Food was absolutely delicious and the bottomless plates and drinks for brunch really made it a value. The only problem I experienced was the waitress seating me indoors when I requested outdoor seating during reservation. Other than that, it was a phenominal experience.
Food was delicious, great wine and outstanding service, I’m glad they are open and willing to safety accommodate customers during this pandemic.
Great experience with very good service. We ate outdoors, which was nice, but they’d do well to add in some citronella candles or fans, since it got a little buggy. However, the excellent food, amazing drinks, and friendly service means I’ll definitely be going back.
Amazing food, good service and attention, great selection of wines, nice quiet atmosphere.
My experience was amazing. I received a 5 star meal as well as service. The waitress gave amazing suggestions. My friends would recommend this place to any and all. Thank you!
I had a reservation for brunch. I arrived before my dining companion and the maitre d' offered me a drink while I waited. It turned into almost a 30 minute wait, but the maitre d' assured me that we would still be seated when my companion arrived. I was offered a margarita while waiting. It was disappointing...very watery and bitter...maybe the agave nectar had been omitted. We were seated immediately when my companion arrived. We tried the Bloody Mary and after a few sips, we decided they tasted as if it was merely tomato juice and a very small amount of vodka. There were no garnishments. Our food came immediately. The brunch doesn't offer very much for vegetarians. The only vegetarian items were the fruit cocktail, huevos rancheros, empanada with corn and cheese, and plaintains. My dining companion, a carnivore, said the other dishes weren't all that great. It was very difficult to converse during our meal. The restaurant is a very large space and conversations seemed to be bouncing off the walls. It could be because the floors are concrete. Also, the restaurant was not even half full, so there was really nothing to absorb the sounds. But, the service was exceptional. And, they were very good about cleaning between diners. Once the pandemic is over, I would give ToroToro another try...not for brunch, but possibly dinner.
Great food and atmosphere with Awesome service! Definitely worth the price for the meals provided.
Food is fantastic and they have great margaritas! Empanadas are sensational and the grilled chorizo is my favorite!
Toro Toro is fantastic. I miss going there regularly since I'm not working in the district anymore. Both the food and the service is great. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Great experience and very fun... will be back!
My favorite brunch spot! The food is amazing as well as the service. Definitely recommend!
Amazing!!!! Thank you!
Great Sunday brunch.
Excellent food and service.
Wonderful food and service. Will definitely be returning.
The loud music was hard to communicate with the waiter.
From our host to the wonderful wait staff, the experience was delightful! Attentive and knowledgeable about what to eat and drink, the meal was scrumptious. Everything tasted amazing. Really appreciated the dining experience!
All you can eat dinner for $45. Great food, great service, great ambiance.
First time, brunch menu is limited to mostly eggs dishes, the other items were ok, nothing truly inventive. The bottomless brunch is a good deal, if you’re really hungry or in a big group. Place is loud, lots of large groups so you can’t expect anything else.
We had an amazing experience our waitress was super attentive.
nice brunch spot. some dishes were ok. some other dishes like tue ceviche, were dissapoonting
Great service and the food was delicious!
If you like Spivey food, this is your place. Items that were indicated as non Sp
I asked for a meal with no carrots (which I am allergic to) and no changes were made by the chef.
Excellent food. Authentic, tasty and generous.
They changed the brunch menu from Buffett to family dining style. My friends and I didn’t like that option and left.
❤️it. I enjoyed the brunch . My friends and I will be back again soon
I came here for my birthday on a Sunday for Brunch!
I highly recommend Toro Toro for brunch!
My friends & I loved it!
I chose this place based off of other reviews & I have to say everything was spot on.
The food was delicious.
The drinks were fun & delicious.
The service was good! I believe the server’s name was Roberto or Alberto? He did a great job, dealing with my girl friends & I!
We had a lot of fun.
Everyone around us at other tables seemed to be having a good time too!
I work in the restaurant industry, so I pay attention to things alittle differently when & wherever I go out... for here, I can truly say I had a great birthday here!
I definitely would come back & will be coming back!
Amazing food, amazing service.
Was a fun great experience. The food was really good and came out fast.
I read through reviews before coming here and the service was extremely disappointing. I came gonna date and chose the la familia option (all you can eat and chose the all you can drink option as well) as it had positive reviews. We stayed the full 2 hours only because the service was so bad. After sitting it took the server 20 minutes to take our first order, he apologized and stated they were recording for film and that was pulling him away. The server took forever to bring anything we ordered, and never brought multiple dishes that we ordered over the 2 hour period. It took an average of 30 minutes to get anything we ordered. The dishes that were meant to be warm or hot were always cold, it was the biggest disappointment I have had in DC to date. So to sum it up for the price (roughly 150 before tip for two this is definitely not worth it)
Great time with a great friend eating great food.
The guacamole con atun is perfection.
The roasted beets are expertly balanced with the goat cheese and apple.
The arroz chaufa is heavenly!
Excellent food very tasty and interesting combinations, fabulous waitress with positive vibe although the bar was extremely loud during happy hour & the back of the restaurant was closed for a “photo shoot.”
La Bamba – desert is definitely worth a try if you have more than two people.
It had a great ambiance and very helpful staff.
The server took 45 mins with our drinks and never came to check up on us. She also didn’t bring us water til 30 mins after we sat down. The food was really good, only thing that ruined the experience was the service.
Pricey for the size of the plate but everything was delicious. Service was just OK. It felt like the waitress was trying to turn over the table as fast as possible. The place is very very noisy
Decor was wonderful and our server was very attentive. She explained the menu and the style of dining, and made sure that we had the bottomless experience. Our glasses were rarely empty.
Amazing brunch. Lots of food to choose from. We got the bottomless brunch. Way to much food but was nice to try everything. Service was great too
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Great service and food. The tapas were very good and varied. Their unlimited menu is a great value for the food.
The service was very slow and not all items made it to the table. The food that did arrive at the table, however, was delicious.
