Wonderful meal, ambiance and service. Highly recommend. Brunch was great.
This was my fourth time at the Love and I still fall in Love every time. The food is outstanding, the portions are generous, service is attentive, just perfect.
Service and food was excellent!
We really enjoyed our dinner with friends this past weekend. Everything was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend the scallop dish.
Excellent food and service. Our waiter, Orlando, made wonderful menu recommendations!
I would highly recommend and will definitely go back again!
I also love that they had a mocktail that was not syrupy sweet - but a nice, refreshing taste.
We had a 12pm reservation this weekend for five adults at The Love, which grew to six adults and one child by the time we arrived. It was during a busy brunch service, and the staff went out of there way to accommodate our last minute additions - no resistance, no attitude - just a quick resolution. By the time we ordered a drink at the bar, they had a table for us. More impressive: we didn’t have to close or transfer our bar tab - unbeknownst to us, it was our server who took the drink order while we were waiting at the bar. The food was great, as always, and the service and management continue to set this restaurant apart from the rest.
I had requested a table in a quiet area so we could enjoy conversation, request was honored. We had a perfect table !
Bloody Mary was delicious, no hint of a mix, freshyl made1
All of our meals were delicious, especially Shrimp and Grits.
Atmosphere so comfortable and our server gave us plenty of leeway to enjoy meeting up with old friends.
Overall, a perfect brunch!
Delicious brunch!!! Will definitely be back again! The biscuits were perfection.
Outdoor table requests are not honored for reservations - FYI
I’ve been here twice now. Overall this a great place. Good for date night or a work dinner. I haven’t ordered anything bad yet, but I’ve enjoyed the Caesar salad and fried chicken the most so far. A bit pricy for comfort food, but other than that it’s great. The service has been exceptional both visits. I’ll be back again.
Overall quite positive. We learned when is the best time to arrive, where to request seating, and most important--how to handle the sheer size of those amazing entrée platters. We're looking forward to our next festive lunch at Love.
We had one night in Philadelphia and the Love was within walking distance to the hotel. It was a great pick for a fun date night. The fried green tomatoes and the rolls with chive butter were delicious. I would definitely stop in again.
Service was amazing! Food was perfect.
Fabulous meal, wonderful service, lovely ambience!
The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious!!
Check In was chaotic
We were prompt for a 730 reservation.
Our table was not ready, and when asking multiple times I was not given an estimate e but a general evasive response
Service very good
This was our first experience at The Love. I made a reservation over a week ahead and it was for 3 people for our birthdays. They call you to be sure you are keeping your reservation, which I confirmed. We were given the table by the server's computer near the entrance. Isn't this the table they save when they get really crowded and try to fit someone in? The location is just about as bad as being near the bathrooms. They really pack people in. The noise level is way too loud. This was a Wednesday. I would hate to go there on a weekend. The food was very good but you could see the server was so busy - so he did the best he could. He was very helpful in explaining the menu. I looked at how others were seated and I see we could have gotten a table up close and personal to other parties - I can go to NYC to do that - so I think they need to figure out how to space the seating for a less packed like sardines look --- and not put a table up against the computer near the entrance to the restaurant. I would come back on a quiet less busy time.
Portions extremely small for the price. I had the Salmon. Although it was a small portion, it was cooked perfectly. However, the sides were extremely bland. Another person in our party had the Steak tartar and it resembled cat food and not very flavorful. We waited for our server to return to our table longer than typically expected after each appearance. The restaurant was very full and therefore very noisy. Very underwhelmed by the entire experience. Went to your sister restaurant (The Dandilion) the following evening and had a very enjoyable experience. Service by Jade was superb and each of our meals was delicious. Loved the atmosphere.
Always have great food and great service at The Love.
For a high price point this restaurant is excessively noisy—even in what we were told was the quietest table in the place.
The food is good but I will never return.
Everything was wonderful. We had a great time. One suggestion- you do not need piped in music. There is enough noise. Why add additional?
Very good service, great food!
Service was excellent as was the food. Noise level moderate actually enjoyable since we didn’t have to tell to each other to be heard!
the best service I have received and the food AMAZING
Amazing! Great service, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere. New favorite spot!
Great spot for Father’s Day brunch. Friendly staff delicious food. Cinnamon scones and poppy seed pancakes amazing. Did not disappoint can’t wait to try dinner menu
This place is SO incredibly nice looking inside. It looks fancy, classy, yet casual at the same time--a true feat! The food was AMAZING! I had the shrimp & grits, and it was literally the BEST shrimp & grits I've EVER had in my entire life!
A friend recommended this restaurant as I had an overnight layover in Philadelphia. I was so delighted with everything that I ordered from the Prickly Pear Tequila drink, the amazing cheese board, the enormous duck salad, delicious buttermilk fried chicken and tasty scallop dish. I highly recommend this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
Great food and service
The food was so good here! We went for our 24th anniversary and were not disappointed. Had fried green tomatoes, steak tartare, halibut and lobster spaghetti. All delicious! The drinks were lovely as well. Only thing is they need a Snapchat filter and would have been a perfect night!!
Went to The Love for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Started the meal with fried green tomatoes, that were served with a pimento cheese. The tomatoes were crunchy and had a slight tangy flavor and was perfectly offset with the pimento cheese spread. I ordered the Farm Egg Omelet and it was amazing...so light and fluffy, perfectly cooked. The crispy potatoes were crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and perfectly seasoned. The dish was rounded out with salad greens with a light vinaigrette. I went with a friend I hadn't seen in months and our friendly server Lauren never made us feel rushed and was happy to help with menu selections. I would definitely go back...maybe dinner next time.
Fantastic!!! We had the best waiter, the best food (halibut and wings are highly recommended), and great atmosphere. The Love is a casual but special place, and has that ambiance that we are always looking for, especially for a special occasion. It was a first time there, but definitely not our last.
The ribs literally melt in your mouth. Best ribs I’ve ever had. Everything was excellent and it was a great atmosphere. Our waiter was very helpful and made an excellent recommendation. Can’t complain about anything!
The setting was very nice. Service attentive yet very cold. Nobody seemed interested to make dinner a great experience, just in and out with orders, food delivery, etc...
The food was very hit/miss, shocking for the notoriety of the owners. Caesar salad great, mushroom toast way over salted. My wife’s pasta dish tasted like it wax coated in sweet-sour sauce from an Asian take out, overpowering the dish. My Lovebird chicken was excellent.
Just an overall odd experience. With so many choices, we won’t be back.
Lovely restaurant with delicious food and drinks. Will be back!
Wonderful meal, exceptional service! When I am in Philly I will be sure to visit every time. A must for locals and out of town visitors.
Overall very good but the menu options were limited
loved the restaurant. we were seated at a table at first, horribly uncomfortable chairs and much noisier. switched to a booth , so comfy and much better for noise.
a bit pricey, but plentiful portions which is good.
drinks a bit pricey too...
Try the fried chicken and the scallops great service too. All in all a wonderful friendly spot
This was our first time having dinner there. We had been for brunch before. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! It was a little noisy. But I would definitely recommend.
