My friend and I were initially going to get an extra portion of chips but the waiter advised us to wait for us to finish the meal since the chips were included and said we could always order it later. We were so glad that the waiter insisted as when we finished our meal we were really fully and we would not have been able to eat another potion of chips. The ambience was awesome and the service was superb. It is also a great place to take pictures.

Good experience for an afternoon tea. Could do with more choice of sandwiches. I only liked one. Though our waitress was lovely and got me three of my choice. I would prefer brown bread than the little brioche rolls i was given for my choice of sandwich. Desserts were delicious. I had to take a box of things I couldn't eat as there was too much for me. Smoothie was delicious.

We went at 11.30 and asked for a table for 2 around 12.00 lunchtime. Was told it was full untill 3.45 Went on line instantly and booked for 12.00. We told them but he was quiet rude. Felt quiet rushed to order Both had minute steak pink. Both overcooked. We dill tell the waiter. And he said he will see the chef. Came back and asked if we wanted. Desert no mention of the steak or chefs comments. We declined deserts. We were both very disappointed as we go here often or did

The service was very good indeed, and the touch of giving all the mothers a little bouquet of flowers on Mothers’ Day was lovely. I really liked the decor and ambience, and we both agreed that our meals were lovely. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place for pre theatre supper. Great tasting food, main course a little on small side, would have appreciated advice to maybe add a side dish.

This is the first time I've visited The Ivy and it won't be the last. I'd highly recommend it with the caveat that it is a little expensive for what is a chain restaurant.

Treated my friend to afternoon tea for her birthday. The staff were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. My friend received an extra cake with a candle when we advised it was her birthday. We were able to take home the cakes we did not eat as there was more than enough sweet treats. Ideally I would have preferred more of a balance of savoury & sweet or an option for more savoury but that’s just a personal preference

Another successful Ivy franchise in the heart of Leeds. Beautifully decorated with the signature Ivy ambiance in full flow. Great service and the familiar Ivy dishes are in play here making for a great spot for dining at any time of the day. Recommended. P.s the chicken is halal!

This was a daddy/daughter date. We come to the Ivy often, and the one in Leeds has great ambience and food. Today was brunch before shopping. Highly recommended!

Our main course was Luke warm but our young waiter sorted the problem straight away and bought us fresh plates and cutlery and another hot main course We were given free desserts for the wait too

Our welcome to The Ivy was cold and unfriendly, we were made to wait in the reception for 5 mins whilst our table was set. There was no room at the bar... The guy on the door was efficient but not welcoming When we were seated the service was brilliant, warm and very friendly. The food was great and we enjoyed our meal. We won't rush back due to the initial reception which let the service, bar and kitchen staff down.

Our first visit in probably around two years and the food is the best we’ve ever had. Delicious and plentiful. Couldn’t find room for a coffee initially! Service second to none, ambience excellent and we particularly liked our table in the corner and a better distance from neighbouring tables than we remembered .

The Ivy was spot on as usual. Food amazing and lovely staff who make you feel special. We had the lunch menu. I started with the mackerel and had the chicken curry for main. My friend had mushroom consomme followed by the salmon. Everything was so flavoursome . We both have a sweet tooth and the ice-cream did not disappoint!

Fabulous food and service as you would expect from The Ivy. Only thing that let it down slightly was how crammed in the tables are, we were so close to the table next to us, it felt like we were sat on the same table! I understand they want to fit as many customers in as possible but it did feel a little bit uncomfortable. Other Ivy‘s I’ve visited have felt a little bit more private. Wouldn’t put me off going again though if I was in Leeds again.
