   This restaurant is not the same since Vincenzo (owner & Chef) retired last month. The food was below average. We did not eat more than a couple of bites. The service was very slow. The music was too loud. I would not recommend this restaurant.

   None of the original wait staff was retained in the business turnover. It seemed as though they were short staffed - 2 waitresses for the entire dining room. Salad used to be included with the meal, but now they’re charging for salads. I ordered my favorite Fruitte di Mare on the menu for $21; but I was charged $28.00 with no explaination.    We come here once every few months. Was a great family Italian restaurant. Last time we went we had horrible service, very purse was taking 30-45 minutes but we thought it was a fluke. Went back last night and found out the owner sold off the place to someone new a few months ago and you could tell. The place use to be packed, now half the tables are open. Different bar menu, servers didn’t know the wines anymore. The menu was cut in half taking away some great items. And the service was just as bad as last time. We finally got our bread at the end of the meal

   we waited over 30 minute’s to be served our wine as the restaurant was severely under staffed. The menu has been reduced from the original. There was very little meat in the lasagna i ordered.

   I had a 5:00 P.M. reservation. At 5:15, I was standing outside the locked door with about a dozen other customers in the cold and rain. When we were finally admitted, the hostess did not remember (again) that I like to sit by the windows. The new owners had shrunk the menu to half of what it was. They no longer have fettuccini Alfredo with a choice of shrimp or chicken, veal saltimbocca, or for dessert, panna cotta. These were some of my favorites. They were out of Chianti and Frangelico and blamed their distributor. I guess they cannot find the liquor store down the street. The wait staff is not as professional as it was, since most of them left because they did not want to work for the new owners. I will not go back, but if you're looking for a step up from Olive Garden in this backward Cow Town where I was born, give it a try.
