   From the moment we were greeted until leaving, the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Attention we received was excellent. Menu was somewhat unique in selection of entree’s , and they were wonderful…. For travelers coming through the area, it was a lovely evening.

   A fabulous dining experience! We were seated quickly, and the service was outstanding. Very attentive staff, checking on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed, the food was exceptional and even the drinks were incredible, I ventured out of my comfort zone and had a brandywine treaty which was a cognac cocktail and it was even better tasting than I could have envisioned. I would say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had easily! A must try!!!

   This is our second time here. The service is amazing. Our waiter was so good The Sangria also amazing. That is where it ends. The food is boring and overpriced. I had the wagyu beef, which sounded like a beef pot pie. It was not. It was ground beef. It was supposed to have carrots and parsnips. I had exactly one parsnip. Overseasoned mashed potatoes on top. Very few choices on the menu, so you expect perfection in what they do serve. We probably won't go back

   We were seated immediately upstairs in a balcony area and greeted right away by David our server. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Our food was delicious and we never felt rushed. There were a number of other wait staff who kept our water glasses filled and our plates were removed quickly. This was our third time dining here and previously sat in the main dining room near a cozy fire. Service and food were excellent then as well. A bonus at this restaurant is a their private parking lot. It is popular so highly recommend a reservation.

   We recently celebrated a birthday at The Puddle Dock. The food was very well prepared and the service was excellent. We will be back.

   Arrived early before a show at the Player's Ring. I can't say enough good things about the service, especially our server, David. He was personable, attentive, had many good suggestions and followed up with any issues we had. Haven't had many servers as good as David. The food was thoughtfully prepared and had some interesting twists to the dishes. My Wagyu cottage pie arrived warm, not hot and David quickly brought it back to the kitchen to be heated. The desserts were the highlight of the meal, dark chocolate pudding and a lemon meringue tart that was so delicious!

    This gem of a restaurant is tucked in Strawberry Banke. The food, ambiance and service are top tier and this place is a must visit if you come to Portsmouth, NH.
