularly memorable. We both had the bang bang shrimp appetizer, which was somewhat tasty, but seemed like something that we could’ve easily made at home with a jarred chili sauce. I ordered a burger medium and it came out somewhat dry with no pink, I’m assuming well done. All in all, it is a decent restaurant, with decent ambience and very good service.
