Two of the Four in my party ordered the falafel pita sandwich. The falafel balls were dry making the sandwich just okay. The other two dishes ordered were the salmon pita sandwich and the cesear salad with salmon. Both were very tasty. The issue with the Falafel sandwich was mentioned to the waitress and the chef to alert them to this issue. Hopefully, they stop selling them until they can find a replacement for the falafel provider.

I’ve been an avid bruncher for awhile now and the Front Porch did not miss ! The food and drinks were great. Our appetizer did take longer than expected and came out cold. Our waitress immediately replaced it and did a round of mimosas on the house . We sat outside under the patio seating it was beautiful and waitresses came outside frequently . My only complaint was the hostess who answered my call, her tone and information seemed like she wanted to discourage me from coming. That’s why the restaurant didn’t get 5 stars instead of 4 stars , overall worth it though . I will suggest that owners make sure all staff is catering to all crowd and guests the same .

Strange parking situation but lovely old house. Lots of dining rooms on two levels. Waitperson got 2 of our orders wrong. Obnoxiously presumptuous of the establishment to add 20% gratuity to the bill when its typically 18% for a party of 6. Disappointed but would give it another try with fewer people.

Food was excellent. The service was great. Definitely recommend making a reservation. I don't recommend sitting on the porch when it's cool and windy. The big heaters made no difference and had a hard time staying lit. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The food, when it arrived to our table, was soaked in sauce, lukewarm rather than hot, and incorrect (i.e., not what we ordered). In addition, the floors were dirty, and the bathroom was dirty as well. Finally, the service was extremely slow: eating dinner took two-and-a-half hours (and *not* because my friend and I wanted it to). I know the Front Porch is under new management--and, sadly, the food and the service used to be much better.

It has been a while since we’ve been to the Front Porch. Boy have things changed! This used to be a very good place for a meal and some time together. Something precipitated changes in the service, the menu, and the atmosphere.We don’t know what. We were celebrating our 41st Wedding Anniversary and I even made a note in my reservation so the restaurant would know we were celebrating. We were greeted by a young hostess wearing leggings and a little tee shirt. I thought it was a little too casual and somewhat inappropriate as it was all skin tight. We were seated in the front room with a group of diners who were enjoying chatting and catching up. The volume was loud but not riotous, Thus far, no one from the restaurant has even acknowledged our anniversary. The menu was ho hum, noting really stood out. The special of the day was a basket of fried oysters with French fries and coleslaw. Very Ho-Hum. My dish of fried green tomatoes arrived with a side of root veg that looked like it had been cooked to death. All the vegetables were mushy and some were down right burnt. Possible warmed up from Sunday’s service? It was very sad that nothing seemed fresh at all. The menu suggested all the entrees were frozen first then fried up as needed. We had a lovely time together reminiscing, paid the bill and went home. Service was slow and the food was nothing to right home about. It was a very disappointing experience all the way around. Through the entire evening, no one said anything about our anniversary celebration. I don’t think this will be a stop we’ll make again. Things here have really gone down hill.

Wonderful experience! We were five minutes early and were seated immediately thanks to our reservation. The service was perfect, the food delicious, ambiance on point. No music playing which was super super nice because that would have been too much noise going on. As it was, the other guests around us weren’t loud at all, and we didn’t have to raise our voices to talk to each other, unlike some restaurants. All in all, 5/5. Would recommend

This was the second time I have visited this restaurant. Overall it ok but I was disappointed with my meal. It was the night's special, salmon with pecan crust. The pecan crust was so salty I had to remove it. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The white rice with kale and cranberries was nothing special/not much flavor. We ate upstairs which is a good size room with no ambiance. It was a basic room with well spaced tables and chairs. No soft music and felt like I needed to whisper so not to disturb the other guests. Our server was efficient but I'd suggest a smile - it can go a long way! My first visit to this restaurant was very good. I had the specialty house salad and it was delicious. I sat down stairs and the atmosphere was comfortable. I will recommend to friends to give it a try but to be selective with meal choices.

Brussel sprouts were great. The "crab imperial" on top of the salmon was not crab imperial and was just ok. The salmon was very good, potatoes were very good also.
