The Flying Egg
The Flying Egg is the best breakfast restaurant I have ever ate at. The food is outstanding, the cost is reasonable and the service is wonderful.
Great service and consistent quality food . Wait staff checked back frequently to ensure food and drinks were to our liking.
Mimosas were good but the food was lukewarm at best
The food (as always) was incredible. I went first thing in the morning at 8:30am and by 9am it was starting to get a bit crowded, so I would definitely reccomend reservations. I got the ricotta and apple toast as well as the short rib eggs Benedict and it all fantastic! Our waitress was attentive and so nice!
Overall we had a nice brunch. The staff was friendly and food was very good. On the down side, the service was very slow (didn't get my bloody Mary until midway through my meal) and we dined outside, which was nice but leaves and "tree droppings" kept falling on out table- even in my drink. Maybe getting some umbrellas would be something to consider.
Great place, amazing food, noise level was a little chaotic. I’m used to sitting outside where the vibe is just a little more peaceful.
Delicious veggie burger yummy salad fantastic dressing. Brittney provided except service.
I enjoyed myself with my friend . I really just wanted a nice place to have mimosas and a nice breakfast . We got a pitcher of their cranberry Orange mimosa . I was pleased
Flying Egg always meets our expectations
This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! Our food was excellent! It was my daughters birthday and the waitress was so sweet. She made an iced latte that she didn’t charge for and then surprised her with a plate of fruit with Happy Birthday written on it. It was a busy Saturday morning so it was a bit loud, but we didn’t mind! Will definitely come back again!
Great breakfast. The restaurant follows all COVID-19 safety protocol
So nice to have breakfast in this cute little place again! It's always a pleasure to dine here.
The food here was amazing, you had the option to add food and take out things you didn’t like. The portions were amazing as well and quite filling.
I completely understood that there would be a wait time to get to a table given how busy it was. However I felt like I was forgotten and it took a server to notice we had still been waiting when other people were coming after us and getting seated before us. And then our server was understandably overwhelmed with the amount of tables she had however I had first asked for a cup of coffee which took a while but when I got it it was full of coffee grounds. So when she brought the replacement out she forgot to give me half and half which I had asked for originally. And then when I asked for it I never got it. So overall service wise was an issue for me but the food was just as good as it always has been.
Restaurant was much more crowded than expected, uncomfortable during this pandemic. Food took over an hour to come to our table.
Don’t mind waiting for food but when you wait and it comes out cold...
Love the flying egg! Always such a nice cute place to get brunch with friends and family! I will say, the last time I was there we waited about 45min for our food. But I enjoy the flying egg and will be back!
The food was amazing! Excellent service! Was surprised at this last minute find! Would definitely recommend.
The food was good except the short ribs was really salty! We enjoyed the experience otherwise
Easter breakfast nice spot socially distanced. Mimosa and Bloody Mary were just what we needed. Both the 3 meat skillet and The works were superb!
Loved this place! They did an excellent job with Covid mitigation. Delicious food, attentive service.
Awesome food and service!!
Everything was fine but the food could be warmer.
I visited 2 times in recent weeks and food was cold both times.
Waitress sat us at a dirty table because we asked to be seated away from the entrance door, the waffle was awful, like a box mix, texture was like it was microwaved, the waitress checked on us maybe once if that. Very surprised at my experience because I've dined here many times in the past.
Loaded tots were great, the chicken sandwiches and chicken and waffles were tough and have been better. Hopefully just a bad day.
Coffee had grounds at the bottom of both me and my husbands mug, and was not refilled often enough. The fruit was all rind and had no flavor. We also were first sat at a table literally 3 ft next to another table and we asked to sit elsewhere because we would have been practically on top of a family at a table next door. It was uncomfortable to see the tables that close.
Great spot and very good customer service and great waiting staff
Avocado toast with poached eggs was the best.
We had a reservation and were seated five or so minutes after our arrival. Our waitress was very nice and professional. Our food came out promptly. We were amazed how many people were sitting outside for lunch when we left. We will definitely be going back.
Our favourite brunch spot - never disappoints! Thank You
Our waitress was great! All the food was good. I had a problem with my mimosa but the waitress took care of it no problem!
We went because they had some great sounding vegan options! My friend said it was yummy!
Also, the orange juice was freshly squeezed!
Great atmosphere and we will return.
I knocked some stars off this time around due to the fact that the manager seated some people that came in after me who didn’t have reservations (I did and told him that) at the last available table.
This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional.
Luckily a table opened up a few minutes after this happened and I was able to be seated, but something like that should never happen, and a manager should absolutely know better.
The hostess and our server, as always, were fantastic and the food was great.
My issue is with the manager, I’m sorry for anyone else this has happened to.
Amazing food with lots of delicious choices, and I love the spiked breakfast drinks. There were several flavors of mimosas. The place is very cute and modern. Highly recommend although it is popular so reservations are a must.
We loved the restaurant’s vibe and service. Most of our food was great. My friend had an omelette and she felt it was over cooked and the eggs lacked seasoning. The waffles, bacon, coffee etc. we’re delish. We will definitely return!
The Flying Egg is always my “go to place” when I have out of town visitors. It’s a great place to start before spending the rest of the day enjoying all of the walking, touring, & shopping that Bethlehem has to offer. It is a great place to meet with friends. The food & the service is always outstanding & very reasonably priced.
Wait times were a bit on the long side but the food was delicious.
Charming and welcoming, will definitely go back....bloody marys with bacon were outstanding!
Fantastic!!! Loved the vegan and allergy-friendly options and how kind the server was anticipating any of that, she seemed intuitive!! Also, I live for the mimosas and I always upgrade to the freshly-squeezed OJ in mine. Thank you for everything, it was a great place for our first little Sunday brunch date!! 🌹
