Came with my wife for a Wedding Anniversary dinner. Was our first visit, but we really enjoyed the food and ambience. Recommended - will hopefully return in the future.
A warm, friendly atmosphere, always very welcoming. The choice of food is excellent, as is the cheerful service.
Definitely our favourite place to eat! Highly recommend it!
Service was awesome. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food however was just okay, both starter and main, but couldn’t complain for the price we paid. Food didn’t have much flavour and my halloumi was burnt.
It was busy in the restaurant but we were made to feel very special. The kitchen substituted a food item for me without fuss to avoid my allergy. The meals were well presented and of a very high standard. Service was excellent and pricing was good.
Nice place have been before many times maybe change the menu will go again very satisfied on this occasion
The food was more interesting than in many pubs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Lovely as usual
Lovely food and setting. Staff always amazing
A lovely postcard worthy village pub nestled in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire with its period features throughout the village and pub itself making for a charming destination for all occasions.
The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The food was very warming and comforting, we had the goats cheese with beetroot to start and I had the signature dish The Stars Burger for main. My fiancée now wife (pre wedding meal out) had the halloumi burger and said it was delicious and I quote “the perfect level of squeaky for halloumi” make of that as you will :D
Overall this is a firm favourite of ours and cannot recommend the place highly enough.
There is also ample parking and a delightful pub garden.
This was one of the first meals I have had in a restaurant indoors since restrictions were removed. I may have therefore been more excited than usual, but my friend and I had a wonderful experience. Starting with the food, which was delicious. I had the Gazpacho soup and the salmon tagliatelle followed by the cheese board. All were well cooked and more importantly the portion size was just right. With other meals, I have been known to have a sandwich when I return home but that was certainly not the case today. The service was brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. From a COVID-19 point of view all was carefully distanced in case anyone is worried. We originally chose here primarily because they are open on Monday lunchtimes, but from now on this will be my restaurant of choice for all the right reasons
We did have to wait 1hr and 15 mins for our main course. It was very busy but there was not enough serving staff to cover the amount of customers. It was initially very windy where we were seated and arranged for an alternative table. The staff were very apologetic and extremely courteous and polite. The food was excellent as was the marquee where we were seated. This was exceptional as the restaurant is top of my favourites list.
Great food and great beer.
Excellent lunch. Food was delicious and beer was great. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Lovely place friendly staff would definitely recommend and go again
Excellent food and service. Stef very friendly as always. They have managed outdoor dining extremely well. Plenty of gazebos - some with heaters. Blankets are available.
Tables are from inside so you feel you are eating at a proper restaurant
We loved being back at The Seven Stars!
A great welcome, great service & fabulous food!
Thank you Steph & your wonderful team!
Great village pub with wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is excellent
This was my first visit back to The Seven Stars and I was very excited. The staff were friendly and efficient and the organisation with respect to COVID was very good. Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment, my friend’s risotto was under cooked and my soup tasted solely of mustard. The portions were not generous. I really hope that this was a ‘one off’ as I like the pub and have had several good celebratory meals here in the past. We did mention our displeasure to the waitress but there was scant reaction.
So lovely to be back again, great to see Steph, must be the best welcome for miles around!!!!!
Fab food, excellent service and sooooooo good to have a pint in the black stuff again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you soon Steph, many thanks,
Peter & Jan
Wonderful food in beautiful surroundings with an attentive host. Nothing is too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. A very pleasurable lunchtime experience. Thank you Seven Stars.
Lovely, pub, relaxed atmosphere. Child friendly. Kind staff, lovely little village.
We felt very welcome and lots of nice outside tables.
Lovely food. Everything was delicious, one of our favourite places to eat.
As usual the food and service were very good.
Excellent service. The restaurant is cosy with good spaced out tables. The food is very good with a varied menu and daily specials
Nice food served by very friendly and helpful staff
Always welcoming and nice food in pleasant but not crowed environment
A great meal in fantastic friendly environment. Great staff and food. Well Done!
All super.... Staff, food, everything. Will be back!
Nice location and great food with good attentive service.
Lovely country pub with amazing food. Stephanie couldn’t be a better host. We have eaten here so many times nad always have a lovely time
The food was excellent, and so was the service. The lady in charge was very happy to chat about things and we look forward to going back soon.
Great food and such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Hats off to Steph and her merry band to getting it just right as ever. Well spaced tables and observing of SD rules and the most beautiful food. If it is on the menu, you must try the haddock with rosti and the most perfectly poached egg I have ever had. I can't recommend this pub highly enough, fabulous restaurant food in a charming, warm and friendly environment.
Take away available during lockdown too... I will be booking my pick up for a Sunday roast well in advance for next week!
Good variety of tasty dishes, with friendly staff and service
A really lovely pre-lockdown lunch. Always a perfect and comfortable place to be! Well done and thanks to all. Look forward to our next sitting
Fabulous food, friendly and engaged staff, warm and beautiful surroundings. Definitely recommend.
Thanks to Steph and the team for great food and great service in homely surroundings. My favourite local restaurant. What a pity lockdown is going to prevent us going back for a while, though I'm sure a Seven Stars takeaway will taste just as good.
As usual the food was amazing, Steph and the team were as friendly, welcoming and accommodating as always. Such a lovely vibe and perfect food, what more could you ask for.?
A fantastic meal served by friendly, welcoming and attentive staff in a gorgeous setting. A relaxed and safe environment - just what we wanted.
The service we received was absolutely amazing. The staff couldn’t try harder to help with anything
Even made my daughter a custom lunch which she loved
I would definitely recommend this pub
