   Disappointing! Specifically made a reservation for outdoors, even confirmed as requested, but on arrival we were told the outdoor dining was closed. Interior ambiance was not to our taste, service could have been better. Started with the seafood and avocado salad, which was excellent. Our selection of rolls were OK, each selection must have included a common sauce, which overpowered the subtleties of the different compositions. Overall, it was acceptable but there are better places for sushi.

   We love sushi and have gone to Tokyo Bay twice before this visit. Overall, it's a decent restaurant, but it is filthy dirty in there. They desperately need to hire a cleaning crew to regularly dust, mop, etc. The food is good but sitting in a dirty restaurant kind of spoils the whole experience. I'm honestly surprised their inspectors haven't made them clean better. In the time it took to wait for our table to be ready, I could've cleaned the whole lobby if they'd handed me a mob & dust rag. There's really no excuse for it looking like that.

   We loved this place for a family celebration, including 4 - and 6 year old grand children. It started with the tiki bar and the koi fish pond. The service and food were excellent. Dennis, the owner, is right there in the mix of a very busy place, making sure things are running smoothly. I was very impressed.

   We had the greatest time with our family. Service was the best. Berto was our Hibachi cook and made all the difference. He was nice and fun and made a spectacular show for all of us. I will definitely be going back and asking for him!

    Chef at the hibachi was entertaining. He was attentive to our needs and preferences. Steak and shrimp were not seasoned. Could have been much better. Scallops were delicious. The rice and veggies were great.

    The food done on the hibachi looked good. I ordered yakisoba with chicken and it came from the kitchen. It must have been sitting under a heat lamp for sone time. As the chicken was so hard that I couldn’t even chew it. Service was extremely slow and our waitress rarely checked back. Last time going there!

    We have been to this restaurant several times before. When we arrived, we didn’t see a waitress for a very long time so we inquired of such. We had a nice young waitress show up at our table and was doing the best she could. We waited a long time for the food, When the food arrived at the table, it wasn’t hot. I was hungry, so I just ate mine as I didn’t want it wait any longer. My husband sent his meal back and waited a while for the new dish to be delivered, we are not sure if they were understaffed

    Long wait for greasy food. Salad was very good, but entree was swimming in oil. Hot tea was not hot, she never offered refill. Serving a large pot of luke warm tea doesn't preclude offering more hot water.

    We made reservations and arrived on time. The restaurant was mostly empty but it took 45 minutes before our chef arrived. Food was ok but we expected better. Service was terrible, our drinks were never refilled. Took 30 minutes for waitress to bring check afer we finished eating and that was only after we got up to find her and ask for it. Then, the bill was almost triple what it should have been, they had added someone else’s meals to our check. We won’t be going back to this restaurant.

    Not a good experience…first of all, the walls around our table were all banged up…the place definitely needs to be freshened up. My soup tasted like soap. We had been there for an hour and a half and had only received one of our two appetizers. The second appetizer arrived with our food. When we asked why it was taking so long for 3 sushi rolls and 2 entrees, we were given a pretty lame excuse and then suddenly our food appeared. I would not go back. Used to be our friends favorite place to go so that’s why we went but we were all disappointed.

    The only thing to complain about was the seating as they obviously overbooked for the evening. Our reservation was made well in advance but our party of 5 was placed awkwardly at an 8 person hibachi table that already had 5 at it leaving 2 of our party not even at the grill and the chef’s back to us. Since the show is part of the dining experience it was disappointing. HOWEVER, shout out to our chef, Pedro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ who went out of his way to turn around frequently and make sure that they were included in the night. The food was fabulous and the presentation was very enjoyable. Pedro is a fantastic host. 😊

    Food was very good and above average for a hibachi style Japanese restaurant, with exception of the shrimp. They were rubbery and fishy tasting. The filet was excellent and the chicken was delicious (I normally do not like chicken at hibachi because it’s usually overbooked and dry). Overall it was a great experience, but pricey.
