The Tappit Hen
The ground floor bar is the perfect place to explore the wine list including a by-the-glass selection using Coravin and an extensive collection of Port and fortified wines; while modern British cooking will be served in the restaurant and private dining rooms.
The Tappit Hen takes its name from the traditional 2.1 litre Port bottle and is situated in the former London home of the Sandeman Port house. Look out for subtle references to the building’s rich, wine history throughout.
First visit to The Tappit Hen. Lovely menu options and nice wine list. Super friendly service. Will be back soon.
Delicious potted shrimps on crumpet and COD was perfect all rounded off with a half bottle of Pouilly Fuisse and excellent service. Delicious.
We had nibbles to share which we lovely with curry nice wine. The only downside was the music. On some point the music became very loud. Not quite the place for it. This place is more about sharing a drink with friends and catch up.
