The Vue

Meals was okay but there are plenty of room to improve the service. The lady served us never smile. She seems not enjoy whst she does. After had words with her, improved a lot.

Tried to give my Mother in law someone else's rejected order(happened to be the same as hers). It was cold and was handed to her just as our entrees arrived???Questionable...
Salads were overpriced. Creme Brulee was soggy no hard Brulee top....Why?
Kids meal overpriced.
Quality issues when my Mother In Law receiving someone else's charred cold steak 5 min after ordering, while we just received our entrees was really poor. Because of all of the above will not visit again.
On the up side the service wait staff were great though. Fish Taco and crunchy chick peas was also nice. The oysters were fresh fresh fresh.

We ordered and didn't see food for over an hour, the food when it did arrive was tasteless and very expensive for a bowl of green leaves and five very small slices of lamb each piece would have been about an inch square and very thin. the crispy chicken was so crispy all the way through, very dry and tasteless also came with a bowl of leaves and very expensive for what it is. The Mushroom dish didn't even taste like mushroom and was not eaten at all. I would never eat there again, unless the cooks were replaced and a new menu was offered. Terrible dining experience. The staff did take 3 meals off the tab, the cost was still over $200. there was only 1 alcoholic drink each a very expensive place when we had to go else where and eat as everyone was still very hungry. Not for us.

Seniors deal. Food was average, but everything else was ok.

The food was cold, we waited half an hour for cold food

Miss the buffet but the a la carte menu is still commendable. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are still the best there is since we began eating here five years back. Sad to see the liveliness of the Vue toned down due to the pandemic but it's so good to see that the standards of service and food preparation are still way up there. Great work ! We come to The Vue for family special occasions and will keep doing so. Thank you to everyone involved from the kitchen, to the wait staff and reception for always making us feel welcome.

We went there for the buffet but they have stop doing the buffet, not good

Enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return next time we are in Darwin.

Seemed very understaffed. Food was nice but my steak was slightly cold.... my husbands came with a anchovy butter which was lovely but his steak was also slightly cold it hardly melted the butter. My drink was forgotten not once but twice. Still over all a nice venue and tasty food just very evident that staffing was an issue that night. My in-laws how ever had a lovely lamb rack share platter and my daughter enjoyed her pasta dish very much!

This is the worst place I have ever eaten at.
Glass on my table was dirty had lipstick on it.
I had to tell the waiter.
Also table was sticky... not cleaned properly.
Food was very expensive for what it was. (Crap).
Small selection to choose from.
Ordered a hot dog for my child.
We got served our food but the hot dog was Still cooking apparently! That’s what I was told.
Than 5 minutes later I was told the hot dog no good can’t give it to you! Unreal.
My ceaser salad tasted like it was 5 day’s old.
Egg was under cooked and really really cold. Prawns looked like they were brought from coles or woolies and were served at room temperature.
The service was crap!
I will never go back there again.
Don’t waste your money and time at this place.
Also can’t reach management to put in a complaint.

Had the lamb rack special. Sensational.
Also the manager had a good knowledge of the wine list.

Specials were excellent. Has more of a canteen experience than a restaurant
