Hadn't been to Trattoria Marcella since the pandemic. Food & service was exceptional as always. We were even seated where the head table was set-up for my son's rehearsal dinner some 15 years ago. A little nostalgia

Everything was absolutely fantastic. Food is outstanding. T-ravs are some of the best we have ever had! Our server was overwhelmed — too many tables to wait on. We had no problem and felt bad for her. Just a terrific meal! Thanks for an awesome time!

Other than the restaurant being a bit too dark (couldn’t read menu), everything was wonderful. Waiter (been there for 19 years) was very knowledgeable. Food was as described. Very popular place. Will go back again, for sure.

It's a little tight and dark at the front watson street table by the windows. The waitress did raise the side window blind which helped Also would love it if something other than bread came with the hummus. Carrot sticks? Cucumber? Gluten free crackers? The hummus is delish and so is the bread but would love the option

Great service, tasty food. There was a gentleman waiter that had a gold vest on with a gold necklace. I didn’t catch his name but he was the best. Very friendly and quality service. My friends and I loved him. Also loved the low lights and candle light.

The food was delicious, especially the lobster risotto. My veal marsala was perfectly prepared but my sister's lamb chops were undercooked and she had to send them back to be placed on the grill. Service was good but not up to par with what I had expected. Our waiter had too many tables to do a great job.

We made a 7:00 pm reservation to celebrate our 55th anniversary last evening, bringing along two friends who have never been there. The bar was packed; we were not seated for about 20 minutes even though we were there at 7:00; and the noise level was awful. I was embarrassed that we had brought our friends to Trattoria Marcella.

We have visited several times over the years, and this place never disappoints! Had the calamari/spinach- a favorite! then tried the rigatoni for first time vs the lobster risotto.....LOVED!!! My husband had the chicken risotto, and was very good as well. Even treated ourselves to tiramisu! thanks for a great night, and love seeing our experienced (19 years he said) server to help guide us with wine/other choices- much appreciated! thanks!

The food was excellent as usual, however, our waitress either was really bad or didn’t want to be there last night. For example, she didn’t tell us about the specials until we asked (we’ve dined there several times). Then when she did go over the specials she was very short. It came across like fish with pasta in red sauce. It’s not exactly what she said but she might’ve just said that. Everyone in my party said the same thing about our waitress being the most unenthusiastic waitress/waiter in a long time as we were leaving.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Very loud inside, but that happens at the 8pm Saturday night seating. Only negative was we got basil lemonade. The server told us there was a charge for a refill, returned to tell us it was gone for the day. Asked if we’d like a soda. Yes. Got coffee after dinner. Got charged for all three. I don’t expect comp coffee when a drink has been ordered, but it’s nice. The soda charge was excessive(we ordered 2 apps, 5 entrees, 5 desserts). Other than that, 5 stars.
