The service was not particularly good nor was it attentive, the quality of the food was not as good as expected considering we were in the Ritz Hotel. When I asked for an additional pot of tea I was advised that only one pot was included. I was then offered hot water to add to my pot of used tea!! The best thing about this was the harpist plying live. I probably would not recommend the afternoon tea here.

The ambience was really nice and quiet initially but later it was full house and it turned into a kbbq place sort of noisy vibe. Food was okay, nothing fantastic or amazing.

Some of the desserts are too sweet especially the cheesecake with raspberry jam topping. The savouries are all superb. Provide options to replace some of the desserts with your awesome scones in the future please.

Service was far below par for Ritz Carlton. Felt like a normal coffee house instead of a high end tea at a 5-star hotel. Thankfully food and tea was good. Definitely disappointed. Doubt I’ll be back.

ケーキ類は日本人の口には合わない気がしました。また、ホテル入り口前の道に不安を感じました。しかし、ホテル内の内装は素晴らしく、またスタッフの方が皆さんとても親切で、ゆっくりお茶を飲みに行く場所として今後もお伺いさせていただきたいと思いました。

Other than the sweets being too sweet, and the tea strainer not fitting the tea cup well enough, and minor service/ordering issues, I believe the Lobby Lounge is a good establishment for afternoon tea. So close to perfection, you might as well put more work into it :)

I'll only recommend this place for u if u want a place to sit and enjoy some live music and relax. Not worth it at RM180 for 2 person. Food is not fresh, sandwiches are dry and stale. 5 tiny pieces of finger sandwiches for 2 persons to share. Scones (2 pieces) are so strange, no butter scent at all. The top tier consist of mostly sugar icing stuffs, they aren't edible at all (way too sweet), The last layer had 2 small pieces of chicken pie (stale), 2 scotch eggs (only saving grace). No decent desserts for a high tea except sugar icing coated dry sponge cake with Christmas designs on it. I brought my friend from overseas to have a good time there but she couldn't enjoy as the food and dessert are really inedible. The only thing she did was to take a dozen of pictures of the place and enjoyed some live music. Thanks for the nice little gesture of surprise to welcome my guest though. She was happy for that moment. To summarize.. Service is good. Tea is terribly weak (even before they started refilling with hot water). Food is stale, we didn't eat most of it. No proper dessert, a big disappointment for a high tea. Music is great. Ambience is superb. I don't know if I'll be bringing more overseas guests here to entertain though.

Fantastic Birthday Teatime! Really nice staff and the live musicians even came to our table to play happy birthday music. My friend had a really nice and special birthday and I would recommend everybody to go here and maybe mention that it's a birthday.
