The Hunter's Moon
Serving up Modern European dishes by Michelin trained chefs in a warm and welcoming environment.
Found Hunters Moon by chance on the internet. What a fabulous place . My wife and I agreed that the food was stunning :I had the Scallop Ceviche : Wow soooo good ,followed by the grilled rabbit leg which was perfect My wife? well she had the foi gras followed by the Hake dish , fabulous she says.
A couple of cocktails to start , a bottle if Albariño all for less than £130. This was better than good value for money it was a steal.
We couldn’t eat any more and had to skip pudding which was a real shame as they offerings looked brilliant
One of my foodie highlights of 2019 for sure
Great service , stunning food , tremendous ambience and atmosphere .Well whats not to like about Hunters moon
If I lived here instead of North Yorkshire I would be at Hunters Moon every week.
Will be back for certain
Fantastic food. Couldn't fault it. Super tasty.
Espresso Martinis were only half a glass - could improve the measures or change the glasses!
It's very noisy. Not the best acoustics, however you get used to it and once big parties have vacated it's much easier. Just don't go on a first date or take anyone hard of hearing!
I definitely would go again.
Really lovely! Definitely recommend and will return :)
Loved the cheese soufflé and chips, and the dining room was elegant. Only downside was the noise level - the pub area was rammed and people were shouting to be heard so it was difficult to have a conversation over dinner. I suggest some thick curtains to divide the spaces.
The pub was extremely noisy but it was a Friday night, the restaurant was much quieter. Service overall was very good but the floor manager person told us to leave after our allotted time rather abruptly. This was the only minus point, the food was incredible I haven’t eaten such tasty food in years absolutely excellent!
Excellent manager apologised and adjusted bill when problems meant a long delay over starters.
Food was good sadly one side dish never arrived but didn’t appear on bill when pointed out.
The only down side is the noise level it becomes a pub with food rather than a restaurant within a pub when you find yourself shouting across the table to be heard on the upside no one is listening in on your conversation!
I took two friends who live locally and they said they’d go back again.
Best beef wellington I have ever had.
Unbelievable food and very friendly staff, will definitely be going back again and recommending to friends. The roast was the best Ive ever had.
Delicious food, succulent meat, a great reception and so much fun to eat! We went for Sunday roast and didn’t regret it. Highly recommend this place
Food is ok but service is very disappointing. Terrible acoustics in the dining room. No value for money and not an enjoyable meal-acoustics are so bad you can hardly hear each other talk.
We enjoyed our lunch at Hunters Moon. Food was good although a little heavy handed on salt. Starter potions in particular were a very generous size. The front of house was excellent; but our waitress seemed quite inexperienced and we had to ask for a few things multiple times. Would return if in area.
The best roast dinner ever! Fab food, wine and atmosphere!
Good atmosphere, lovely staff, food was good, but a bit expensive
Delicious original gastro pub food, Michelin star quality for a lot less. Beautifully decorated pub with a lot of ambience. Low lighting, nice for a cozy date or a fun dinner with friends.
It was our first visit but it will not be our last ! The ambience was really excellent and the decor pitched extremely well. The food itself was really good and better than virtually any other venue we have frequented in London. Best of all was the service - the staff were friendly, motivated and correctly attentive at all times.
The food was totally delicious and combined with excellent and attentive service this was a fabulous experience
I dined here with a couple of friends and had a great experience. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. The ambience was cozy and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
The staff was very friendly! We went there with our dog and they even offered water to him.
We ordered eggs Benedict. The egg was soften on the inside, as it should be but the sauce was too strong and spice - it is a different kind of hollandaise sauce - which kills all the flavors in the dish. It would be great to have the option for a regular hollandaise.
Overall it was good!
Service was fast and friendly, the pub style layout was great for a pre dinner drink and the food was excellent.
Very good high quality pub food, great new addition to the Chelsea pub scene
a good start, very decent. dining room could do with being designed better and the big space with out being broken up means the acoustics are terrible
