I was seated outside at a marble topped table on sidewalk.
Fortunately I had booked on Open Table because I literally saw about 100 people turned away without reservations
The Brunch menu is rather limited and differs from usual brunch offerings in that almost all expected dishes are not offered. There are no Eggs Benedict or similar items, nor anything with bacon or ham or normal pancakes or waffles or bagels and smoked salmon, or Burgers.
For first course I had Hush Puppies will spices and flavored butter $8 and then Nashville Hot Chicken with very spicy sauce on a slice of toast but nothing else, $26
This was a large order and I took one breast home. The service was very good after a delay at the beginning
Overall my experience was excellent and I have dined here a number of times previously. It is somewhat overpriced and somewhat odd in that both Dandelion across the street and Parc a block away, both also Steven Starr owned, offer complementary baskets of delicious breads and Dandelion even serves complimentary Sparkling water , neither of which is provided here.
Loved the food and service! One of my favorite brunch spots in Philly
Absolutely great service and delicious food. I’ve never had a better brunch!
Romantic and cozy interior, great spot for weekend brunch
Everything was outstanding, especially the service. Top notch in every way.
We came for two reasons...1. For my wife’s birthday and 2. Because the restaurant had outdoor seating. The food was amazing and the service was great as well. This is definitely a place that I would go back to.
Very good service. Adorable outside seating.
I loved the ambiance and the quality of the food was amazing!
Aweosme menu and spectacular service!
We truly enjoyed our dinner experience. Despite coming 15 minutes early, we were seared right away. Complimentary champagne was served in honor of our anniversary. The service was great and the food was amazing. We had a fig Caesar salad appetizer, and fried chicken and salmon as main dishes. I can’t recommend enough!
Our server was one of the worst people we have ever encountered. To celebrate our anniversary and have to endure the lack of disrespect is a slap in the face.
It was fine. A little over priced and we felt rushed. Probably won't go back.
Our fist time to the Love was for our annual siblings lunch birthday celebration. They could not have been better—food was excellent (cheese platter with goat cheese mice? Love it!!!) but the staff makes this place amazing. They were personal, and attentive without being pushy, so so very special. We really enjoyed the whole experience and felt The Love. We will all definitely be back!
Excellent experience. Superb waitstaff.
We had a wonderful dinner outdoors in their Love Shack. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Great service, super food, but without a doubt the best Manhattan I’ve ever had!
The shrimp and grits were amazing as was the Cracker Jax sundae. Our waiter, Bobby was very engaging but not intrusive.
always a pleasure to dine here, food/service/drinks are spot on
Waitress was wonderful and attentive. Food was delicious.
Came for Mother’s Day. Food was excellent (cheese board, tuna crudo, brisket and handkerchief pasta dish) and our service was even better. Our server, Sam, was beyond professional and knowledgeable.
10/10 recommend! The food is amazing!! Definitely plan on returning
Celebrated Mother’s Day at The Love …..had never been before….LOVED the experience and look forward trying inside dining ❤️
We were in the heated love shacks but the heat wasn’t turning on so we were pretty cold the whole time. The drinks were great. Food was good too but wish we could’ve chosen off the lunch menu instead of just the brunch menu.
Potatoes cold, dining room chilly,
Great place for brunch
Loved it! Exceptional food and a great vibe overall.
Love is just that. What a great use of outdoor space. Food was delicious, service was on point and the cocktails were even better. Definitely recommend for a nice brunch. Can’t wait to go back!
The food and service were amazing as usual!!
Always a good experience at The Love. The food was delicious (fried chicken and brisket fazzoletti) and the service was great!
great outdoor dining even on a chilly night. great food and great service.
This was my first visit to The Love and it was awesome. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. What a gem of a restaurant...one of the best in Philadelphia. The salmon and fried chicken were delicious...and the buffalo cauliflower is to die for. Return trip very soon!!!
We sat outdoors in the cubbies and it was so cool. I really enjoyed the experience.
Food was great. Drinks were delicious. Staff was very friendly and can’t wait to go back.
The food was delicious! My son took me there for Mother’s Day and it was fabulous! We can’t wait to go back again! Everyone was so nice from the girls outside who checked our reservation and took our temperature on our wrist to the waitress and wait staff! The entrees were great and so was the dessert! Next time I want to try for a reservation in the outside shack, we waited too long so they were all full but we felt perfectly safe inside as the seating was pretty far apart!
Amazing service and incredible food
Recently had lunch and dinner at the Love. Lunch was great. The outdoor seating is excellent and heating system is phenomenal. Food was very good. KS Omelette was tasty. Prices were very fair at lunch. Dinner was not as good and prices seemed too high for what was received. Indoor seating was fine and great atmosphere. Dinner choices seemed a bit limited. Tuna Crudo was excellent as always and the fried cauliflower was better than anticipated. Both entrees were disappointing. Salmon was different and would not get again. The scallops were tasty but there were only 4. $34 for 4 scallops seems a bit much. The asparagus with the scallops was terrible. The whole stalks were served. They were very tough. The bottoms should have been removed,. They were not edible. Very disappointing. Sauce was tasty but could not overcome the asparagus. Cocktails were great. Wine is pricey for what it is. Nice & delicious complimentary apricot pastry at the end.
We loved The Love! Creative menu. Excellent service. Every bite a delight. Go!
We had a delicious meal, beautifully plated and served. Our waiter, Sean, was very professional and welcoming. So nice to be back out enjoying a great Steven Starr meal!
We celebrated our daughter’s graduation. The food was delicious and the waitress was an absolute professional. Very pleasant atmosphere. Love the Love ❤️
A wonderful lunch. The food was amazing. The desserts were spectacular.
