My wife and I had a superb meal at the Warren last night. The Cote de Boeuf was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive- special thanks to Olivier and we would highly recommend a visit here. An excellent wine list and it is a nice feature that the majority of the menu is sourced locally from the Crowborough Warren Estate.
Superb evening out. Great hosts, exemplar food and wine. Highly recommended.
Great service, very friendly staff and the food and drinks were lovely. The atmosphere was just right, giving a sense of occasion. We’ll definitely be back
roast was average and service was slow. Disappointing as my prior visit was much better.
Another wonderful evening at The Warren. Honestly, the service here is first class and the food is delicious. Would heartily recommend.
Our first time at this venue and it was a magnificent experience in all ways. We will definitely return to try other menu items.
Recommend to anyone wanting a great meal, ambience good wine . Don’t be in a hurry, this is not a quick meal.
Sadly what a bit of a shock that when it came to settling up it was found that we could not use our Amex card as we had always done in the . This was put down to an error with the new card machine. I await with interest.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with our girls. The food and service were amazing!
What a lovely experience. Four of us for dinner with my two mini dachshunds.
Food was delicious with a great menu and staff were friendly and efficient.
Couldn’t ask for more.
The staff and service was wonderful. The restaurant itself is very pretty and well laid out.The food was nice, but a bit underwhelming.
* chose to eat on a Sat afternoon
* abysmal driving around Tonbridge Wells started the visit of on a poor footing
* disliked the steep stairs to the rest [there is a stairlift]
* once seated, service was good
* Really enjoyed the food
* a good restaurant which [if I can bear the traffic] I will revisit
Phenomenal food & service.
Can’t recommend this gem enough.
It was fabulous. Great service, lovely friendly people. Food was delicious too. Overall a great experience and evening.
I took my girlfriend here for a celebratory dinner and boy were we not disappointed. Food was first rate, service was excellent and general ambience was delightful, a real treat. I’ll happily recommend to friends to come to this wonderful restaurant and I look forward to returning in the future.
72nd Birthday surprise for my wife.
Immediately when we arrived we were informed there was a wedding party on the next table, approx 14 guests which was no problem to us at all.
Then we were told by the waiter that service would be a little slower than normal, and we accepted within reason.
However, we arrived at the restaurant at 7. 10 pm for 7.15 booking. Whilst waiting we were given bread and butter. We were also given a small narrow glass of a coriander and cream mixture. No spoon was supplied and we noted on the next table a gentleman was using a knife to scoop it out.!
The first course starter was served to us at around 8. 20 pm, the empty plates were also not removed for at least half hour. The main meal arrived approx nearly one hour later. During the whole period of time no one served the wine to us. We could go on, and on, But in a nutshell, the restaurant fell below what we reasonably expected and according to their dining literature.
Finally, it is the first time in our regular dining out in over 50 years that my husband requested the optional service charge to be removed from our bill.
Unfortunately, it was our worse dining out experience ever.
Lovely anniversary meal. Attentive staff and fabulous food. Great atmosphere. Totally recommend
Not the experience I was looking forward to. Very dissapointing on many levels.
The meal was mediocre at best. The muscles were good and the bread and butter was good. The lamb dinner was over priced. It was over cooked and quite fatty. To top it off they charged 2£ for PPE! Over 18 months of Covid not had that charge before. Just to add the staff weren't all wearing masks and were just small bottles of sanitizer on the table. Just a bit of a stretch that they charge that.
Food and service was outstanding, extremely impressed with everything about our evening.
Great for meat and drink. Nice venue and service, and great estate to table approach.
We wanted good food near the station. The Warren delivered excellent food from a quirky, unusual and slightly mysterious menu. Once we grasped what to order each dish turned out to be delicious. Well cooked mussels. Pigeon breast salad. Cote de boeuf. Clafoutis. All presented cheerfully but precisely in a cosy corner of a fascinating building . Good wines too. Not cheap but well worth paying for an unusual experience.
Fabulous food and wine and a fun evening. Recommend The Warren for a special night out.
Great welcome, very friendly and efficient service, great food.
Lovely feel to the place. Great staff and good valve food. The wine was expensive
Probably one of the best dining experience I have had in south east!
Brilliant staff, brilliant food only disappointment is not enough rocket on the carpaccio.
Amazing. Wonderful experience. Great food and service
Very nice place for a relaxing dinner in centre of TWells
The Sunday roast set menu is fantastic quality and value!
Delightful interior and friendly service. We had the charcouterie, battered haddock, tuna and macarons. All delicious . Surprisingly good value. Massive portions. Recommended
We loved the Warren. The food was outstanding and the staff were great. Not rushed at all & everything cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and quirky surroundings. We will be back.
Friendly, knowledgeable, service backed by expertly judged cooking. We had a superbly executed French classic, Cote de Boeuf, and drank a luscious Sedlescombe red from East Sussex. The people of Tunbridge Wells are very lucky!
Really good service and excellent food - second time there and will definitely go back when next in town
We had been a few years ago and knew it was good so decided to go with 2 close friends we had not seen for 2 years.
It was wonderful. Service was excellent and great advice and suggestions on sauces etc to accompany dishes.
All the food was amazing. The beef carpaccio was so thinly sliced it melted in your mouth. The Cote de beouff so tender and succulent. But pork chop, lamb and other started were a joy.
Very happy and would highly recommend for a lovely location in which to enjoy superb local produce cooked and prepared with love and great taste.
The venue and staff were very good. Food fell a little short with respect to mains. We had the Sunday Roast. Whilst it was generally ok, it didn’t appear to be cooked to medium at best - it was definitely over done. The Yorkshire’s weren’t too flash either. A lot of gastro-pubs would hands down beat the offering at the price point.
Food very good. Waiters forgot about us for iver 45 mins. Would have better rating from us if this had not happened.
Good portion size, good service, enjoyed our meal.
Wonderful ambience, food and friendly staff. A fabulous dining experience in the mosy beautiful venue.
A first-class restaurant, serving exceptional-quality food, but in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
Excellent restaurant: French classics with a twist, great cellar and great service. You get what you pay for!
Very very good throughout. Food, wine, service, ambience.... Will definitely revisit.
