   Our server, Courtney was excellent. The burgers were great. Have to say that the drinks were quite expensive. That would be the only negative. Otherwise, overall a good night.

   Food was terrible. So disappointed as we have eaten here before and have always found it to be good. The queso cheese dip with brisket came out cold and with a layer of water on top. We sent it back only to find out that the new one was maybe 1 degree warmer, however still had a layer of water. It was inedible and honestly disgusting. Next came out meats…ribs, brisket and burnt ends. All cuts were very tough, to the point it was hard to even bite through. The meat was barely cooked. Fortunately my husband saved our meal and our wallets by bringing the meats home and cooking them himself. 3 hours wrapped at 250 degree and the meat was melting in our mouths. The cornbread and Mac & cheese were about the only things that were good. One of the waitstaff disclosed that they had new kitchen staff. They were severely understaffed. Asked for a water and was brought a coke. Not sure what’s going on there, however we will NOT be back.

   Another great time at the Lucky Well! Had the Chopped Salad with Grilled Salmon. So glad a fish option is back! Great, unique salad and added a perfectly cooked salmon fillet. Stay for the music! Live bands, lots of blues, great drinks.

   We really appreciated the service of Casey. She was very accommodating. We were somewhat disappointed that the online menu did not accurately depict what is actually available. Some of my party have dietary restrictions and it appeared online that certain foods were available that weren’t. Casey explained that there is a new chef and the website has not been updated. This should be addressed. Overall we had a pleasant dining experience.

   Casual anniversary dinner was perfect for us. We ordered the dry rub chicken wings with sauces on the side, the ribs, and the brisket to share. Also tried the bbq beans, mac n cheese, and a baked potato. Everything was delicious and we have plenty of leftovers for another meal tomorrow. Our server was great and stayed on top of things even though he was quite busy! Very enjoyable dinner… highly recommend.

   This bbq is top notch, we had the ribs and brisket, even the roasted carrots were unique and flavorful, our waitress was great, fast and pleasant . There was a band there that night, and it was not too loud. I was pleasantly surprised I would recommend this restaurant for the food and service for anyone that wants authentic barbecue.

    Ribs were terrific, burgers were just okay. Waitress was not great but good help is hard to find everywhere. Loved the ambiance!

    Waitress took appetizer order then never came back to take meal order until I had to find her after we finished appetizers (after being seated for over 30 min) Then she has attitude and basically was cold to us when meals came ….the moles pork and clams with miso was not as good as the first time we ate here..the pork shoulder was fatty and luke warm ..and for the price it was not worth it ..and the waitesss just handed check without asking about dessert or if we needed anything

    It was apparent that they were very short staffed. Our serve was nice, but forgetful. It took 50 minutes to get our drinks. Food came out first. Great flavor but cold. Also a bit pricey considering the amount of food we got and the service we had.

    Loved our meal at The Lucky Well and will definitely be returning. Hoping they might be offering coffee by then; was surprised to hear it’s not on the menu, especially when the desserts are as rich as they seem to be. A small quibble; great experience!

    Great food as usual; solid service that came with personalized recommendations. Our only qualm is that it was so loud we really had difficulty hearing each other. We left sooner than we intended because of it. The Barn room could really benefit from sound absorption measures.

    The service was decent. The food was horrible. The brisket fries were literally fries soaked in brisket grease. The actual brisket was like eating jerky absolutely gross and for some reason the bark had a huge layer of salt. The burnt pork belly ends were not edible. They were extremely hard, no flavor, and had to have been days old. The burger was a frozen patty not even heated well. The sides were ok but for the price outrageous. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

    We came for New Year’s Eve. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! I had the burger… best ever!! We had the shrimp, brisket, ribs, wings, lobster dish and ended w the brisket brownies. Best!!!

    we sat close to your service window and I couldn't help but notice that the woman who was running the food window for the runners was either biting her nails or licking her fingers on occasion while handling plates for customers. I would advise that this person either wear gloves or NOT have her fingers in her mouth while handling food for customers.

    Was told that there was an excellent selection of draft beers. Unfortunately the night we were there the taps were non functional and had to try a can of beer, no glass. Food was great. Service felt a bit rushed. Ordered some for to go so that table could be cleared.Would like to try again when we could spend more time and try more of menu.

    We did a little research on their website and it sound like a fantastic. Barbecue place. Arriving there, the ambiance and everything about this place looked like a cool hipster barbecue place with a great ambiance and service was outstanding. The big deal for us was that the website touted American barbecue - smoked - it sounded wonderful but what we got was a fusion barbecue. It had Japanese fusion which was NOT expected and not really welcomed when one looked forward to an western/American barbecue. They infused some of these spices with no mention of them in their menu. For example, if you order the stater queso dip with smoked brisket (sounds amazing right?). Should have been delicious but while eating it you are tasting something that isn’t quite right. They added tahini to it. It doesn’t state it anywhere and you can definitely taste it. Our server, who was just lovely and helpful, told us what it contained after we asked her about it. If you order the burger with Mayo, it is Kewpie Mayo which is a Japanese Mayo. I happened to enjoy the fusion flavors but others in my party did not when they were expecting American smoked barbecue so it doesn’t make for a nice dinner experience.

    We love this restaurant but hadn't been back for a bit. We started with the deviled eggs and brussel sprouts, both were delicious! We got four different meals and each of us loved our choices. The service was solid, only complaint would be that it was loud to begin with but the music was playing even louder! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

    Lucky well was a pleasant surprise I don’t live in the area but I rent a garage for my business near by and decided to try the restaurants in the area. I picked the lucky well because I am a BBQ lover . The service was awesome I mean fast and they are on top of things . I ordered brisket , ribs , fries , corn bread and collard greens and a flight of burbon whiskey. I always expect the brisket to be dry , NOT here it was very moist and the ribs were cooked to perfection with a dry rub the bourbon flight was the best $20.00 I spent in 3 years and the combo was perfect . I cook bbq so it was nice to get something this good that I didn’t have to cook . Top Notch !!!
