The best service and huge portions of great food
We came here to celebrate my 30th birthday on 6/26/20 and we had a great time. The food was delicious the staff was friendly and helpful and the owner even joined in on my celebration. I don’t live in the state of Florida but next time I’m back in the area I’ll be sure to come in again!
Great food, great service, reasonable prices, easy to find
Excellent as always!!!
Everything was outstanding!!! Always feel like a VIP here. Food is second to none. Amazing flavors
Great food as always. Good job social distancing guests. Always a wonderful experience.
Very long wait for food. Was waiting for two hours.
Having been to Vito's previously, we kind of knew what we were getting, but this visit was very enjoyable!!! Our server, Franco was attentive, and outstanding. Guiliano and his kitchen staff once again made a wonderful meal. Highly Recommend Vito's!!!
Good location & ambience, services alright, but disappointed for their food, very basic spaghetti was over cooked & calamari super greasy. Our server was nice but unbearable cigarette smell, I need to cover my nose every time when he come over to our booth, one thing very bothered me was our server didn't wearing a mask under this COVID19PANDEMIC, and he was hanging at our booth table standing close & talk, I was worry his saliva went to my food. On the June 19 reported COVID-19 in St. John county add 33 new cases, Jacksonvile 175 cases, please ask your staffs to wearing mask so we can continue to enjoy dining out under this pandemic period. Thank you.
Couldn’t speak to anyone during the day until 4 pm for reservations.
Couldn’t accommodate 15 of my guests when I finally got through to someone to take reservations.
Online reservations have a limit. So I needed to call for the rest of my dinner party at 4 pm.
Noice level is loud. Doesn’t bother me but it did others. Can’t hear. Even difficult for the waiter to hear.
We were very disappointed! This has been one of our favorite restaurants, with the best Italian food in the Jacksonville area... but, no more. Why? There was absolutely no concern for the virus that has swept this country, staff not wearing masks, menus were old (who knows how many people have touched them), waiter hanging over our table, owner walked around hugging people, and the worst, the bar was surrounded, three deep with customers. We have been to another restaurant where they probably went overboard with caution... rather that, than what we experienced at Vito’s. Considering that some restaurants in Jacksonville have now closed down again because of staff COVID cases, we now feel the need to self- quarantine for two weeks. We are not happy!
We felt very nervous over the fact that no one, staff or patrons, wore masks. There was not much social distancing from other tables. Our waitress seemed very distant and somewhat hurried.
All and all, it was not nearly as good of an experience as our first visit.
Great food and inside ambiance. Don't eat outside if there is a chance of rain. Even though the tables are covered by a roof, the roof leaks all over the tables below. Silly that it has not been addressed.
It was a great dinner to celebrate our 51st Anniversary. Staff were friendly and professional. Food and ambiance were excellent. I recommend to anyone.
Great food 👌 nice atmosphere with friendly wait staff
The best Italian food in NFLA. Being from NY I have been luck to enjoy some of the best and Vito's stands up. You name it on the menu and its fantastic. I would say a must try but then It would be too busy for me to go.
The food has always been great! The chef does an amazing job! The restaurant always looks nice. Server's are nice too.
The food was wonderful, but this establishment is not following any guidelines from the health department regarding COVID-19. Not a single employee was wearing a mask, gloves, etc and the dining room was completely full with tables less than 6 feet away from each other.
3/8 ppl at our table were celebrating birthdays.
The band was so loud we could barely hear each other talking.
We asked our server to a if they could turn down the amplifiers and were ignored.
The bang bang shrimp was delicious. But that was it.
Worst mussels I’ve ever had. 1/2 of them weren’t even open. The lemon garlic butter sauce was not sauce at all. It was broth. Bland and linguini was overcooked.
Chicken parm was tough and gross. The marinara sauce was disgusting. Zero flavor. Tasted like puréed tomato’s. Oregon would have been better.
Tina was very rude and kept us waiting multiple times.
Love this place. We’ve been going there since they opened. This time the food was lacking a bit of flavor. Maybe it was an off day.
Love the food! Staff was great! Food selection was very good! Great place to go and enjoy a nice meal out!
Have heard great things about this restaurant. Glad we tried it. Food was good and service fine. Not many folks were dining there. Covid I'm sure had something to do with that.
Vito’s remains the leader in Italian restaurants in North Florida. Best ingredients, best olive oil and wonderful service.
Vito’s is the best!!!
Always a great time at Vito’s....... Treated like family and Dine like royalty.
Food and drinks were good, although we've had excellent meals there. The noise level was very high. Waitress was new and got a few items mixed up, but she corrected everything promptly and with a smile.
Always great food and service at Vito’s. I recommend this quality Italian food and dining to all.
Upon arrival we noticed the all the tables outside were occupied and close together. Hostess as well as the other servers were not wearing masks. We were seated upstairs in a corner booth where we felt save even though there was a large table of 20 people seating in the middle of the room. The service was terrific. Our drinks flavorful. My date had the chicken piccata and he enjoyed every last bite. I had the chicken Marsala which was ok but I have had much better. The sauce should had been thicker. The mushrooms tasted as if out of a jar or car and not fresh. The sauce should had been cooked longer since I could still taste the alcohol in it. I had a side of pasta with meat sauce since I rate Italian restaurants on their tomato sauce. It was very good. The garlic bread serviced with the meal was good. The house salad with the house salad dressing was bland. I would pass on the house salad dressing. It would had been better with some croutons in it as well as more tomatoes. The tiramisu was not up to standards that I am used to. Atmosphere is nice. I will try the place again,
love vito’s food.
It was great
Excellent authentic made from scratch Italian food!
Family birthday— This was our first time at the new Vitos. My son and his girlfriend were a lighted with the spaciousness, decor, And the food. They both said it was their new favorite restaurant.
slow service, portion for my dish very small fo 35.00 charge
Food and service was very good. New garlic bread recipe is much improved compared to previous bread.
Great food, great value, good service. The four of us did not understand why none of the staff were wearing masks while customers were before being seated.
Excellent food and service for our anniversary dinner. You can never go wrong with a visit to this great restaurant
Always love going to Vito’s
Staff is great - food was awesome
