Some of the food was just not right. The Gumbo was watered down and just not like New Orleans southern Gumbo. they should follow any recipe from a cookbook. The meatloaf was terrible and everything on the plate was smothered with not so good gravy. The peach cobbler came in a mug; no crust just peaches and a scoop of ice cream. This used to be a great restaurant (Celestines) celebrated by the city for over 30 years. When the moved to the new location and changed the name things started to go downhill, but even then, it was still a good restaurant. But now it's just terrible and it was a completely empty place with only 4 to 5 tables filled at a 6pm dinner time. I am so sorry to write this review, but you asked.

Extremely friendly, funny host welcomed us. Lively place with lots of patrons having brunch. Menu is innovative and interesting featuring New Orleans take on trad stuff. Food was delicious, service friendly and efficient. Will return.

It took quite a while for the food to come out, almost an hour, but the server was wonderful and the food was quite tasty.

Friendly staff, not rushed. Parking App outside confusing, just give me a meter!! Too many good menu choices . Small plate plenty as i was getting dessert also. Small Po Boy was huge!!

Slowest service we’ve ever experienced. Our server checked on us 3 separate times, but never intervened or checked on the status of our order. Our food came out a full 50 minutes since ordering. Unfortunately it seemed like they were waiting on one part of our meal to finish cooking in order to serve (why someone would serve house potatoes as WHOLE potatoes during brunch is beyond me). Our food came out cold, we took a couple bites and decided to head home. The atmosphere is great but head chef needs to work on timing.

It was wedding dress shopping day for my daughter and this was the perfect location for a quick break. John was fantastic! He called to ask for my daughter’s name so he could personalize the menu and got us quickly seated to a better location to chat about our day! Initially the service was a little slow but overall great experience with yummy food! Thank you for helping to make my daughter’s day even more special!
