The Ivy Temple Row
Stunning decor and the staff were very pleasant and professional and courteous.
Found the food to be adequate and reasonably priced. Overall a nice experience
Great food and a beautiful restaurant. Our only gripe was the speed of service particularly the drinks. Our drinks were sat on the bar ready for quite some time and the cocktail ice had practically melted before it got to us. Main meals were absolutely stunning and tasted gorgeous. Pudding were also incredible however served a good 4/5 mins apart which was a bit of a shame. All in all definitely recommend.
A fantastic evening with no disappointments. We were served by Francesca who was beyond brilliant. Our food was exquisite and there was no disappointments. We will definitely be back.
We had a fabulous meal and waitress was lovely and very friendly however we waited quite a while for our courses so made it to theatre in the nick of time (we had allowed 2 hours) it was an hour before we received our first course.
We went to the ivy for a birthday treat and the staff made it into a great experience for us.
Would definitely recommend booking a table here.
The service was fantastic and the food even better.
Always great food at the Ivy. My only complaint is that the tables seem to be getting closer and closer.
We could of actually been part of the table next to us. This can make having a conversation sometimes difficult.
But the food is always amazing.
Amazing!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, first time going to The Ivy and I’ll definitely be back
Having dined at The Ivy in Harrogate earlier this year, my expectations for this restaurant were high, and I wasn't disappointed. It's not the cheapest place to eat, nor is it for those looking for a quick meal as service isn't rushed, but the food is excellent, as were the G&Ts and wine. Would I return? Definitely.
Excellent food and the service was brilliant would definitely recommend
The meal was perfect, the was that the table took absolutely ages to clear away between courses and more so after the meal. I would not have said that the restaurant was exceptionally busy!
Really lovely brunch, impeccable service, food and drinks.
Amazing restaurant . Gorgeous tasty food very attentive staff.
Very very very good experience. Would definitely recommend to a friend and visit again.
This was our first visit to The Ivy since Covid and our wedding anniversary celebration in the private dining room on the top floor, eighteen months ago. The room was as pretty as it has always been. It was Saturday and very full, perhaps a touch noisy but you can always turn down the hearing-aid. Impeccable service - knowledgeable and interested. In truth, the menu is much as it was eighteen months ago but no complaints. Everything we've eaten there has been entirely acceptable - good on the plate and in the mouth. The bill was just south of second mortgage but hey, it is The Ivy
Absolutely the best fish and chips with a very generous portion. Staff were all very well turned out and professional/friendly. This was my first visit and will be back. Highly recommednded.
Absolutely amazing - food and service outstanding
A wonderful meal and service cannot wait to go back again.
Amazing service, food was delicious. Can’t wait to return
Lovely food, service and ambiance. It was busy but it was nice not to be too close to others.
Fantastic afternoon in the Ivy. Beautiful environment and service. Wasn’t my favourite afternoon tea but a great catch up with friends.
Fantastic service and the food was absolutely beautiful.
Atmosphere was good and overall the experience was excellent!
A little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.
Becky, our waitress was outstanding! Xx
This was my first time in The Ivy, l was very impressed. I have already to book for my sister birthday already. Eill be definitely visiting again
The ivy was a great spot for lunch!
Their vegan option was lovely and we will definitely be returning!
A lovely afternoon, our first visit, more than lived up to our expectations. Staff were friendly, smartly dressed and catered to all our needs. Food was beautiful, couldn’t ask for more
Been here quite a few times for special occasions. The service is second to none. Servers are so attentive and helpful. Had the brunch menu really pleasant. Special mention to Cleibe our waiter he was great.
Excellent service, food a bit pricey especially when steak doesn't come with anything.
Bar man was exceptionally Friendly.
Great service and ambiance, lovely food and drinks too. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience. Amazing service from a girl called Sarah who looked after us really well. The food was awesome and everything about the restaurant was of a very high standard. Great value for money. We will be back!
Absolutely amazing visit with friends. From the moment you walk in you are
Made to feel you are the most important guest. Service was second to none. Food delicious and beautifully served.
Really lovely meal and very friendly and attentive staff
It was really nice. The staff is the high point, everyone very polite and sympathetic. The food was great and the decoration was one of a kind. That made the whole experience very pleasant.
Excellent English breakfast for 3, we were delayed by 45 mins due to train issues but handled perfectly well by the staff. My only comment would be that the music was a little too high volume - but pretty marginal. Happy to pay more for my food and drink when its this good a venue.
I’d made a mistake with my online booking and turned up a week early! Fri night and busy but we were accommodated and had a lovely evening.
One main meal was slow coming out after the other 3 but the customer service was excellent in their apology protocol
We’ll definitely be back - on the right day next time!
Food is nice but a little overpriced, the atmosphere is lovely and the aesthetics great.
Ambience and staff were great. Food was good but not outstanding. Menu clearly reflected the ethos of the Ivy but didn’t excite me. It felt rather 70s
Loved it, definitely going back. Food was so tasty and cocktails delicious
This meal was for our anniversary, we ordered off the set menu, starters were cauliflower soup & dressed crab - which were well presented & delicious. Then the main courses arrived, cod fillets with chips, the chips were over cooked & dry, we also ordered the truffle & Parmesan chips, which also were dry & next to no truffle & Parmesan on them, very over priced at £4.50! We bought this to the attention of the waitress & she replied with …” we have been busy, so sorry” she was in agreement that they were not edible. In my opinion if the Ivy is a so-called fine dining restaurant, the chef should be sacked, as cooking chips is a basic thing. We only returned after such a nice visit back in June, I’ll think twice about returning in the future, the bill was over £60, so not acceptable by any means.
My wife spilt some red wine and smashed a glass and felt embarrassed, a young waiter made her feel at ease by saying in his own country it is good luck to smash a glass and got her replacement glass of wine, very nice touch, good food and great service, will be back
