It was our first of hopefully many times at the Thirsty Dice! We had a great time playing games and having a few drinks. Their drinks were well-crafted and their food was pretty good as well. I had hoped they would have had a bit more to offer for dinner, but for the type of business they run, their menu made sense. At the end of the day, it was a fabulous evening. Our server, Sam, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us figure out a game that we enjoyed so much, we ended up buying a version of it at the end of the night. We will definitely be back and will bring friends! Everyone should take a night here.

Great place to take kids or play games with friends. The drink menu is good, the food (eh) is edible and my kids were happy with it, but the games were extensive and the music was most excellent.

Fair warning they charge you $5 per person per games choose your first game wisely and don’t play too many. Other than that food was good, drinks were great. Our service wasn’t great but everyone has a bad day I didn’t mind. Overall super fun just beware of quickly wracking up the bill with too many games

I am very sorry that you were misinformed, but we only ask all guests pay a $5 per person library pass to help maintain our library of over 800 games. While you are here, you are free to play as many games as you like. All reservations are good for 2 hours at this time, and if you are able to play 30 games during 2 hours, we fully encourage while still only charging $5 per person. Thank you for taking the time to review, we appreciate the feedback on the service and food.

My wife loves board games. So, for a postponed Mother’s Day, our son and I chose this spot. It was perfect - great vibe, and a whole bunch of games.

Food-wise, I thought it was good, but not great - I’d have loved a few more menu options, and the chai and even milkshakes felt a bit over-sweetened - even our 13-year-old couldn’t drink his whole milkshake. The sandwiches were solid, but not exciting. Like I say, solidly good.

But, as a spot? AMAZING. Great service - friendly, detailed, attentive. Great atmosphere. And it’s designed to be accommodating to a slow table turnover - you get 2 hours to play whatever game (or games) you select.

Do note there’s a $5/player “game tax” that covers 2 hours of hangout & play - which makes sense, as it’d be easy to just order a single cup of coffee and then play for hours.

Great selection of games - well over 200 options, with everything from traditional classics to complex new stuff (Azul is clearly popular there; we played a Blue Orange game called Evolution: Climate Edition).

Totally great spot - I hope they stay open for many years to come.

Our first time here was not our last! The staff was very friendly and energetic. The game options are extraordinary and the game master was excellent at explaining the game we chose. The food was very tasty - having a gluten allergy, the menu was very clearly marked what items were GF. Looking forward to returning!

Waiter was not helpful and energy was dry. I was disappointed in the Mac & cheese, and the tacos should consist of three and not Two. Standard number of tacos provided at most restaurants is 3.

I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your evening at Thirsty Dice. I thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. In regards to the tacos, we recognize that a lot of our customers, including your reservation that night, are couples. Most of our menu is designed to share, we feel two tacos work well for our guests currently. That being said, we will absolutely take the feedback you have provided and grow from it. Please ask for Dylan next time, he'll be happy to help!

Website and when seated stated $5 library fee per person IF check out a game to play. Surprise...even if you do not check out a game still charged the per person library fee. We discovered after our credit cards were already run. We were told this was a recent change in policy, the charge could not be cancelled and rerun, and we were not given a receipt for the refund we supposedly will receive on our credit cards. We were told if we don't receive the refund, we should call and ask to speak with the manager. Food was mediocre. First drink was great. Second drink (same order) was mostly ice.

2 friends and I went for a drink and snacks after walking around the penetentiary museum. I'm glad it had been recommended to me. I observed everyone taking care to sanitize. Jake was our server and gave attentive service and great recommendations for drinks (definitely checkout the Crossfire cocktail). We shared nachos, short rib french dip, tots, and fried pickles. Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. I will definitely be returning with friends for a fun game night out! The game selection seems endless

Sarah, thank you for take the time to review. We will be re-establishing outdoor dining this month! We had a hard time providing a great guest experience matching the volatility in weather with our games and heating towers. We hope that you join us again soon, outdoors or indoors, and when you do, ask for Dylan. He'll be able to provide our "Thank You" discount.
