They told us they close at 11 they had a crappy Buffay. They couldn’t serve any alcohol but a Mamosa and possibly a bloody Mary would not suggest it if you’re doing a group outing to the Playhouse Square even the Playhouse Square suggested you could stay there it’s convenient, but not a very good value for your food or The group.

This is not a restaurant you want to go to if you are planning on attending production in Playhouse Square. We had reservations with two of our grandsons at 600pm before the 730pm play Aladdin. By 650pm none of our food had appeared. We had to ask the waitress twice for more bread and a soda refill for my grandson. Finally we got up to cancel the meals and pay for our drinks when a manager came out and said they were having difficulties in the kitchen. It would have been nice to know when we sat down so we could have gone somewhere else to feed our grandsons. We were offered a free appetizer in the future which was no incentive for me to ever return to this badly run restaurant. We are season ticket holder for the Broadway Series and the CLE Film Festival and will never recommend or go to this restaurant again

Had dinner prior to show at playhouse square, we have season tickets and like to switch up the places we eat for each show. Needless to say we have tried most places within walking distance over the last few years, this was one of our favorites and the best service wise I have been to since COVID has caused a shortage in wait staff. Our service Star was AMAZING. Menu is limited, that is the only downside, but the dishes we had were great and Star did not steer us wrong with her recommendations.

Food was terrible . I ordered the steak , medium, it was burned .. not seared … but burnt … and WELL done …hands down worst steak I’ve ever had … the chicken sandwich was unappetizing as well , I will never eat there again .

Another good meal at Ghostlight very convenient for going to a production at Playhouse Square. Only thing I wish is that they would expand there menu or change it up with a special now and then Our waitress Star was very good .. friendly and efficient .. there when needed .

Nice place, good location before a show at the playhouse. Food was average. I asked about happy hour, as there was a sign on their window, the manager told me there is no happy hour, it went away with Covid. She said people always ask… here’s an idea, take the sign down.

Staff and service were great. We were easily finished in time for our show. The food was good although the selections were not extensive. Fine for a hotel restaurant and within walking distance of Playhouse Square.

I had the chicken pot pie which was excellent. My husband had the walleye. Also very good. We weren't expecting much because it's a restaurant in a hotel lobby, but we both thought it was very good. We were going to a show at Playhouse Square so it was very convenient.

Good food, good pricing for downtown. They forgot a meal so 3 of us had food while one didn’t, which is always uncomfortable. Wife got short rib which was delicious, I got a farmers stew special which was always fabulous. Both my kids got scrimp scampi, which was average. Overall, food was good and service was good enough for us to go back. In Crown Plaza so you can valet park for same price as parking to go to Playhouse Square and have dinner. Short walk to theatres. We would go back.

Our waitress was very nice, extremely busy, and we understand that there are staffing issues. Our appetizer was good, but while we were eating our appetizer, not even halfway done, a server came and asked if we were ready for him to bring our meals, that they were ready. We didn’t want them to be cold, so we said yes. Everything very rushed. We both orders steaks, they were tough and not cooked medium rare, they were extremely rare. We ordered salads, they didn’t come out until we asked and the steaks were delivered without steak knives. The waitress was too busy to even notice. We were also never offered refills on drinks. Not impressed and will not be back.

This is the second time I’ve been there and both times the service was so slow. Both times we came before a play at Playhouse Square and barely made the show. We had our hearts set on dessert this time and didn’t have time to order dessert even with arriving an hour and 45 min before we had to leave. They didn’t have a table for us despite the reservation. The food is good and priced fairly but I won’t go back again.
