Vermicelli Fish may now be the best, primo restaurant in Philadelphia. The setting and decor of the restaurant make the dining room the prettiest in Philadelphia and the food was even better. This was one of the best meals we have ever had in Philadelphia. We were visiting from Utah, but prior to that we had lived in Philly for 37 years. Fantastic evening. Thank you.
This is really a special Occassion place geared for business meals, millenials but not for seniors
Good creative dishes.
Absolutely amazing. Every dish was delicious, creative, and exciting. Can’t wait to go back!
Philly oysters were delicious. Branzino excellent.
Very underwhelming. A couple dishes we got were very good. All others were below average. Could be just the menu that day didn’t match with what we normally like. I’m sure the menu is constantly changing. If the bill was a third of what it was, I could justify giving it another shot based on all the good reviews. But for how expensive it was, just can’t see myself giving it another try. Too many other good spots in Philly. Hope you have a better experience if you decide to try.
Went for our anniversary on Thursday. The meal and service were outstanding! We started with the caviar appetizer. Caviar is caviar. We then had the tuna tartare. Best I’ve had!! Fresh with a tiny little spice kick that set it off. We then went with more appetizers instead of entrees. I had the pesto spaghetti with crab. I love pest so the dish was great. I also had the oysters Philadelphia. My wife had some fresh oysters and loves them and a crudo, which she wasn’t thrilled with, but everything else was great!
Great service and delicious food if you love seafood as much as we do. Everything was fresh.
Love the concept of this restaurant. Bold move and they are executing it VERY well.
New experience dining!
Food was great. Fresh seafood.
I was hoping they still had the Spanish octopus special and a bit disappointed that the Arctic char w hazelnuts was no longer on the menu but the tuna tartare made up for it!
I really enjoyed the experience.
Food was good, not extraordinary. The ambiance was okay, we were seat in the back. Definitely didn’t live up the hype.
I came for the doversole but it was sold out
Everything else great
A spectacular dining experience. I can not wait to return. The staff is amazing. The food is delicious. The beverages complimented the meal. Simply superb.
Amazing food and great staff which made for perfect night out. Would highly recommend
Fantastic drinks and food and seevice
The food was amazing. They took extra safety precautions to ensure we had a great experience. All of the food was right portioned. The waiter was funny and personable. The ambiance was light and beautiful. We loved it. They only think we didn't like was that they didn't validate parking
Best restaurant in Philly.
We arrived a bit early and the hostess refused to seat us on the comfortable couch in the restaurant. Instead she chose to put us on an uncomfortable bench in the lobby. Unpleasant seat abs especially rude.
The main courses were limited and heavier on non-fish seafood, despite the ‘Fish’ in its name. The sole offering was $125, therefore an unlikely choice. The grilled sea bass was delicious but drowned in a tasty broth- grilled and seasoned Ed would have been preferred. The carmelized broccoli was tasty but could have been tastier. The server was very thoughtful and pleasant, even putting a birthday candle on a dessert when she noticed a guest reading a birthday card. However, it was hard to get her to bring the bill and, then, to get her back to pay the bill. No offer was made to refill the quite small cups of coffee. The place is very pretty/casual. We will not return because if the limited main course menu.
The fish is absolutely incredible and creatively prepared. Felt very safe dining inside. Wonderful evening and experience.
This was our first dining experience with Vernick Fish and it was beyond expectation. The food and drinks were amazing. We can’t even tell you what we liked best because we loved them all. Food was made to perfection and not overdone with flavor. Fast service, great care from all staff (from front desk of the Four Seasons to Vernick’s manager), and great ambiance all around. We love that the staff recognized that it was a birthday celebration without us even mentioning it or asking for a candle. Love the entire experience! We can’t wait to visit again very soon.
Was great food wise and server was great. There reservation software went down so we had to wait about 40 mins past our reservation time is the only reason why not 5 stars
A truly incredible that we have been waiting for a over a year to indulge in.
Food was amazing! If you haven't tried, I definitely recommend going.
First time out in awhile and so happy this was our first “back.” Love Vernick Fish and Four Seasons flare and service. Five stars!
Vernick Fish was outstanding in every way. There were so many amazing menu items, we had a tough time choosing. Every crudo was perfection, the quality and freshness of all the fish & seafood was superb.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I would give our overall experience 10 starts if I could. 5 just does not seem fair!
It was our 4th or 5th time there and after not going out to eat in about a year, it was the first place we wanted to go. It’s our favorite restaurant, the food is excellent and we’ve always had great service.
Sarah was amazing!!!
Nick the manager was amazing!!!!
Ordered Tuna Tartare, Squid Ink Cavatelli, Oysters Philadelphia, and the scallops. I enjoyed a Metropolitan cocktail, a white wine pairing recommended by our server, and topped everything off with an Espresso Martini for dessert. All was fantastic and just like with my last visit, I was very pleasantly impressed and satisfied with all of my experience!
Incredible food and super fun winter cocktails! Thanks for the unexpected combinations of ingredients and flavors, so good, as always!
Great food and great service. Wines by the glass choices were also really good.
Social distancing indoors was really well done and we felt safe. As far as the food, it was just stupendous. Loved the oysters and the sardines. I was really impressed by the wines we had, especially the Sauvignon blanc. Our server chose an excellent digestif for us at the end of the meal. It was an overall lovely experience and I can’t wait to go back.
Excellent menu, food was amazing !
Great date night. The food is delicious.
As always attentive service and unique presentations of seafood, halibut ceviche was amazing as was the squid ink pasta with crab small plate.
Can't wait for our next visit.
Excellent! Food was great. Service great and love the reduced crowd!
1st rate, crazy good meal. Each dish was absolutely delicious. Very nice sophisticated space. Excellent service. Our second visit to Vernick Fish, there will be more!
