   Food was incredible, cocktails were amazing. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. All staff were amazing and so friendly. Thank you for making my birthday so special, will definitely be back.

   4 of us adult family. Really enjoyed everything from drinks in the roof bar on arrival to leaving. Friendly efficient service very busy but on table nearly 3 hours with no pressure. We like the Ivy restaurants they are a great mix of quality dining with a welcoming ambience.

   I’m sorry but this place does not deliver the usual Ivy experience that we normally get elsewhere. Why is it so dark? We couldn’t even read the menu. The service ok but the food here was poor. Don’t usually give bad reviews but this visit deserved it.

   It’s was like eating in a disco, very noisy and dark you couldn’t see the menu. The food mediocre and over priced, we won’t be returning.

    What can I say, the food, service and ambience was excellent. It’s expensive but worth it. Lovely, friendly waiter. The best scallops I have tasted. Will definitely be visiting again.

    Horrible birthday meal out! Booked for a my birthday. Arrived 20 minutes early so went to the roof top bar for a drink. About 22:55 one of the host found us to let us know a ‘nicer’ table was ready in the roof top bar if we wanted to be seated now. We agreed as it was apparently nicer than we one we have booked for down stairs. We were sat on the booth squashed between other couples. The waiter came over within one minute of us sitting down to take our order. We asked him to come back in a couple of minutes as we decided. We didn’t see the waiter for another 10 minutes after that. We ordered our food and drinks with him and mentioned it was my birthday in conversation. Our drinks took 10 minutes to come and straight after our starters came. The food was good quality but disappointing with the size. I ordered the duck salad and was very disappointed with the amount of duck that came. After finishing our staters we were left with empty plates. Our waiter came over and said he was going on his break and that another waitress will be looking after us. Still leaving out empty plates. We sat for over 10 minutes with them in front of us until she noticed. Mains came which were lovely but again sat with empty plates for 10 minutes until we were noticed. Overall, just very upset with the standard to service and having to pay 12.5% service fee for horrible service. Spoilt my birthday meal out with my boyfriend and Will be my first and last time visiting.

    Everything was perfect as usual when we come to the ivy, however I did feel the apple pie was let down by the liquor they poured on at the end- as a suggestion potentially leave on the side for people to choose? Many thanks, Seb

    As always perfect service, one of our favourite places to go for a late night meal, we love the menu and the drinks! Sadly our steak arrived stone cold but our whole meal was replaced which we were happy with and a round of drinks and dessert on the house! This is a great example of fantastic customer service and why we always come to the ivy when in Manchester!

    Lovely food & attentive service. Only complaint is the table was near the front door & main service desk which given the restaurant was half empty I would have preferred one towards the centre/back with more atmosphere. Also the restaurant was absolutely freezing. My husband kept his jacket on the entire meal. This is the second visit in as many months and the last time was ivy cold too. Need to turn down the aircon & up the temperature.
