This place was super fun! The cocktails are awesome, a little pricy but still worth it. The kitchen was closed during our visit so I can’t rate the food but it was a fun date spot regardless :)

The drinks and food were not very good. The whole restaurant was kind of sticky and run down. The service was alright. We sat outside, and were swarmed by flies (their outside seating is behind the restaurant, and there were dumpsters nearby).

Only sit inside. The outside has zero appeal. It’s a boring, bland cement area. The service is slow. We were discouraged from ordering food. It was hot and nothing special. The cocktails are very good when they finally arrive. Since we we encouraged to have dinner somewhere else we did. Shanghai La in Fair Oaks, CA it was amazing. Maybe the inside experience is better. We were so disappointed.

They were out of all chicken, and most of the Disney themed stuff, including beef skewers, and cone Mac n cheese, so we were left with Space mountain vorn dog nachos or turkey leg. And there were only 2 Disney tiki cups left(which were the least popular)! Was told that they aren't able to order enough tiki cups for everyone that made reservations..... then don't take reservations! Or call engine and tell them you are out of the product you are out of. It was a themed week, and the food was out. Very disappointing! I was embarrassed taking my friend for her first time, and my children were upset. My son had dole whip for dinner because the Mac n cheese was gone. They ran out of tiki cuos for Christmas also. So this isn't the first time this happened to me! Good for the drinks and ambience. I had fun here the first time I went which was a whole year ago for the Disney themed week.

Made a reservation a month in advance for the Disney pop-up, arrived and were seated outside in 100 heat. The hostess was rude. Tried to order from the special menu and they were out of some items. Only good thing was the Disney themed drink.

Super cute place to sit and enjoy drinks inside at the bar! Gives a tiki room vibe, it’s very cool. The only downside is that it’s a little warm in there on hot days. We could only stay for one drink, and some food, then had to leave. We went on a Disney themed day and it was just okay, I guess I expected more. They had Disney themed music, Drinks were yummy, but most of the exclusive Disney cups were gone. food was good, they did substitute the chicken on our platter with fried food without asking us first which was kind of a bummer. Overall, we had a nice time and will be back on a cooler evening to enjoy it more, most likely just for the drinks and atmosphere.

Been coming here for a while, fun place. Went for a Disney event this time. They didn't have chicken skewers or wings. The crab Rangoons are too doughy and some of the drinks are mostly ice, so you end up with about 3 real sips. It was triple digits outside but we were seated inside and it was still hot. It seemed there was only one server so service was slow - our beef skewers were served cold. I still like coming here for the vibe and the blended drinks are good.

This visit was not good mostly because we got seated outside on a Saturday afternoon in 106 weather. No fans, misters just HOT. this was third time to Disney event and very frustrating that all but one mug were sole out. It would be nice to order enough mugs for the whole event They will not go to waste. Keep the guests happy. The bar is great but sitting outside was awful.

The waiter I had most recently was great, but typically I encounter many problems when trying to go to Jungle Bird. Reservations are impossible to get and walk-ins are almost never accepted. While the bar area is open seating, you may wait an additional 30-45 mins to get a drink. I've been a long time fan of this place, but it's hard to get in, especially if you have more than 2 people.

We love the jungle bird and frequent is regularly. We came for Disney week and were seated outside for our reservation. It was 100+ degrees and there were absolutely no fans or misters. This seems like a simple addition considering summers in Sacramento are extremely hot. People would probably spend more money too. It was really uncomfortable.

The good: great service, good drinks, fun atmosphere and the prices were what you’d expect from a midtown located bar. The not-so-great: this was our third or fourth time at The Jungle Bird, and I don’t recall it being so hot. Having a cooler temperature would have been really nice, as my party was extremely warm most of our time at the bar. Overall: love, love, love this place so much. I’ll continue to come back again and again thanks to the great staff, wonderful drinks and awesome tiki bar experience.

Was disappointed in our visit to the Jungle Bird for the Disney Pop up. It was super hot inside making it uncomfortable. The food came out cold. We had the beef skewers (which were cold) but the flavor was good, egg rolls (cool), churros, and fries. The drinks were good and the mugs were super cute.

Look-last year’s Disney tiki was a sing a long, super upbeat staff and tons of fun! We went Tuesday the very FIRST night and the music was some loud jazzy buzzy track with a tiny bit of actual Disney music played softly like you’d have to strain to hear it under. I asked if they could play actual Disney music and the ever so not friendly doorman said he’d ask. Minutes later reported back with a fake smile on his face ‘No we can’t’ that’s it-so lame. Our waitress was stressed max and doubling as bartender while also trying to serve the entire front section of tables so needless to say we were under served and not attended to properly. The food meh. The only redeeming thing were the mugs! Do better TB, Disney fans deserve that!
